Across 8 acre park with kids Playground, Sand Volleyball, stay here and practice directly across the street, during tournaments. One Volleyball at each house to use. Teams love this place! Stay here when participating in nearby events. (no parties) The Old Pompano area is a hidden local treasure. One of the LARGEST pompano Vacation Rental properties, 3/4 acre. 32,000 sq ft of land.14 real beds. House #1, 5 bed 5 bath beauty has large kitchen, 2 dining areas, 2 patios, the Second house has 3 bedrooms, 2 baths. Homes are on 4 lots, sits on 3/4 acre of land. The 2 homes are next door to each other. Charming Private walkway between the 2 homes near mango tree. Wedding guests can stay here, get married nearby at Sample McDougald house, walk to homes after the wedding. American Legion and Woman's club have venues also. Outside smoking is fine, we do not allow any type of smoking inside the homes or screened porch. No pool Needed when your 2 miles from the ocean. Take a dip into newer state of the art, Updated City pool 6 blocks blocks away. Sands hotel marina has restaurant, located on intracoastal, watch the yachts go by as your enjoying lunch or dinner. Oceanic Restaurant on the ocean is a Must see! Lucky Fish Tiki bar/restaurant is next door, same company. Good food. Amazing ocean views from these awesome restaurants. Next to the pier. Thanksgiving Get-away

This was our second time at these properties and as before we had a great time. The two houses accommodate 19 very comfortably and the amenities are above what is required. The owners could not be nicer or more informative about the area.

Great Place to Stay

Went down to FL with a group of eight golfers. The two homes worked out great. They provided plenty of room, were clean, had updated kitchens, and the beds were comfortable. The backyard at the larger home is a terrific place to sit outside, grill, have a few beers and relax. Looking forward to coming back next year!

What a GREAT property!

Lori and Ed are fantastic hosts! The property was exactly as advertised! The houses were perfect for our group of 12. The houses were stocked with all things needed (toilet paper, towels, paper towels, soap, water bottles etc). I highly recommend this property for large groups. Great and safe location as well! Easy drive to the beach, restaurants and downtown areas. Will definitely book again if going back to that area!

Awesome and Relaxing Property

We normally stay on the beach but decided to try a location off the beach. This place was everything we wanted. Great location. Easy trip to the beach, a park across the street, swimming pool and park about 5-7 minutes, and multiple types of restaurants are 10-20 minutes away. The back yard and porches make for a very relaxing atmosphere while just hanging around the place. When we return we will check this property first for availability.

Friends golf weekend 2023

Once again, everything about our stay was excellent. The properties were clean, spacious, and conveniently located for our weekend plans. Spacious and Comfortable

Our softball teams' fourth stay at this great double house was again very enjoyable. Well stocked with kitchenware and plenty of comfy options to be together as a large group or in smaller groups simultaneously. Some of us had wives with us who also had a great time. Lori & Ed were super helpful as usual with restaurant recommendations and making sure that we had what we needed. See you again next year!

Pompano Golf Week

Very nice, large, spacious multi bedroom multi bath houses. Multiple spacious outside gathering areas made for a great place to hangout after a day in the sun. 10 guys on a 5 day golf trip, woke up refreshed every day in a nice neighborhood that is convenient to the Pompano Beach vibe and all of the greater Ft Lauderdale golf community. Never drove more than 30 minutes. Lori is a great host that made sure we had everything we needed and it is always nice to be in a place that is fully provisioned so you arenā€™t looking for bath and paper products in the 2nd day. We will stay again!

I love to see tourists that want to visit this tropical oasis of South Florida. I rented vacation properties and enjoyed it so much, I thought I would enjoy doing it myself.

I met the owner in 2005, and was so amazed at the size, and great location across from park, and the ability to have so much land. A few years later it came up for sale, it was truly meant to be. One of areas largest properties, truly a rare bird. I purchased the house next door in 2015 to make it even bigger. Visit the Old Pompano neighborhood, and you will not want to leave.

So many areas to relax in. such a big property, you will love it. for the money, best deal in town. Owner takes pride in the homes. Nice linens, nice bedding. so many guests from over 12 countries have enjoyed these homes. located in the hidden Old Pompano area, a neighborhood that reminds you of old South Florida, not the concrete canyon that is miles away. Life is about the journey, start it here!
