The house has is located at the end of a long cul-de-sac with minimal traffic and a large yard perfect for kids to play. The nearest public beach is Ellis Landing, 1 mile away. There is a beach wagon, 4 beach chairs, and 2 umbrellas available to use. The property sits very close to the rail trail for easy access as well.
In the evening cool down in the house and then walk to restaurants, including JT's (0.4 miles), the Kitchen (0.4), Ukiyo ramen (0.4), The Island Blue Crab (0.7), and the Brewster Fish House (1 mile). Or go 1 mile to the Ocean Edge resort for upscale dining!
In the morning take a walk around town to get coffee and breakfast at the Snowy Owl (0.4 miles), Eat Cake 4 Breakfast (0.6), or the the Hopkin's House (0.5).
For those interested in a pool and resort amenities, weekly pool and tennis access passes can be purchased at the Ocean Edge Resort as sponsored guests of the owners. This is a separate fee payable to ocean edge for either weekly or daily rates. This allows access to the Ocean Edge Arbor outdoor pool (1.8 miles) and pool bar as well as the indoor/outdoor Fletcher pool (1.6 miles). Tennis court, pickle ball, kayak and bike rental access are also available with the passes at Ocean Edge.
