Our galley kitchen boasts a sleek design with ample storage and easy-to-access drawers. It's equipped with all the modern appliances you need, including a large fridge with a water and ice dispenser, a 5-burner stove, and a convection oven. The studio is equipped with small appliances like an Instant Pot, rice cooker, blender, and coffee machine for your convenience. Set your table with tropical melamine tableware, and Yeti mugs to keep your drinks hot or cold. Preparing delicious meals during your stay has never been easier or more enjoyable!

The studio features a king-size bed that can be separated into two twin beds, providing flexibility for your stay. A large armoire with a safe offers ample storage, and the sitting area includes a large Chesterfield sofa and a dining table for four. The bathroom has a sliding barn door, a tiled floor, and a refreshing rain shower, with hot water available in all sinks and the shower.

The studio features keyless entry for your convenience. Step outside to the inviting front patio, where a pub table with swivel stools and an Adirondack chair await, perfect for unwinding. Our garden is a haven for nature lovers, attracting hummingbirds, bananaquits, and butterflies. "Kas di Alegria" means "House of Happiness" in the local Papiamentu language, and we’re sure you’ll find happiness here too!

At Kas di Alegria, we provide all the amenities you need for an unforgettable stay. We have a dunk tank and private outdoor lockers to store your wet snorkel & dive gear, an outdoor shower to rinse the sand off, and private parking. Cook up a feast in the outdoor kitchen with a BBQ gas grill and sink, and gather around the communal table for shared meals. Plus, there's a hammock for ultimate relaxation.

Lovely Studio Apartment with 5-star Owners!

The apartment is in a small gated complex with a total of 4 or 5 units, an outdoor grill area and seating areas. There are outside storage lockers for dive gear, surf boards, etc along with a rinse tank which is really great for not tracking loads of sand indoors. The location is absolutely perfect. It is about a half block walk to the oceanfront and excellent snorkeling, and an easy 10 minute walk into town for dinners. The location is both quiet at night, and at the same time accessible to town. The owners were super helpful with suggestions for dive operations, ultimately connecting us with an amazing local dive instructor, making dinner reservations on our behalf, and showing us the local places to buy fresh fish (literally fresh off the boat!). We can't wait to go back!

Another GREAT Stay at Treasure By The Sea Bonaire!

This was my sixth consecutive stay and I was able to stay in the new luxurious studio, Kas di Alegria. My friend & I snorkeled all around the island including the remote areas that our hosts, Chris & Su, told us about. Of course, those sites are amazing, but the snorkeling is wonderful right in front of Treasure By The Sea! You can see turtles, eels, sea urchins, parrotfish, trunkfish, filefish, pufferfish, tarpons, octopus, rays, an occasional ocean trigger fish and lots of juveniles. Every time I come, I can see that the resort is even more beautiful with additional palm trees and flowers which bring many birds. We love the new outdoor shower and the find the dunk tank & dive lockers so convenient to store our wet gear. The studio is my new favorite house! Has all the modern appliances (even more so than I have at home!) and is very comfortable to be in – love the furniture! We used the bbq at the outdoor kitchen & ate al fresco on our pub table since the weather is so nice. The hammocks out back are perfect for an afternoon nap. Chris makes a delicious passion fruit mojito! Every time I come there, I find that there are just so many things on the island that I didn’t get to do – that is why I keep coming back!

5 Star Stay

We recently spent a week at Kas di Alegria. The studio apartment is the perfect size for two and is modern, clean, and beautifully furnished. The kitchen is well-equipped for preparing your own meals. We enjoyed having an outdoor freshwater dunk tank to rinse our gear and our own dive locker. The location of the studio apartment is ideal - just a minute or two to the water, less than 5 minutes to the dive shop, and about 5-10 minutes to restaurants downtown. The owners, Chris and Su, were incredibly helpful and offered advice on local restaurants and dive spots. We followed their recommendations several times and were not disappointed. We rented one of their trucks and enjoyed the ease of pick-up, drop-off, and having our own parking space. We would return in an instant.

Loved the studio!

My husband and I recently spent three weeks in the new studio at Treasure By The Sea. At first I wasn't sure if I would like the studio compared to having a separate bedroom, but I discovered I actually preferred it! There's something about the simplicity of staying in a studio while on vacation that seems to make sense. The unit is tastefully decorated and has a high vaulted ceiling with transom window at the back that allows lots of light and makes the space feel open and airy. A large ceiling fan does a great job of keeping things cool even without turning on the AC. The bathroom is very spacious with a large glassed in shower and top of the line finishings and is separated from the sleeping area by a cool sliding barn-style door. The sleeping area includes a comfortable queen bed, armoire and bedside tables with reading lamps. The fully equipped kitchen has new appliances including a gas range, dishwasher and fridge that dispenses water and ice - crushed or cubed! Table and chairs are available for indoor eating, but we ate most meals at the outside patio table. The property has a shared outdoor kitchen and barbecue where we could cook and clean up al fresco if we preferred. We took advantage of the on-site dive/snorkel gear rinse tank and lockers as well as the free use of bicycles for excursions into town. The location is great as it's close enough to walk to town and also very close to the ocean where we've experienced great snorkeling. There are many interesting things to see in the crystal clear water, including turtles, octopus and eagle rays! Su and Chris are excellent hosts and went out of their way to ensure we had a great experience on the island. We highly recommend the studio at Treasure By The Sea!

We avoid single-use plastics and encourage our guests to do the same by bringing metal water bottles to refill with Bonaire’s delicious desalinized water.
Bonaire’s electricity comes from a combination of windmills, solar power, and generators. We ask our guests to help conserve energy by turning off all electricity when leaving the house.

To ensure a fresh and natural experience, bedding and towels are hung on the clothesline and dried in the sunshine. We avoid using perfumes or deodorants in our laundry, keeping our guest houses allergen-free.
