Sunrise Reach - A Smith Lake Retreat with room for everyone!

Cullman side, 20 minutes from 65! The house is best suited for up to 3 families. Below is a description of bedrooms and bathrooms to help you decide if this is the right stay for you:

SLOPE TO THE WATER
There is a significant slope to the water! It is hard work to get back from the dock to the house. You will feel it. That said, there is a gravel path on the property and sets of stairs to use (see photos). If you or someone in your party is not comfortable with stairs or walking on a slope, you may want to consider another property with a more flat walk to the water.

INTERIOR STAIRS
All bedrooms require stair access! 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and a bonus room are upstairs, one bathroom is on the main level, one bedroom, one bathroom, and a bunk room are in the basement. This home is not ADA compliant.

DOCK
The dock is made for hangouts! Bring a cart and cooler down with snacks, drinks, sunscreen, and a speaker to enjoy hours of fun. A Lilly pad, a kayak, and two stand-up paddle boards are available for use. There is power at the dock (helpful for charging devices). There is a picnic table with an umbrella, and a storage container with a couple of life jackets available. The dock has natural shade in the afternoons. At night, the green fishing light is great for fishing, watching fish, and swimming.

FIRE PIT
The property features an outdoor fire-side hangout area halfway between the house and the dock. The smokeless fire pit lets you enjoy the fire without smelling like smoke. Fire wood and fire starter material is included with the stay.

COOKING
Aside from the cooking inside kitchen basics there is a propane grill and a propane Blackstone cook top available. The grill and Blackstone are stored next to the house on the upper deck.

WIFI / CELLULAR
The home has excellent cell phone reception with major providers, and it is equipped with high speed internet (e.g., fiber). Perfect for streaming and working remotely.

BOOKING REQUESTS
Because this is our personal home, we carefully screen all incoming reservation requests. Upon requesting a reservation, you will receive a brief message regarding our house rules. Your response is required within 12 hours. Unresponsive requests will be declined to ensure clear communication and mutual expectation before confirmation.
