Beautiful Refurbished Saltwater Pool. One-half mile walk to Vanderbilt Beach

My favorite thing about this house is that it is very walkable. It is 5 houses away from Vanderbilt Drive and one half mile to Vanderbilt beach. It has high ceilings and beachy colors. There are plenty of pillows and extra sheets for all beds. The pool is wonderful and surrounded by plants. It has just been converted to saltwater.

1700 square foot home with vaulted ceilings, granite counter tops in kitchen and baths. Open floor plan with bar with stools, dining area for 6, spacious master bedroom with walk-in closet and access to lanai. The beautiful white kitchen is fully equipped with a variety of fry pans, pots of every size (largest ones above the refrigerator) and bakeware galore. The pantry is also stocked with spices. The pool is surrounded by plants and is private. Internet and WIFI available. There is a CD player on lanai. Master bedroom and twin bedroom are equipped with a 42" flat screen TV and living room have 60' flat screen TV and second bedroom has a 24' flat screen TV.

The Mercato is one mile away as is Publix, CVS, many restaurants and shopping. Downtown Naples is about 10 miles away and is worth the trip. It is known for its art festivals, music festivals and wonderful choices in restaurants and shopping. There is a park for children on Vanderbilt Drive. It is behind the tennist courts and there is public parking there. Also there is a Library on Vanderbilt Beach Road.

Wonderful

Great great stay! The home is wonderful, fantastic pool, nice kitchen that’s easy to cook in. Nice location ten minute walk to the beach. To save money on parking I would drive the family to the beach, drop them off, then ride one of the provided bikes to the beach and lock it on the bike rack. It’s a fifteen minute drive to two very nice farmers markets, one on Saturday the other on Sunday. We enjoyed our stay immensely!

Home Away from Home

My husband and I have been traveling to Florida for a number of years. We look for location, price, and amenities. This house had all three. The location was perfect for us. Walking distance to the beach, shopping and restaurants. Good neighborhood. And a great plus, it is close to Mercato. The house was well stocked, clean, and very comfortable. The pool was an added feature. We stayed 10 days. It felt like a home away from home. I highly recommend this rental!!!

Wonderful holiday

We absolutely loved our stay. The house is clean, comfortable and well appointed. The decor is airy and "beachy" and the pool well-tended. The location is great - very convenient to the beach and shopping. The Atkins have thought of every detail and the result is delightful!

Had very low key and relaxing stay, visited several nature preserves, weather didn’t disappoint!The only slight minus (very slight): living room furniture

Home Away from Home

Choosing the right vacation home is challenging. I prefer homes that seem as though they are lived in - homes that include nice touches like cozy throw blankets, soft towels, non-rusty beach chairs, lots of hangers, Samsung TVs with local cable, and interesting art work. The things that are not visible from a few photos…Barbara’s house offered that and more including 4 family bikes with bike locks. The fully encased pool is not your standard rental pool. It was nicely landscaped (although temporarily surrounded by 6 houses being constructed) and has (I think) a 6’ deep end with plenty of room for the pool floats. There is also a nice covered sitting area separate from pool deck equipped with an outdoor dining table and chairs The interior of the home is spacious with a very large master bedroom and walk in closet. The kitchen was fully stocked with a coffee maker and Keurig. Can’t speak to the supply of pots and pans as we didn’t cook (Naples has tons of good restaurants so no need to cook). Tons of sheets, towels, and pillows. Great location just a few blocks from the beach (easy walk). Close to Mercato, Publix, and Whole Foods. 15-20 minute ride to downtown depending on traffic. I highly recommend staying here. The only drawback was the construction which can’t be avoided in this area (lots of tear downs). Construction is only during the weekday (7:30-5:00) when most people are away from a rental house. Would definitely stay again. Felt like being at a friend’s house.

Spring getaway from the cold!

Barb’s place was perfect! We had a wonderful stay! Amazing proximity to the beach! The house was fully stocked with all the beach gear you could want - beach chairs, umbrellas, coolers, beach toys, etc. Inside the kitchen was fully stocked with every cooling gadget and utensil you would ever need. Spices and cooking items were also fully stocked. The pool and covered patio were perfect as well! My family would highly recommend!

Fun family vacation

The rental is really beautiful. There is not one thing missing from the kitchen (except a keurig) but a regular coffee pot is there so it worked. All beach items are provided, plenty of towels and lots of bedding. The house is laid out really well and the pool is not only large but I also believe to be just about 6’ deep. As of 4/2023 it seems there eventually will be a lot of construction (new houses) going up next to, across from, and directly behind the house so I suggest checking with Barbara before booking as she is a wonderful host and answered any question I had right away. I recommend this house for anyone, even families with littles, there aren’t nick nacks laying around and things to worry about and the sliding door to the pool isn’t hard for an adult but would take some serious effort for a toddler to open, I would even go out and say it’s almost baby proofed. We had a very relaxing time and once we got there, aside from food, everything was thought of and readily available. Given the chance, I would certainly stay here again.

Beautiful and Relaxing

Perfect location, beautiful decor, lovely pool and lanai. I would stay again. Barb was excellent host. Enjoyed walking to beach. Everything else we did was within easy walking or driving distance. Quiet neighborhood.

We loved it!

Our favorite house yet! We loved the location. It was convenient to everything we needed. We loved being walking distance to Vanderbilt beach, but also easy, short driving to all our other favorite beaches. The shopping nearby couldn’t have been more convenient. The house was the best equipped house we’ve ever stayed in and without a doubt the cleanest. All of us commented that the beds and pillows were better than our beds at home! We highly recommend this home!

Great Home!

First time visiting the Vanderbilt Beach area and loved it! This home was so convenient to spending time at the beach and getting to all of the other activities that Naples has to offer. The layout of the home was so nice for our family including a baby. The owner had several key baby items and lots of beach gear and bikes for the adults. Beds were very comfortable and lots of storage for luggage and other personal items, kitchen was fully stocked with cookware and utensils, living room had very cozy furniture, and it was really helpful to have a washer and dryer for our stay. We used the outdoor patio a lot and enjoyed having a pool as well. The owner was so nice and very responsive when we had any issue. Highly recommend this rental!

Great winter escape

We had a wonderful stay in this lovely and very clean home. The pool was awesome and we could easily walk to the beach. Everything we needed was right there and the owners were very responsive to the couple of questions we had.

Beach Escape

We really enjoyed our stay. The place was super clean and beautiful. There is plenty of space to spread out and the high ceilings make it feel even bigger. The kitchen has everything you will ever need. We cooked almost every night and appreciated all the pots, pans and kitchen amenities. The location is key close to the beach so you can walk or ride the bikes which we did every morning. The pool was really clean and a nice perk. Barb is very responsive and check in is a breeze. We will be back!

Thanksgiving Stay

We enjoyed this vacation home. The location is wonderful. We enjoyed riding the bikes to the beach to watch the sunset. The house has everything you would need. We hope to stay there again.

A special home for a stressful vacation

This was a vacation like no other with the pandemic virus. But this lovely home and surroundings were wonderful. The house was extremely comfortable and outfitted with every thing one would need while self quarantining. The home was spotless, very light and airy. The pool area was our sanctuary. Walking distance to the beach; especially nice when we could still walk to the beach for the sunsets. The home is in a nice quiet neighborhood. We were very happy there.

It is Beautiful

We have rented up and down the East Coast over the years. This home, by far was truly like being in my own home. From the minute we walked in;we knew this was going to be comfortable and it truly is. Tastefully decorated, comfortable furniture & beds, incredible pillows, soft towels and plenty of them, lovingly maintained. Everything was there that we needed. Fully stocked kitchen with premium tableware, dinnerware, staples and condiments! The location excellent for everything! And after a hard day at the beach, fishing or whatever you go to Naples to do; it was such a pleasure to come home and dip in the pool! The homeowners are very pleasant and wonderful to work with! I am a retired real estate agent, so believe me when I tell you....you won't want to leave; the property is that nice.

Perfect Vacation!

We throughly enjoyed our 2 weeks in this beautiful modern, well equipped home. Barb was very gracious and helpful. The location was perfect: Less than a 1/2 mile easy walk to gorgeous Vanderbilt Beach. Only a mile to the Mercato and Tamiami Trail. We loved riding the bikes around. We had everything we needed, from a heated pool, comfortable furniture, and HDTV to a spacious master bedroom with king bed.

Absolute Perfect Home for a Perfect Vacation

We traveled to Naples with our two small daughters for a three week vacation to be near close friends. I can not rave enough about how perfect this home was and what a difference it made to our comfort and enjoyment! At first glance the home is very open and spacious, beautifully painted in soft soothing colors. It is very well equipped in terms of kitchen cookware, much more than a 'typical' rental would have. The whole house had a very warm and inviting feeling and made for a cozy and special Christmas away from home. Barb was amazing to work with, very attentive and responsive. The location is amazing. If you are looking for a hassle-free location to be able to enjoy everything that Naples has to offer this is perfect. We walked to the beach often, went for nice runs around the neighborhood, rented bikes, our girls improved leaps and bounds in their ability and confidence in swimming in a pool, toured downtown Naples and so much more. Thank you Barb for a very memorable home to call home, if only for three weeks. We hope to return soon!

Beautiful, nicely located home near the beach.

my wife and I have been spending part of our winters in Florida for the last thirteen years, renting this house for the last eight years for either 2 or 3 months each year. We truly love this house with all of its amenities and the only reason for not renting again is that we purchased our own condo. This house was completed remodeled three years ago and is absolutely beautiful with many upgrades including new marble counter tops and bathroom vanity tops. The floor is new tile and the entire inside was newly painted. The pool is very nice and well kept with nice furniture. The location of this house is in a quite neighborhood near shops and restaurants and close to the beach, a short walking distance which we did nearly every day. For us this truly was our second home even though we did not own it. It truly is a good rental.

Home Away From Home

Location, location, location! Being able to walk to Vanderbilt Beach (adjacent to the Ritz Carlton) makes this totally renovated 3 BR, 2 bath home the perfect Florida getaway. Just a few more blocks to shopping, restaurants and all the amenities of US 41 create an ideal way to get away, but still be close to all you need and want in town. This rental has all the comforts of home and more! It is beautifully landscaped with a private, screened-in pool with an adjacent porch that gives adults a convenient way to supervise children while enjoying sun or shade. It was the perfect place to sip our morning coffee or have a quiet lunch. The full open kitchen adjoining the living/dining area is bright and airy with lots of natural light and makes entertainment enjoyable for all. The large dining room table makes family dining so convenient, and the bar-type counter in the kitchen was perfect too!! It is just such a comfortable and pleasant place to stay!!! All new appliances in the modern kitchen are complemented by new appliances in the separate laundry room. The large master bedroom has a private bath while the guest room uses the adjacent bath. A separate den has a sleeper sofa for additional guests. A large garage is available for additional storage of water toys, which are supplied, and for personal property. The owners are wonderful, very helpful and made us feel so welcome. We will definitely be coming back to this great home and would and have recommended it to our friends. Close to everything, far from the hustle in a quiet, residential neighborhood, this is a well-cared for and spotless home-away-from-home, not just a rental.

A perfect house for a perfect beach vacation!

My family has stayed at this house several times and absolutely love it! It's a beautiful house - very spacious, bright, airy and nicely decorated. The beds are very comfortable, as are the couches (lots of reclining seats, perfect for watching movies!). We especially love the pool and the area surrounding - perfect for relaxing in the sun and barbecuing. The landscaping gives the pool area such a lovely tropical feel. The neighborhood is very nice, and most importantly, it's walking distance to a beautiful beach with sugar sand and calm water with gorgeous sunsets! (If you prefer to drive, lots of close parking to beach). Lots of restaurants and shopping close to the property. My young children had a blast here. The owners are so nice, and so easy to work with. Thank you Barb and Dave for such lovely memories and happy vacations!

My husband Dave and I fell in love with Naples in 1999. We bought our first home on a golf course and quickly discovered that we were GULF people and not GOLF people. We live in Pittsburgh and love it, but always look forward to coming to Naples and paradise.

We chose this house mainly for the location. We loved the neighborhood and we were so close to the beach. There is a freedom to be able to walk or bike to the beach without worrying about parking.

We had a new pool cage installed October, 2018.

Our house suffered water damage in 2011. Because of that it has been completely redone from the tile floor up and it feels like a new home with updated kitchen and bathrooms. Pool has a southern exposure and we are closer than most homes in Naples Park to the beach and beautiful gulf waters.

There is a car in the garage.
