The cabin was definitely an upgrade from a tent, but left a lot to be desired. The area is convenient for North Shore exploration but the property itself is not. The hosts offer local experiences on the property that one can sign up for which is great, but not advertised until the day of arrival. The experiences occur Mon - Sat and since our arrival was on Saturday it was already to late to sign up for a Saturday experience when we were given the information. The directions to our cabin were clear, but with the signs posted to "keep out/private property" outside of our cabin it was unclear where we were allowed to explore, and a map was not provided. The accommodations were adequate. However, the plastic roof over the top king bed made for a very noisy night of creaking from the wind which overshadowed the lovely nature sounds. The twin bed area was cute, but there were several ants in that room the first night despite us not having any food up there. The bottom room was comfortable, but there was cat urine odor in that room that improved when the windows were left open. Finally, the indoor fans were appreciated, but if there was an awning at the entrance or an outoor area with shade it would have made a huge difference for the hot afternoons under the sun.
