Six Seas is a 4 bedroom, 2 bath Gulf Front home sitting directly on West Beach in Gulf Shores. It has all the amenities and conveniences you'd expect for your vacation - granite counter-tops, new flooring throughout, washer/dryer, LCD TV's, DVD, two decks!, porch swing for lazy afternoons, picnic table. Play in the sand and surf all day with the convenience of having your house steps away. Six Seas is located 0.2 miles from the nearest condominium, insuring your stay there to be free of crowded beaches and ongoing beach traffic. It is only 4.0 miles from the 'T'(main beach intersection in Gulf Shores), so it offers the best of both worlds as a private getaway with easy access to all the amenities that the Gulf Coast has to offer.

If you enjoy collecting shells, wake up early and head out the door to an amazing assortment of shells unlike anything I have seen on the island. If you like to eat out, Six Seas is a short drive to all of Gulf Shores', Orange Beach's, and Perdido Key's most famous and delicious restaurants. If you are like me and don't care to fight the crowds, chill on the beach all day and walk a few mere feet to one of your two private decks to throw something on the grill. If you like the nightlife, the Alabama/Florida Gulf Coast is home to world-famous spots like the Hangout, Lulu's, the Pink Pony, the Flora-Bama and more.

We had the best time on our vacation. This house was perfect for our family! Just steps away from the ocean made it easier to come and go to the beach as we wanted as well as the kids. We will be back! :)

Good Value

This beach house is a good value for the price. If you just want a comfortable and clean place with a great location, this is the one for you. If you are looking for a well stocked kitchen and great bathrooms, you probably need to pay more to get that. Overall, we had a great time and would recommend this place as a budget friendly option.

The house itself was the perfect size for our family of 10! But the air conditioner was out for the first three nights of our stay and it was 90 degrees in there so no one could rest or shower or eat without dripping in sweat! The owner did reimburse some money after a few phone calls and text! We showed up Saturday afternoon and it wasnt fixed until Tuesday around noon! So we only enjoyed about half of our vacation! There needs to be a couple more bigger skillets to cook with a more spatulas! But other than that the house itself was beautiful!

Wonderful Property

Excellent property. We enjoyed stepping out onto the beach, watching the dolphins from the deck, and enjoying the 4th of July in the beach! Wonderful property with great amenities. Thanks so much for a perfect week!

Bugs & Fuzzy Green Mold

Lots of stairs, fuzzy green mold on the tables, roaches in kitchen and main bathroom, smoke alarms going off, very poor comunication with the host.

Great location but…

The pictures made the place look better than it actually was. The paint on the walls had been touched up badly. The fridge had a broken crisper sign and the other crisper drawer was also broken. There were only 2 hand towels in the whole house. The master upstairs was fine but the other bedroom upstairs had only 2 twin beds, no other furniture and no closet. The only access to the bathroom was through the master. As far as location it was great but would not want to stay there again.

Family Vacation

The Six Seas beach house was a wonderful home right on the beach. Our family was very pleased with our stay and had a great vacation. My grandchildren did not want to leave. The response time of management was very quick with the WiFi which just needed reset due to storms the previous week. If you stay in Gulf Shores go check out the local grocery store Rouses it is amazing. The fresh seafood is delicious and great prices. Wonderful family time and memories made!!!!

Good location, house needs work

First the good: The location is great and the beach is very quiet. Plenty of stuff nearby. Overall the house was clean. The not so good: Upon arrival we got the key out of the lockbox. The check-in instructions noted it can be tricky to get the key, but we got it out no problem. Could never get it back in and closed. A few days before checking out I reached out to the property manager asking what we should do and no response. I also never got a response on a message I sent right after booking. We never heard from him once. Additionally, this house needs some safety updating. The stairs in the house are such a hazard. There is no way they are to code and I was a nervous wreck with the kids sleeping upstairs going up and down them. We also kept tripping over the bottom step as it sticks out very far. All of the steps are different sizes and shapes. The deck also had several nails sticking up and the rail to walk down to the beach and carport is very splintery so we couldn't hold the rail! Outdoor furniture was broken and not nearly enough seating for 12 guests. Wooden benches aren't suitable for sitting on...also splintery. And maybe the biggest complaint - the boardwalk in all the photos DOES NOT BELONG TO THIS HOUSE. You have to walk over a pretty steep sand dune and would be a problem for elderly or those with mobility issues. The reviews said the kitchen is stocked but I would say if you plan to cook a lot, that's not accurate. Bring stuff from home.

We have owned property and vacationed in Gulf Shores since 1986. We chose Gulf Shores over several other destinations due to its peaceful atmosphere and beautiful, relatively uncrowded beaches. We live a short drive away and still visit Gulf Shores often, so we remain in good contact with our properties to insure they are in proper condition.

The BEACH! Nothing beats beachfront and nothing beats the privacy this house has to offer. Upon driving up to the house the first time and seeing the beach, we knew it was where we wanted to be and that others would want to experience that feeling as well.
