To the west are the North Sea, the Halligen and the island of Sylt (easily accessible by train from Niebüll or Klanxbüll). To the north is Denmark and the North Sea island of Rømø is also only 50 km away. And to the east you can discover the East Coast, Flensburg, fishing and the Danish South Seas not less far away. The historic town of Møgeltøndern is just a few minutes' drive away. The outdoor pool in Aventoft is open every day during the summer season.
