Stunning Views High On The Hill Above Phillipsburg

Vista Royale is a private 2 bedroom 2 bathroom unit that sits high on the hill overlooking Phillipsburg and Great Bay. It is located in Monte Vista which is a private gated community designed for privacy and security. During the day you can sit by the pool and watch the cruise ships come in. At night you can enjoy the veranda and watch the magnificent sunsets. There is a built in BBQ for your use.

A sliding glass wall in the living room and dining room opens to bring the outside in. Ceiling fans on the veranda and in each room bring the Caribbean breezes in. Each bedroom has separate air conditioning as well as the living room.

Vista Royale has all the amenities to make you feel right at home. There is a fully equipped kitchen including dishwasher and microwave. All small appliances are provided. There is a washer/dryer in the unit as well as cable tv, free wifi,

Each bedroom has an ensuite bathroom. The master bedroom has a king bed and the second bedroom has a Queen Bed. High end linens are provided as well as bath and beach towels. The master bedroom also has an outdoor shower if you would prefer to shower with the Caribbean breeze.

Entertain on the veranda or next to your private infinity pool while enjoying the views.

The condo was great! The views were incredible and the condo was very comfortable and well stocked. If you like watching the sunset, this is the place for you!If you plan to explore the island, and I hope you would, you'll need a car. There are wonderful restaurants and shops that you won't want to miss. I didn't see it mentioned on the description, but there are (sturdy) spiral steps from the front door down to the living level. When we return to the island, we will DEFINiTELY stay here again because it has all of the amenities on our list.

We had an excellent stay. The view from the balcony was breathtaking - we enjoyed watching the cruise ships arrive and depart, the beach and distant hills. We could even spot the island of Saba I believe. Apartment was spacious, kitchen was well stocked. There was a mixup with our dates and the apartment wasn't ready or cleaned when we checked in, but upon contacting Debra, she ensured Chris got in touch and got cleaning crew to get the apartment ready for us. Other than the initial hiccup, everything went very well for us, and we would love to come back! Thanks!

Great villa

The villa was great and the view was amazing. We loved staying there. Beaches were beautiful and the food was great. Only downside was the traffic.

Excellent Stay

Beautiful, clean home with its own private pool! Great view of the cruise ships. Had everything we needed and loved the open air living area. Would definitely recommend!

Beautiful Trip

Villa was beautiful and very clean. Great views both day and night. Having the pool made the sunny days very enjoyable. All amenities available in the unit was an excellent bonus. Cannot wait to book again.

Great place to stay. View was incredible. Was so nice to have a washer and dryer to wash our clothes. Kitchen was good for cooking in. Chris made sure we had what we needed.

Great stay

Beautiful views! Great place. It has all you need to stay comfortably. The cruise ships are fun to watch come in and out. If you are a light sleeper, the port can be loud. Pool was refreshing. We would stay there again!

We enjoyed our stay in St. Marteen very much, there was an issue the 1st 2 days we was at the rental, the ac inthe living room was not cooling and it was very hot. I spoke to the owner, she promptly sent maintenence over (Chris is an absolute gem). Chris could not get the air fixed is the only reason it took 2 days to repair, this was out of there hands, however they tried. After that, the vacation was very nice, the rental views and description are not done justice by the photos, I could sit out onthe back patio for hours. Thank you for the lovely stay, we would definitely stay here again

Beautiful property and views

Amazing experience at Deb's property, the condo has been recently remodeled and looks fantastic. The kitchen is well-equipped with everything to prepare meals. The outdoor space is even better than it looks in the photos, so nice to have a private pool and be able to watch the cruise ships sail in and out every day. Definitely would stay here again without hesitation!

Real gem!

We loved everything about our stay at Vista Royale! Favorite thing to do was open up the glass doors and take it all in. We could never get tired of that view! The outdoor space is just perfect. So fun to watch the cruise ships arrive in the morning and set sail in the evening. The kids loved the infinity pool and its lighting at night. Chris, the property manager, could not be more accommodating. Comfy beds, fast Wi-Fi, and nice updates. We had everything we needed for an amazing Christmas vacation. Can’t wait to come back!

Spectacular

We have stayed here before. While the Villa was perfect before, it is more stunning now with the owner’s recent renovations. The property manager was courteous and responsive to a couple of minor issues. View is extraordinary over the port of Phillipsburg. We hope to return.

Vacation with a view.

Seclusion with the ability to see everything. Enjoyed the amenities and luxury of the unit and night swim in the private pool. particularly enjoyed the cruise ships coming and going. Only a short drive to Chesterfields and the Green House for delicious dinners and cocktails. Definately will return.

Awesome vacation

Don’t know if a nicer place-with the gorgeous inside, huge and wonderful patio and breath taking view-exists in St Maarten!!!! Watching the cruise ships go in and out of port, while in the infinity pool, was an awesome experience!!! The sunrises and sunsets??!! WOW!!! 😍

All the comforts of home

This rental is a hidden gem! The house is well cared for with all of the amenities you need. We could live here, no problem! The pool and the view are spectacular! Beautiful sunsets! The port below is active with cruise ships during the day and cargo ships some nights but not an issue for us. This was our first time in St Martin and if we return we would love to rent this home again.

Beautiful Home With Panoramic View

Hello - just want to thank Deb for allowing us to stay at her beautiful home for 11 days during the 2023/2024 holidays. The home was beautifully decorated and we felt at home. We wanted for nothing. Loved the panoramic view of the marina - yachts/ships/tourists - which kept us busy. Fireworks display was something to see and enjoy from the balcony. This place was superb! Relaxing, invigorating and peaceful. Thank you again!

More than we could have asked for!

We stayed at Vista Royale for two weeks March 27, 2016. The condo was beautiful and clean. We had everything we needed and more! The view was to die for. Getting up in the morning with a coffee and sitting on the patio was the ultimate relaxation! St. Martin is our favourite island and we hope to return to Vista Royale in the future. Thank you Debra and Laurence for sharing your beautiful condo with us. It is a little piece of heaven!

31st Wedding Anniversary Trip

This was our 3rd trip to Saint Martin and this was the BEST VRBO experience. The home is spectacular in every way - your renovations were so wonderful! You've thought of everything when planning for your visitors! Thank you for having the wonderful AC unit too! :) The views at Point Blanche are truly magical. We enjoyed the island daily, but raced home each day to enjoy Sunset Happy Hour from our own private porch and pool. Watching the cruise ships and barges along the port was truly a treat! Thank you again!!!

Great first time in St. Maarten

We were very happy with our stay at this property. The views are so much nicer in person (not that they are bad in pictures, it's just that amazing when you are there). The property is spacious, and well equipped. I would recommend getting a rental car though, I'm not sure getting taxi's to/from this location would be feasible unless you didn't plan on venturing out often. Our kids really enjoyed the pool each day. Also, the wifi connection is great, for those like us where a good internet connect is vital. Communication with the owners was also great, and they went above and beyond resolving a minor issue we had during our stay. We would definitely recommend staying at this property and will likely return if we go back to St. Maarten in the future.

Gorgeous getaway

The house is spectacular. Very clean, private and with great views. The kitchen is fully stocked. Very quiet, and peaceful. The bugs do get bad when the wind is not there, but bug spray takes care of that. The property manager, Chris is so friendly and responsive. We went with my in-laws who were taking a cab to the property, the cab drivers do not know how to get here. This happened 2 more times on our stay. Make sure you know the address and can find it on google maps. Chesterfields restaurant is a great landmark before you turn off the main road.

Outstanding Venue

My wife and I have stayed at VistaRoyale under previous ownership at least twice before. The new owners have completely refurbished the property which, by itself, is impressively located above the Port of St. Maarten. The unit has new appliances and everything we needed. All appliances, tvs, and air conditioners were working (unlike the "previous administration"), and served us well. We met the owners who were very hospitable and eager to make sure we were happy with everything. Their property manager too was kind and responsive. We decided to return to this villa because of the enticing view of the harbor and we were not disappointed. This vacation venue and its new owners have our enthusiastic endorsement.

Excellent view, great outdoor space, good location

Enjoyed the experience and would recommend to family. The views are fantastic. There's continuous port activity immediately below which we found interesting, but may or may not be desirable to others. Recently updated. Very safe area and an easy ride down the hill to Phillipsburg. Had 2 issues and one was resolved quickly. The other was the wifi which the property manager attempted to fix, but no luck. He thought it might be a service provider issue, but no ultimate resolution. Other than not being able to complete work that I needed to get done, the place was a great pick for us.

Post Card Views of St. Maarten

First we would like to say that the owner of this property was very nice to us. We first booked this in 2020. Since the pandemic, we had to cancel our plans to travel. The owner let us postpone that travel date to 2021 with no extra charges. She even helped us rebook. WOW! The property looks like the pictures that were posted. For those who are visiting this island for the first time. The owner sent us an information package. It included how to get to the property by rental car. It also included a map of the island and general info concerning how the locals drive and needed phone numbers. The property was clean and a pleasure to stay at. On the pictures you can see that the property is on a mountain side. So you will be driving up and down some steep inclines. As for the views from the property. Bring your camera. Nice. The kitchen has everything you need to cook any meals or make drinks. It was a surprise that some drinks were left there. We left our drinks there too. If you need music. The stereo is blue tooth. There are nearby markets to buy vittles and drinks. The bedrooms were clean and spacious. The living area was nice and it gives a tropical feeling. There is a washer/dryer there and board games to play for the down time. The pool overlooks the ocean and downtown Phillipsburg. The night lights on the island are worth the views. So again bring your camera and a friend to enjoy this beautiful property.

It wasn't until we saw Vista Royale did we immediately decide that this was going to be our paradise. While we work to make this our home we wish to share it with others so you to can find paradise.

This property is unique in that you can enjoy all that the island has to offer yet still have a serene place to come and relax. It is away from the hustle and bustle yet close enough to be within minutes of the action. At the end of a day at the beach to sit and enjoy a cocktail and the spectacular views makes this a real gem.
