The Tree House - Family Friendly, Great Yard, Waterfront

You'll first arrive by driving over a bridge that brings you to your own private island neighborhood. Large oaks and cypress trees lined the perimeter of the large yard and 7 private springs. The house is situated on 2 lots, with a level shaded yard making it a welcome spot for families and friends to relax.

You will be greeted by a cheerful screened porch and a breathtaking view as you open the front door into the great room, featuring hand-hewed woodwork. The main part of the home has an open floor plan, flowing seamlessly between the great room and dining room (seats 8-10 people). Connected to the dining room is the kitchen, with meticulously handmade cabinetry, updated appliances, large pantry and powder room. In the evening, retreat to watch the sunset on the back porch with extensive seating area and look out tower for the sunsets.

The Master retreat features an ensuite master bath and stunning natural views. The other two bedrooms are located on the other side of the house with a shared full bath.

The area surrounding our river house is untouched Florida with spring-fed rivers, great fishing and bountiful lakes. Hike through unspoiled forests, go scalloping or explore our parks and attractions! Paddling Paradise. Exciting Water Activities. Outdoor Adventures. Meet A Manatee. So many activities to do.

The Tree House is a Modern, Custom Built, Stilt Home on King's Bay, Wood Beam Ceilings, 12 x 50 ft. Screen Porch, 3 Bedroom, 2 Bath. Three story tower to view sunsets, wildlife and manatees. Floating dock for your boat or use house kayaks. Fishing and swimming in springs surrounded by the property. Gas grill, games, great gourmet cooking kitchen with modern appliances. This is a great home to relax and enjoy your family and nature.

Winter Getaway

We thoroughly enjoyed "The Tree House!" You actually feel like you are in a tree house... the house and property surpassed our expectations. The house is clean and very well equipped with anything you may need. The kitchen is probably the most well equipped as far as a vacation rental that we have stayed in! The house is in a very friendly and quiet little neighborhood where we enjoyed meeting several of the neighbors. We brought our boat and kept it at the dock behind the house which is always a great perk! John was very responsive with any questions had. We will definitely be coming back!

What a great place for a family getaway! Beautiful house right on the water.

This was a perfect vacation for us! John the owner, was always a phone call away, not that we needed to call as the house had everything you could need. You felt like you walked into your own house! The kitchen had everything from pots and pans and lots of dishes but more importantly, it was well stocked with spices, oil, all the necessities you needed. I have been in houses before where you had to buy even the basics, but not here! There was laundry detergent, soap, shampoo, extra everything. I think people are so comfortable and appreciative to find such a well stocked house, that they leave extras as well for the next guest. The yard was huge. We took our boat and docked it right there. Easy to get in and out, everything is very well maintained. Kayaks were at the property and our kids lived in them. Great screened in porch and crows nest for a sunset view. Everything was as described and I would highly recommend this property. Absolutely a great vacation!

Perfect location to enjoy Crystal River

The house location on its own private spring was simply magical. The manatee were literally in our backyard and the house was equipped with kayaks so that we could take the kids directly over to several other islands.

Nice place

This home is a nice comfortable place to spend time with loved ones. If you are thinking of staying in Crystal River it is a great place to stay and avoid the hectic, stressful, crowded and pricey local hotels.

Great location

Great week/great location/perfect if your bringing a boat. Bbq grill and oven were dirty. A/c struggled to keep up in the heat of the day. Kitchen/cooking utensils perfect. Had a great week

River Ranch Delights!

The River Ranch in Crystal River was delightful and accurately reflected in photos. The home is beautifully decorated, very clean and well maintained. The property is located in a neighborhood but felt very private. We have been renting homes in CR for the past 8 years during scallop season and this was by far the cleanest, nicest place we have rented. We shared the home with another family and it easily accommodated our 2 families along with 2 boats. The bunk room was perfect for all the children. The kitchen is a cooks delight and equipped with everything you need for preparing meals. This includes plenty of pots, pans, utensils, glassware (including wine glasses) and updated appliances. Would suggest some bar stoles at island counter. The large covered screened porch was perfect for relaxing at the end of a long day on the water and kept the no-see-ums mosquito's out while the ceiling fans made it very pleasant. Navigating to the home by boat was a bit challenging at first but figured it out with help from friendly neighbors. The owners checked in to make sure everything was going well during our stay and promptly returned all deposit monies. The only complaint was not being allowed as outlined in contract to clean our scallops catch on property. A small inconvenience but not a deal breaker. I would definitely recommend this property and love to return to the River Ranch again.
