Holiday home Borgo Antico

The holiday home Borgo Antico is located in the mountain village of Vezzedo above Cremia, in a quiet alleyway on the slopes of Monte Bregagno, offering magnificent lake and mountain views. The entrance to the house is on the mountain side. A path leads alongside the house to the garden area with a small garden and a cosy little stone terrace furnished with lounge furniture.
On the upper floor of the house there is a balcony with wonderful lake views, as well as a table and two chairs for relaxing and enjoying the scenery.
The village is nestled among Mediterranean woodlands overlooking Lake Como. The Via Regina, an ancient Roman route, connects Vezzedo with the neighbouring village centres and is ideal for hiking or cycling.

The holiday home is situated on the mountain side and has its entrance in a charming alleyway. Upon entering the house, you arrive directly in the living area, which is located at the rear. Here you will find a spacious living room with a dining table, a sofa and a cosy fireplace.
From here, an offset staircase leads to the kitchen, which also features a dining table and a modern pellet stove. The pellet stove also heats the bedrooms.
A further staircase leads to the upper floor, where the lake-facing bedrooms are located. There is one double bedroom and one bedroom with two single beds. Both bedrooms have access to a balcony from which you can enjoy magnificent views over the lake.
The bathroom on the upper floor is equipped with a washbasin, a bath with shower, a WC and a bidet.
Overall, the holiday home is bright, with wooden furniture giving it a rustic Italian atmosphere, while all rooms feature light-coloured tiled flooring.

The holiday home offers a fascinating and peaceful location, making it an ideal base for hikers and mountain bikers.
Enjoy the charming Italian alleyway atmosphere of the mountain village of Vezzedo and its natural surroundings.
During the colder months, the house can be heated easily and efficiently by means of the pellet stove, fireplaces and wood-burning stove on the ground and upper floors.
There is a bike storage cellar, which is also ideal for storing your groceries.
At the entrance to the village, you can buy beekeeper’s honey and homemade wine – both very popular with the local population.
Due to its location and the staircases within the house, the holiday home is not suitable for guests with limited mobility.

Public parking is available approximately 300 metres away. The house cannot be reached directly by car. From the car park, a path partly paved with cobblestones and steps crosses a bridge into the mountain village of Vezzedo and leads to the holiday home "Borgo Antico".

In Cremia - San Vito there are beautiful, partly gently sloping shingle beaches, ideal for swimming and surfing. The bathing bay is perfect for families and water sports enthusiasts who wish to enjoy the sunshine and the crystal-clear water.

The following charges are payable on site:

- Tourist tax €1.50 per person/day from 15 years of age for up to 10 days

Services available on request:

- Wood for heating and barbecuing (charged according to consumption and payable on site)
- Pellets for heating €8 per bag
