This was a perfect place for our family. It was close to a lot of things to do, but there was also plenty to experience on site. The heated pool was amazing and peaceful view of Lake Huron was breath-taking. Tons of space in the cabin and everything we needed was on site. Overall just a really nice space and the host was fantastic.

Like staying in the summer cottage from when you were kids only our house had three bedrooms and two bathrooms. Having the pool and the hot tub was an amazing experience for the kids plus the other people that were staying in the area with us knew our family so our grandkids were really happy. The house itself was comfortable. The owners are working on updating the whole area and you can see where they’ve put quite a bit of money and effort into it so far. It’s a lovely place to stay in. Lexington is a very nice little city very charming and quaint.

Overall this cottage had plenty of room. I would have loved having curtains or shades in the living room. Little things like a rug in the bathroom and removing the door just sitting there. However, it was a great location. Great communication,

Thank you for your review and for the helpful feedback! We’re glad you enjoyed the space, location, and communication during your stay. We actually debated adding curtains or shades in the living room because we didn’t want to take away from the beautiful view, but we completely understand the desire for added privacy and will definitely consider it. There also should have been a bathroom rug, and we’ve since purchased additional rugs so we have backups available while others are being washed. We appreciate you pointing out the little things that help us continue improving Blue Water Cove, and we hope to welcome you back again!

Need to clean between all the windows spiders webs and dead bugs doesn’t look like it’s been touched for years.Plastic bags with leaves and debris left to rot by wood pile. Ground bee nest right below kids rope swing . Just needs to be better maintained Bright side family had a great time in cabin 1

This is the perfect setting for a family like ours. Not only close to a lot of activities but also plenty of room to relax and enjoy the pool and the gorgeous view of Lake Huron.
