Newly built and just a 0.3-mile (5-minute) walk to the ocean, this contemporary retreat sits at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac in Green Hill, Rhode Island. It's one of the few new homes within walking distance of the beach, with central air conditioning (not common at the shore), a chef's kitchen, and a rec room for rainy days. Ideal for a beach vacation enjoying natural, quiet surroundings. The peaceful setting invites you to relax and unwind after a day of exploring. Sleeps 5, plus 1-2 more on the sofa bed. *Must be comfortable going up and down stairs.*

Inside
The open living and dining area, with a gas fireplace, is made for family dinners and movie nights. The chef's kitchen has Italian appliances, custom cabinetry, and designer tile. Upstairs, the main bedroom has a king bed, desk, TV and large closet, plus an ensuite bath with double sinks and a spa shower. The second bedroom sleeps three with a twin and a full bed. The hallway bath has double sinks and a tub/shower. Upper-level washer and dryer make longer stays simple. With extra guests, the living room sofa opens to a comfortable double bed (bedding provided).

Room to spread out
The converted garage is now a spacious rec room, a great spot for kids and teens to burn off energy while the adults relax upstairs.

Outside
Eat on the deck or roast s'mores at the built-in fire pit, with six Adirondack chairs and s'mores forks provided. Grab the beach wagon and chairs from the shed and walk to the soft-sand beach. Borrow GHCA kayaks or bring your own to launch at the dock on Green Hill Pond, a short walk from the house. After a fun day outdoors, rinse off in the outdoor shower. A retractable clothesline is available under the deck to easily dry suits and towels.

Green Hill Civic Association perks
Your stay includes access to the private Green Hill Civic Association (GHCA):

Tennis and pickleball: Pickleball paddles and some balls are in the house. A key is provided for the tennis court shed, where you can borrow racquets. We recommend bringing fresh balls.

Kayaks and paddleboarding: GHCA kayaks are marked on the rack at the dock on Green Hill Pond, a short walk from the house. A key to the dock shed lets you borrow paddles and life vests, which are required in RI. You're welcome to bring your own kayak or paddleboard to launch from the dock.
