The only real negative was a noisy neighbor who played music too loud. The place was clean and well stocked. The view was fantastic!

The neighbor makes this an uncomfortable stay

The owner/leasing folks likely have no control. Next door neighbor comes out his door any time you're coming/going into the unit-brings his dog or leaves it barking at the door for long periods, immediately lights up a cigarette blowing smoke & leaving ash to be tracked into your unit. Smokes on the porch any time he hears you go out on your own porch. By 11am daily he has the stereo cranked up w/heavy bass reverberating through the common wall non-stop until 11pm. Music can be heard above the tv in your unit, into the bathroom over the running water & vent fan. He leaves his bagged trash & wet towels in the shared corridor for days. We had some of this foolishness last time we stayed & provided feedback in hopes it could be addressed. This will, sadly, be our last try staying here since this made our stay uncomfortable throughout. The unit itself has had recent updates & is comfortable, clean & well appointed. Check in this time was much more smooth/easy than the past with the card keys, parking & pool passes all right there in the unit this time. One small issue w/leasing agent, we got our docs w/door & gate codes, but gate code was only good through Nov 30 - that was only 1st day of our stay. Found ourselves stuck outside gate w/groceries/ice cream melting on Dec 1 w/no gate code. Another resident took pity on us & gave us the code/let us in as she was walking her dog. Attention to details like codes expiring during a stay & proactively providing the new code.

Its a nice condo right on the beach with excellent view of the ocean. It had all the essentials for what we needed for our stay. we did have problems with the hot water on our last night but I would classify that as **it happens. definately would consider staying there again

Not a bad option

We love this property and have been pleased staying at this unit. Clean and comfy. A bit short on the things I need in a kitchen for basic stuff like making and cutting frozen pizza or clipping closed an opened bag of chips, cookies or cereal. Would be nice to have a pitcher for making iced tea as well. Wasn't real thrilled with the next door neighbor this year. Not really anything the unit owner can do but the guy is constantly moving stuff into his unit - lots and lots of stuff. And when he gets tired of moving stuff in he just leaves it in the common hallway space. In addition he plays his music so loudly you can hear it through the concrete walls with all the doors closed and over the tv in this unit. Luckily he didn't do that late at nigt or early in the morning but between his loud music and the upstairs visitors who decided to drag the furniture around across the floors several times a day it got a bit irritating. Again, not anything the unit owner can do anything about so my rating absolutely doesn't reflect it. Again this year we had to chase down someone at the "office" for a parking pass to display. This isn't anything new either. Their listed hours are a source of jokes for hubby and me at this point.

Perfect view & Clean Condo

The condo was perfect for our stay. Balcony is perfect for enjoying the view and the sound of the waves. Clean comfortable unit, had everything neede for a relaxing stay! Bonus was a large window down a small hall where we could see the ocean from the bedroom and wake up to the sunrise!

Comfortable Unit - Check In Process Hot Mess

Been coming to this property since the 80s. Love the location & that all units have great view of the beach. When wanting to visit FL we tend to come back again & again. This was our 1st visit to this unit- past visits included our kids. Unit was exactly as presented & we were comfortable in our stay. Be aware the full bath is a snug fit. NOT recommended for anyone w/mobility challenges, you'll struggle getting in/out of the shower. (NOTE: that 1st step out of the shower the floor is VERY SLICK when wet) Check In is a MESS. Our last 3 yrs visiting experienced check in issues w/this property-have rented through several different companies. This stay we arrived @ 4pm for 4 pm check in. Made our way to the unit, used code & key/keybox to get into the unit. No door card keys found in the unit. Office hours stated on all documentation, property websites & posted show Saturday until 5pm. At 4:08pm the office was closed (@ 4pm based on a yellow post it w/handwritten message stuck to the office window. Called Great Ocean Properties for info on getting card keys for the unit & parking gate key. Advised use the key from keybox & gate stays open until Monday. On Monday at 3:28pm we tried again to get keys/gate card. Office still closed w/same post it note. Same Tues & Wed. Finally caught someone in on Thurs mid-morning who was rude & combative but finally gave us keys. The parking lot gates were a crap shoot all week-once we arrived to find them closed & waited 10 mins while our ice melted & someone kept hanging up on our call button attempts. We love this property & may stay here again -but this is yr 3 of this same foolishness with keys and parking. It makes an otherwise nice visit a pain in the butt & inconvenient.

Our Florida Fun

The actual property was great. It was well equipped and clean. We wanted an oceanfront view and enjoyed it immensely. The area was well manicured. It would have helped to have a few bars of soap in the bathrooms to start with.

Great View

Kitchen had everything we needed (new pastry brush is required however). Parking was good and residents/renters very friendly. Couches and soft sided furniture need replaced. As always, internet pictures give the illusion on a larger space. Would consider renting again.

We did have problems with getting in and out of the property. The problem was at the gate.

We had problems getting in and out of the gate. The guests need to be assigned clickers instead of cards that donā€™t work that well.

My husband and I enjoyed the beautiful views from this condo unit. It had all of the amenities for kitchen and beach, it was clean and comfortable. The pool was amazing! We will definitely be back!

Week at the beach

Found condo to be as advertised. Great location and the complex was in good condition. Having beach chairs and umbrellas at the condo very handy. Bring at least $3.00 in quarters to wash the beach towels. Would definitely come back again.
