A extremely open floor plan welcomes you and your family as you arrive with soaring cathedral ceilings, hardwood floors and a sun drenched feel (you finally know your at the shore). The open tiled kitchen with breakfast bar is fully equip for all your vacation needs including full size refrigerator with ice maker, range with built in microwave and Keurig coffee maker. Comfortable living room with flat screen TV, free wireless internet and free local and long distance calling. More than adequate for our family to stay and enjoy each other’s company. Spacious. Nice to have enough dining table space to all sit together. Great location!

Our 3rd year staying here at the end of Sept. Very comfortable for 6 adults. The rooftop balcony is a great place to catch the sunset. 2 blocks from the beach. Enjoyed the bikes and ping pong table! Veru close to pickle ball courts. Looking forward to next year!

The place was nice. Steps getting the second floor are a bit steep but doable. We had terrible weather but that had nothing to do with the place. It limited our ability to enjoy the deck and alll the amenities of the place. With four days of rain your games and puzzles came in handy especially for a 7 yr old.

Overall, a great stay. Great location and everything in the unit was functional. Several things were a bit outdated and need to be upgraded soon (dishwasher, washer/dryer, balcony table and umbrella, and a few other minor things.) However, these items didn’t take away from our wonderful stay, and for the great price that this unit goes for, we felt it was totally worth it all. Will strongly consider returning!

Location is fabulous: easy walk to the beach and all things boardwalk. There were lots of amenities (which we didn’t use bec we brought our own): beach chairs & umbrellas, bikes, grill, even a ping pong table); well-stocked kitchen (dishes, utensils, pots, cooking, etc); beachtags for 5. Layout of house and common areas was terrific too and we enjoyed the breezy front deck roofed area in the late afternoon. Visually the interior is great, but a lot of the interior furnishings are tired or need more careful maintenance; major appliances have seen better days: fridge had 2 broken shelves, dw and washer sound like they’re grinding things, k sink faucet not well attached to sink, common area light switches were confusing and don’t all work; outdoor: shower great but hard to turn; split hose needs to be replaced; teak table is covered in lichens/not useable; quite a few of the outdoor plastic Adirondack chairs were broken.

Great as usual.

Third time staying in this home and exactly as expected. Home is kept up with and clean. Close to everything but far enough away that you get a great amount of peace and quiet. Plenty of room for everyone to have their own space. Rooftop deck has great views, even at night where you can see the rides lit up on the boardwalk. Will be returning as soon as we can.

Fa ily reconnection

Hello, I rented the lovely property. My sons, their families with young children accompanied me. We spent the week enjoying each other's company. We love to cook. Everything in the kitchen was provided for us to make our meals. When the young children needed to be held, calmed or amused, the front porch was excellent for me to take them out there for some quiet time. Also, the adults enjoyed the rooftop porch to chill out once the children were asleep. The walk to the boardwalk was quick and although it was at least several blocks until we got to the main portion of the boardwalk, we liked looking at the shrubbery on the right side and the properties with swimming pools on the left side. Of course, access to the beach was easy; weather provided us with 6 days of bliss swimming, digging in the sand and sitting in the surf with young children. The washing machine and dryer were close to the bedrooms; this made it convenient to throw in wash on our way to the living area. Beautiful property as well as the adjoining properties that I so very much enjoyed viewing as we went to the beach.

A Great Family Retreat

This home was excellent for our quiet September family vacation. The home was very comfortable and had everything we needed. The top deck was great to enjoy the sun and ocean breezes. We will book this place again in the future!

Another Great Stay

This is the second time my family stayed here. We are 5 adults. It was very comfortable. We love the roof deck! Scott is very responsive: there was a problem with the grill when we first tried to use it. I emailed Scott that night, and he actually came out, saw it was an issue with the new tank we had gotten, and it was fixed within an hour! And the last night we enjoyed the old-school pictionary game in the house. It's 1.5 blocks to the beach. There were 3 working bikes, beach chairs, and a ping pong table in the garage. We would definitely stay again!

Nice location; only negatives were that the "lock" on the outside shower and the "lockbox" were corroded; also, use caution when carrying anything up or down the steps-- the step at the 1st-floor landing can be "tricky" ...

Perfect Stay on the Gold Coast

We had high expectations based on prior reviews, and this house definitely met them. Scott, the owner, was straightforward and easy to deal with. Super-clean and well-stocked, you can tell that a lot of effort goes into making your stay as pleasant as possible. The location is quiet at night, but it's a quick walk to the beach and the boardwalk. Definitely worth a look for an OC vacation - thanks for a great trip, Scott!

Great house and location for a family of 5 + grandparents

Owner reached out with clear instructions for our stay. The house was clean and spacious with everything we needed for the week. Our 3 kids and my parents all had comfortable beds to sleep in. The neighborhood is quiet and a close walk to the boardwalk and beach. Book it!

Great location. Short walk to the best parts of the boardwalk but just far enough to be away from the noise and activity and just a block and a half walk to the best beaches in OCNJ. The home was very clean, nicely furnished and kitchen was very well stocked for cooking. Living room deck could use some updated furniture dining table and chairs especially. All in all very nice property our family had a wonderful week.
