ABOUT THE HOUSE

This 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom house has all the amenities that you'd find at home, plus 2 dedicated parking spots right outside the front door.

In the kitchen you’ll find granite countertops and a full suite of appliances, including a gas range. Sit down to home-cooked meals either inside, or cook out on the gas grill and dine alfresco on the patio table.

Opt for a quiet night in and kick back on the comfortable couch in the living room to watch a movie on the 65” flat-screen TV.

BEDROOMS & BATHS

With three bedrooms, the home sleeps seven comfortably. After a day in the sun, sleep like a baby in the master bedroom, which is furnished with a California King bed, and large walk-in closet. The en-suite bathroom has a tub/shower combination with glass door.

The second bedroom has a queen-size bed, featuring colorful marine décor, the third bedroom is furnished with a twin-over-full bunk bed.

A full guest bathroom offers extra space with a sink and tub/shower combination.

EXTRA AMENITIES & MORE DETAILS

Guest amenities include dedicated parking for two cars, complimentary Wi-Fi, Direct TV, and a laundry with washer/dryer, plus air conditioning for the unexpected heat wave.

THE LOCATION

The house is 4 blocks from Carlsbad State Beach. It takes about a minute in the car or 10 minutes to walk. It is one exit to Legoland and less than 1/2 hour to the San Diego Zoo, Seaworld, or the San Diego Wild Animal Park. Disneyland is about an hour away. The house is fully furnished with all the cooking/eating utensils you would need. Beach towels, beach chairs, beach umbrella, sand toys, bogey boards are at the house for you to use. We also have a pack-n-play and high chair available upon request. We own the identical house next door. The other listing is 688965

This is a great place to stay in Carlsbad because the location is close to everything. Jim was good about communicating almost instantly, and was super helpful, both with advice & accommodating requests. The house has an ideal layout & was very clean. The beds are comfortable & the kitchen has plenty of everything one could wish for. We would love to return some day.

Jim (host) is fantastic. Although this rental served our needs and the location is great. The home is not “New” one recommendation it would be. Supply tissue and make sure your included supplies are available for use. Great place!

Great location

Our family loved the location. Easy access to the freeway as well as to Carlsbad beaches and the Carlsbad Village. The house was perfect for our family of four! We will be back!

Very family oriented, the neighborhood is very nice, quite and location a short drive to the beach and Lego land. Property was well maintained, couldn’t ask for anything better. On behalf of our 3 generations of family members that stayed here, I’m glad we did.

Great place.

We came down for a double funeral which is not the best reason for SoCal BUT having this great house to come home to made the stay so much nicer. My kids enjoyed having their rooms and of course we loved the master. The kitchen is very well stocked and the washer/dryer was a huge plus. Oh also the ac was a nice bonus. Thank you thank you.

Was a bit far to the beach with small children. The wagon was a big help

Clean and a Great Location!

Our family of five had a great stay at this Carlsbad property. Prior to our arrival, the owner sent us a list of restaurants, grocery stores, and things to do, which was extremely helpful. The house had everything we needed and was close to the beach and shops in town. The owner went above and beyond when he arranged for my son's forgotten stuffed animal to be mailed to us. I definitely recommend this property!

Pretty good

Was nice and clean. The Internet is horrible and the parking is very hard and there was no mention of an elementary school right across the street. It was conveniently located and cozy but the accommodations listed did not add up for example we were unable to get wifi and the owner never told us it was only accessible in the living room...in which we couldn't even connect there either. The parking was so tight . It's a good place to stay if you are limited on options and don't need internet. Don't think it was worth price at all.

I'm sorry that you weren't able to access the wifi on your vacation. I have had similar problems at my own home from time to time, so I know how frustrating that would be. I have been thinking about it a lot and why the internet wasn't working for you. I sent someone out to check the internet to trouble shoot and see what was wrong. As it turns out, the internet got unplugged and that's why it wasn't visible to you. I know this doesn't help you now, but it is really important to us because we want everyone to have an enjoyable stay at our vacation rental and this hasn't happened before. To clarify our parking, we have two dedicated parking spaces on the driveway and one in the garage as well as plenty of parking on the street.

Lovely rental

The rental had everything we needed for our family beach vacation. I especially appreciated all the beach toys, chairs, umbrellas, wagon, etc that we were able to use. The place was clean and comfortable and the owner very responsive. Highly recommend!

Nice stay and convenient location

Convenient location- can walk to beach or downtown shops and restaurants in Carlsbad. Also close to highway for other trips. We appreciated the 2 bathrooms and 3 bedrooms for our group. Furnishings were great, although the mattress in the master probably needs to be replaced. (A bit saggy and squeaky.)

Thanksgiving get away

So happy we found this place in one of our favorite towns. Close drive to the beach and great food. Can’t beat 75 degrees in November. Comfortable beds and furniture. Plenty of room for 5 of us.

Great Carlsbad Location

What a great rental. Very clean, comfortable, and very close to everything. Beach, Shops, and all the great restaraunts are within a 5 minute drive or 10 minute walk.

I'm glad you found it an easy walk to the beach. We walk to the beach daily, and for sunset too. It takes us about 11 minutes to walk to the beach.

Spacious house

This house was great and had a lot of space for our family of 6. When we arrived the refrigerator door handle had crusty stuff on it as well as the kitchen faucet. Once I cleaned those it was fine. In this COVID environment it made me doubtful that high-touch areas were actually cleaned and disinfected. After our first day at the beach I went to throw a load of beach towels in the washing machine and it was full of wet cleaning rags and gloves. Gross! The bedrooms are large which was very nice. And having 2 bathrooms was great after spending a day at the beach. The walk is a little long, but it is doable, even with kids.

Nice big rooms

We enjoyed this property very much. The rooms were a good size and fit our two families comfortably. There were a lot of great beach toys, chairs, a cooler on wheels, and beach towels that made our stay more enjoyable. They also had some great children’s books in the drawers. The walk to the beach was about 15-20 minutes with children. Loved that they had air conditioning!

This place was the perfect size, location, etc. There was plenty of information on the house and area provided in advance. We really enjoyed our stay and the cozy feel of the house. We'll be back for sure!

The 4th in Carlsbad

Our family had a wonderful week in Carlsbad. The home was clean, well equipped and exactly as described. We got our steps in walking to the beach and village, but the weather was wonderful.

Great location, close to everything: Carlsbad State Beach, Legoland, Carlsbad Village. Short drive to the San Diego Zoo, Seaworld, San Diego Wild Animal Park. Plus, only an hour drive to Disneyland. A perfect central location for a Southern California family vacation.

We also have air conditioning. The weather is generally mild, near the beach, but there is always a heat wave. You never know what week it will be. We installed Air conditioning for this reason that we want you to be comfortable.
