Start your day with a steamy cup of coffee or tea and a tasty breakfast prepared in the well-equipped kitchenette and tune in the news or a sitcom on the flatscreen TV with cable for an entertaining morning.

Located less than three miles from the heart of Steamboat Springs and all of its wonderful dining and entertainment options and trailheads, this is the perfect place to be!

Enjoy having access to the amazing amenities right next door at Wildhorse Meadows, which include a large heated outdoor pool, three hot tubs, a fitness center, a game room, an outdoor firepit, and access to the Wildhorse Gondola. On-call shuttle service is also available.

In addition to Wildhorse amenities, you and your beloved friends will also have access to Trailhead Lodge's amenities, including a picnic area with grills and firepit, a boot drying room, ski rack storage, and many more!

This place was a great stay for a weekend. Great location close to the gondola, clean, respectful staff that delivered are needs super quick. Definitely would stay here again! The shuttle to town was awesome.

Being able to take the gondola right up to mt was fabulous! The condo was a perfect size for a couple. It was really comfortable. The staff was super nice and helpful. The outdoor hot tubs were great. Excellent place all around!

Excellent Location

Love the location of Trailhead and convenience of walking outside to take the gondola down to the ski transit center. No need for a car. Shuttle service is available to get you around town if you don't want to take the free city bus. The condo is clean, comfortable, and has everything you need if you want to cook. Great stay!

Stay away unless you like cold showers!

The lack of hot water both evenings after skiing is just unacceptable. Responsiveness by the front desk indicated a lack of caring. Vacasa was extremely slow to respond (2-3 hours) and didn't do anything to help (evidenced by 2nd night having the same issue). Additionally, there was an extremely strong Pine-sol cleaning odor on entering the unit, we had to leave the sliding door open for hours to dissipate. Besides that, it was a great property.

Ken, we are very sorry for the poor experience you had at our home. Regrettably, Trailhead Lodge experienced a hot water supply/demand issue throughout the month of March during spring break's period of high occupancy. The building’s mechanical contractor determined the system was not performing at full capacity. While the system will be restored to full capacity in the near future, regrettably, an immediate repair was not possible. This issue was building-wide and not unit-related. Please accept our apologies for this inconvenience and we hope you otherwise enjoyed your stay at Trailhead Lodge and your Steamboat vacation.

The room was beautiful, clean and had everything i could need in the kitchen. The parking garage is behind safety gates - i will warn you- it’s great for cars and small trucks - a little difficult for those of us with big trucks. Off site parking was not available. Love the place and will be staying again.

Great experience!

This was a great place for a small family reunion. The unit was spacious, clean and very comfortable. Kitchen fully equipped. We could see mountains from our unit but construction was right across the street. Great pool and several hot tubs. Location is super convenient.

Just ok

The front desk people were very nice, and service was very good. Kitchen was well stocked. However, the room itself is very dark and not very comfortable. There was nowhere to place your things. Only 1 luggage rack in the closet. Very small and tight. Needs hooks on the wall to hang coats, hats...also, shelves in bathroom would be nice to place things. We have been to many places in Steamboat and wanted to try this place. I don’t think I would choose this place again though.

Cramped and more like a hotel room.

This place was tiny and was basically a small hotel room, except it only had one bed and the showers were super cold. The kitchen sink had hot water; the shower did not. The washer was also only hooked up to cold water, which makes me wonder if the owner is trying to save pennies by keeping things cold or lukewarm. Either way, it was too much to pay to not have an oven or hot showers. We love the Trailhead property but won’t stay in a studio like this again.

Clean, convenient, beautiful studio

Awesome location just steps from a gondola that takes you directly into the ski square. Our studio was just what we needed and really looks more beautiful in person. We loved the fireplace, deep bath tub, and little kitchen that suited our needs just fine (note that there isn’t an oven in the studio though!) The amenities on site are great as well although you want to be first in line to be able to sign up due to regulations and they fill up crazy fast. We managed to snag a hot tub spot and really enjoyed it! Will 100% be back!
