Lavender Cottage with Pool Between Countryside and Sea

Enjoy the absolute tranquility of the marshes while being just 30 minutes from the vast ocean beaches and the majestic forests of Vendée.



Our cottage, located in a protected Natura 2000 area, offers a unique setting on 2 hectares between woods and canals. Le Bas Marais is in the Marais Poitevin in southern Vendée.



This bright cottage for 5 guests features large glass doors opening onto the garden and canal. The fully equipped kitchen includes a dishwasher, washing machine, electric oven, and microwave, and opens onto the living room with TV. There is one bedroom with a double bed, another with a bunk bed (double below, single above), and a spacious bathroom.



Adjoining other cottages, each has its own private garden at the back, separated by shrubs, with a terrace, barbecue, outdoor furniture, and sun loungers facing the canal.



The heated, secure pool is open from mid-May to late September, weather permitting, from 9:30 a.m. to 9 p.m.



Set off from your cottage for a boat ride on the Canal des Hollandais.



For your leisure, you'll find outdoor games: football, badminton, ping pong, volleyball, darts, swing, slide, and Molkky.



Bicycles for all ages are available. Fishing enthusiasts are welcome—please bring your own gear.

Pets are not allowed.



Bed linen and towels are not included but can be reserved in advance, with beds made for your arrival. Baby essentials are provided free of charge on request (made-up cot, high chair, baby bath).



A cleaning service is available for an extra fee. Underfloor electric heating is available for an extra fee. Some consumables are provided free of charge.
