The Space:
Wake up, pour a cup of coffee, and settle into the porch swing while the park across the street comes to life. Located in Coeur d’Alene’s historic Fort Grounds neighborhood, The Parkside Porch House places you just down the block from Lake Coeur d’Alene and within walking distance of downtown, Tubbs Hill, pickleball courts, beaches, North Idaho College, and the Centennial Trail.
This peaceful two-bedroom, two-bath home accommodates up to four guests and offers an inviting place to experience Coeur d’Alene at a relaxed pace. Start the morning with a walk to the water, spend the afternoon exploring downtown, and return home to unwind before heading back out for sunset. With such a convenient location, you can leave the car parked and enjoy many of the area’s best attractions on foot.
Inside, natural light, warm wood tones, real houseplants, and calming furnishings create a comfortable atmosphere that feels welcoming rather than overly staged. After a day at the lake or exploring North Idaho, settle into the living room and enjoy the warmth and ambiance of the electric fireplace.
The fully equipped kitchen makes it easy to prepare breakfast, pack a lakeside lunch, or share dinner at home. The spacious kitchen island provides plenty of room for meals and also serves as a convenient place to open a laptop when work needs to travel with you.
Super-fast 1 Gig Wi-Fi supports video calls, remote work, streaming, and multiple connected devices. Combined with the peaceful neighborhood and comfortable interior, it makes the home a convenient option for weekend trips, longer visits, and working getaways.
Each of the two bedrooms includes a comfortable queen bed and a peaceful, uncluttered setting designed for a restful night. With two full bathrooms, the home offers added privacy and convenience for couples, friends, small families, and traveling professionals.
The front porch is one of the home’s most enjoyable features. Relax on the porch swing with your morning coffee, watch activity in the park across the street, or wind down after a day of exploring. Beach chairs and beach towels are provided for trips to the lake.
The home has a single-level layout, wider doorways, and grab bars in one bathroom. These features may be helpful for guests with limited mobility, although the property is not represented as fully ADA-accessible.
Guests have private access to the entire home, including both bedrooms, two bathrooms, the living room, kitchen, laundry area, and front porch. Dedicated parking is available in the driveway.
The rear portion of the building is a separate private residence with its own entrance. There are no shared indoor spaces, although guests may occasionally see the neighboring residents outside.
Historic Fort Grounds is one of Coeur d’Alene’s most desirable neighborhoods. The park is directly across the street, Lake Coeur d’Alene is just down the block, and downtown restaurants, coffee shops, boutiques, beaches, and waterfront attractions are an easy walk away. The Centennial Trail also provides convenient access to the lake and surrounding areas by foot or bicycle. Despite its proximity to downtown, the neighborhood remains peaceful and residential.
This is a strictly pet-free home due to owner allergies. Please do not bring animals into the property. The home does not have a separate office or dedicated desk, but the kitchen island provides a comfortable place for laptop use.
