1 Bedroom, 1 Bathroom, first story Condo/Studio directly on the beach. Large patio with pavered deck to enjoy the best sunsets on Anna Maria. Seat on your shaded porch and enjoy the Florida's native vegetation that surround our property including the protected Sea Oates and if lucky the occasional turtle nest. 4 chairs and a table are provided for your deck area, as well as 2 chase lounges for your sun bathing enjoyment.
Unit has been updated with all new Stainless Steel kitchen appliances and new furniture and bedding throughout. The unit has a queen bed in the BR and a futon in the FR. This unit has 2 flat screen TV'S and one window AC/HEAT units. Small 8x20 heated pool on site. The BBQ/patio area on the property is equipped with a new custom made built SS double charcoal grill for your cooking enjoyment .Charcoal is NOT PROVIDED. .Everything you need for a perfect beach vacation!! This unit has LOW CEILING and some areas of the studio/apartment may not appropriate for guests 6'2 or taller (VRBO # 552126 has high Cathedral ceilings). Parking available for ONE CAR ONLY.

Great stay

Great little vacation spot clean and in a great location. If its possible drive a small vehicle parking can be tight...well almost impossible with large trucks in the mix.

Perfect beach front for toddlers

This was just what we needed to accommodate a 2 and 3 year old. All the beach necessities were provided, and the rooms were clean and comfy. It was perfect to go back and forth all day to beach to get small kids out of the sun. Beach front is the best stay if you have Littles, no packing the car again and again.

Spring break 2024

We had a wonderful stay. Perfect weather every day. Despite visiting at the busy spring break week, it did not bother us at all as beach is so beautiful. spent most of our time there. Step right out onto the beach. It is located between the bridges so seemed like traffic was on either end of the island only. Minor issue with ice maker was promptly dealt with by owner and property manager. They checked back often to assure all was well. Perfect size for a couple. Parking is tight, bring a small car. Awesome Publix grocery store short distance away. Would definitely return

Wishing for a shorter walk to paridise!

The location of the condo was fabulous. My main issue is we couldn't use the door that walks out to the beach. This was one of the perks in selecting this property. We reached out to thecontact about it and we never heard back from them. Sad we paid for this and couldn't use its primary purpose. Super disappointed we did not here back from the property contact. Clean, Comfortable, right on the beach

This is a great little place for a couple to spend some time right on the beach in Anna Maria. It is a downstairs unit, with the noted low ceilings, but is cozy. It is great that you can walk out the back door and be right on the beach, and the sunsets on the gulf are amazing. There is only parking for one vehicle, and if every unit is full, the parking is very tight, but workable. The kitchen has great new appliances for those cooking their own meals. The only inaccuracy in the listing was that there is only one flatscreen TV, and one "traditional" TV. The location makes it convenient to access from Cortez or Bradenton. Overall, I would recommend this property highly so long as the noted limitations are not of concern for the renters.

Hi Jason , thank you for your positive review. Unfortunately there is not much we can do about the low ceiling and limited parking. Believe me, we have tried. We definitely can correct the TV issue and will do so in a couple of weeks after occupancy slows down. We also intend is changing that TV stance with a furniture that would have more drawer as another guest has suggested. Thank for your input. Nice Condo

Loved the location and closeness to the water. Refrigerator was our biggest problem. It didn’t keep food or drinks very cold. The freezer couldn’t even make ice. It leaked water on floor every time you opened it. Also there were some big cement steps you had to remember to step up or down and you tripped a few times if not paying attention. My wife almost got really hurt. All and all we liked the place and location and had a pretty good time.

Excellent view!

After reading the past reviews I was very nervous, but I was definitely pleased when I walked in the door!! Updated kitchen appliances, tile floor, bathroom was recently updated, a little small (but I didn't book the room to be in the bathroom for long). Amazing view!!! I wish I could post a picture!! Steps to the beach. Very small pool that was used to dip in to get the salt and sand off. The only thing that I was upset about was leaving! We will be back in #3!! Wifi is a little weak, but if you get the password, you will be fine! Thanks Frank for keeping your promise of an excellent stay!

Quirky but fun

We spent two delightful weeks at Casa Marina, a quirky but fun place on the Gulf beach. First the negatives. We stayed in Unit III, just the right size for the two of us, but the living room needs a better lighting and more comfortable seating. Otherwise the living space is well equipped and adequate. The pool is really too small to be useful and too cool to be swimable. The great advantage of Casa Marina is its location on the beach, but with a courtyard near the beach which on cool days blocks the wind, making it very comfortable. Each unit also has a private deck, not available on many places on the beach. This place allowed for meeting interesting people, for excursions to restaurants and museums, for reading a number of good books, and for visiting with good friends. This was our fifth year at Casa Marina.

The description is false advertising!!!! Beware! There is no futon, they are fold out couches...

I was very upset that the listed futon was a FOLD OUT COUCH... fortunately the property manager was a GOD send and he did, within a very short period of time, get me a decent mattress (other than the filthy piece of foam) for the fold out mattress. He was wonderful, however, a fold out couch has bars... I spent 5 nights sleeping horizontally on a fold out couch. I would NEVER have accepted a location with a fold out couch. This is FALSE ADVERTISING. Fortunately, I am barely over 5 feet tall, so I was able to sleep horizontally (between the bars) with my feet hanging over the edge of the fold out. The sand piled up in the courtyard, like a snow drift, made it impossible to use the chairs, as one would have to drag the chairs through the sand. The air conditioner was barely able to keep the condo at 75 degrees, although it was run at 70 degrees the entire time we were there. I was sadly disappointed with these things, however, the view was phenomenal, and the beach sand was like powder. If you are OK with sleeping horizontally on a fold out sofa, this is THE place for you!

Amazing location. Charming apartment.

First, the location lives up to the description. You have a beautiful ocean view from the apartment and a private patio with a table and chairs where you can see the ocean. There is a small communal private beach/yard (with the BBQ) about 30 feet deep, where you can eat or hang, or you can just walk across it to the main beach. I mention because the view includes the yard as well as the beach and ocean from there ground floor. The beach is gorgeous, and you can watch the sunset from your apt or out on the beach. It also wasn't crazy crowded. It's a good place to rent kayaks or paddle boards for the week since the water is very calm. The apartment is more charming than I expected from the photos. Stained pine ceilings, French doors, shutters and nice tile floors all add to the charm. The layout is more of a studio with a sun porch than a classic one bedroom, which was great for us as a family but good to know if someone needs more privacy. The kitchen is surprisingly well-appointed with appliances, including a blender and electric can opener. It's a bit light on mixing bowls and I didn't find any measuring cups/ spoons, so maybe not great if you want to cook an elaborate meal, but just fine for us. Valerie, the manager was very helpful and extremely friendly. At check-in, she says, "we're not trying to make everything perfect; it's the beach." So if you can roll with a few quirks, you'll be extremely happy. We also enjoyed the little pool, which was kept comfortably warm. They could do more with the pool ambiance, but then, the main attraction is the beach. All in all, we loved our stay. The hard part is leaving!

Good Morning Nora, Thank you for your kind words. We strive in making your stay a memorable and in maintaining the Old Florida feel in our units. I am glad you enjoyed your stay. Thank you for the heads up on the kitchen supplies, we replace them at least twice a year. Many times we find then in one of the other units as guest gather around the BBQ area and utensils find their way into another unit. We will get some more just to be sure there are enough for for everybody. We are getting a new new Old Fashion Florida roof next week, so if you visit us next year there may be a little different look.!!! Hope you would like it. Thanks again, Frank.

Liked the property location on beach. My husband had a work accident and was on crutches so there was only 5 steps up to beach. The beach was awesome and that’s what we came for. Happy with accommodations everything we needed to use was there. Frank was nice and got us a shower chair which was useful. There was a lot of sand in the common area it would be difficult to enjoy it. The sand needs shoveled down to be able to use. Parking tight as we were made aware if. Overall would definitely rent again. Beautiful beach and sunsets. Found a lot of great shells.

Bad tropical paradise

Location is great, beautiful beach and very close… right out the door.. however, the unit is run down, everything is worn, the unit is very tiny.. there is an awful smell coming out of the drains, we had to put towels over them to keep the smell out. Screen door has fallen off, I sent 3 messages to have it repaired because we would have loved to enjoy the breeze off the ocean without the bugs, the owner told me that unfortunately on the beach things rust up and break, he could t get there until the Tuesday after I left, speaking of bugs, you couldn’t sit out back because of the nats it was damp and the leafs has piled up and just looks awful.. never again and the pictures look nothing like the unit

Walk out right onto the beach

Location is great. Anything you need is within walking or just a mile away Room is small. Not much room to move around in bathroom. Multi level floor is somewhat dangerous at night. Can't beat the location though.

Dusty, moldy, dirty!

I would not recommend this rental. We were constantly being disturbed because of the parking situation. The manager called numerous times to ask questions about the parking and asked to re-park our car (even though we had always parked our car in the designated spot). Mostly it was just incredibly dirty- specifically, dusty, moldy and smelling of mildew. Not sure what the other reviewers were talking about, this place needs some serious work and at the least a deep cleaning. There was mold growing on the baseboards and on the vent in the bathroom. The layer of dust on the baseboards suggested that it had not been deep cleaned in months. Also, the mildew smell was so bad that we actually went out to buy candles to try and cover up the smell. Additionally, the shower head was leaking and the shower control knob/handle was falling off the wall. Felt like the place has not been updated in decades. Some other issues included the AC barely being able to keep up (it never turned off & we followed his directions to leave it at 73°), the kitchen lacking in supplies, the towels being stored right next to plunger, and all the blinds being broken. The only redeemable qualities were the price and location. However, still not worth it. Would never stay here again.

Beach Paradise

The property was exactly as advertised. Right on the beach. You can't neat the location. The unit is great for 2 people. Read the description though. I am 6'5 and the ceiling height is 6'2. I hit my head several times but the view is worth it.

Parking was a problem as spaces were not big enough. Street appeal zero. Great beach view. Bathroom had sewer smell. Otherwise, condo was clean & well furnished. Pool is between 2 buildings & is not more than oversized bathtub.

Perfect location!

We enjoyed our stay! A family of 3- we wanted a place on the beach, with a pool. The pool was very, very small. We were shocked by this, but our 5 year old loved it. The condo was decent. It was clean but a few things that got our attention. There was no spatulas, rubber scraper, limited cooking utensils. The blender was cracked. The extra towels were stored under the sink in the bathroom next to the plunger. Yuck! We did have issues with the tv/internet and washer:dryer. Frank was helpful with all concerns that we addressed with him. We were shocked by the low ceilings/doorways. All in all we had a good time, unfortunately I would not recommend the unit we rented for anyone over 5’10!

A little piece of heaven

This unit is right on the beach which is it's major plus! It is small but not too small for just my husband and I. I give the review a 4 out of 5 stars because I feel there is always a bit of room for improvement in everything BUT we are returning for our third season in 2020 :-)
