Summary:
Sit back and relax - our guesthouse is located in direct neighborhood to the Moselle Thermal Spa (1x entry is included) in the Kautenbach valley. Our house is surrounded by babbling brooks and bubbling springs. The showers use the spring water from the same thermal spring used at the Mosel Spa. At just a short hop from the lively town center our house is located at the transition form the vinyards to the dense forest and rocky landscape an ideal place to to unwind in nature and Spa relaxation.
The Space:
This open plan apartment unites the fuly equipped kitchen with the dining area and spacious living room. The newly reovated bathroom has a thermal spring water shower.
The bedroom has a king size bed (180x200 cm), a spacious wardrobe and a desk for tranquil working.
Two more guests can sleep on the pull out sofa.
Guest Access:
The garden and court yard can be used with other guests. Free private parking spaces are provided in front of the building. A closed garage (extra fees apply) and another parking area behind the house are available by request.
In the basement there is the washer room which is available for free to all our guests.
The apartment is located on the ground floor and has its access through the hall of the building.
The Neighborhood:
The vacation apartment promises pure relaxation: wellness at the Moselle thermal spa, which is within sight, or hiking to the mythical Wildstein (natural monument) or on the elves path through the Trarbacher Schweiz. A longer walk or a short drive takes you to the town center of Traben-Trarbach, which, unlike many neighboring towns, has dedicated itself to relaxed tourism with its many Art Nouveau buildings. A boat trip on the Moselle completes the deceleration.
Getting Around:
Right next to our building is a bus stop ("Thermalbäder") on the bus line to the town center and through the Kautenbach valley (every hour approximately on labor days during daytime).
Other Things to Note:
The fineprint is always boring, so we want to keep it short and simple in order to make your stay relaxing and easy. If anything is unclear or not covered here, my team and I are happy to answer your questions and doubts:
Check-in and check-out: Our guesthouse uses a contactless Check-in with a keybox at the entrance. This way our guests can check-in stressfree anytime after 2 p.m. (14.00h). Check-out time is 10 a.m. Guests will receive complete information before their arrival.
Use of garden / yard: The garden and yard area can be used by all guests. Garden furniture is supplied. We can provide a bbq-grill by request. For security reasons it may only be used on the uncoverd yard space. Some apartments additionally have private balconies.
Parking / garage: We have free off-street parking spaces in front of the house. A closed garage space is available for 10 EUR/day depending on availability. There are additional free covered parking spaces on the roof of the garage, especially for motorbikes.
Smoking: Smoking is not allowed anywhere in the building and in the garden and yard areas. There is a smoker's corner in front of the house.
Additional beds / child beds: Plase contact us, if you need a baby/child bed. In some apartments there is a possibility to add in an addtional bed. Please contact us BEFORE BOOKING.
Service: We offer self-catered accomodations and therefore do not offer food or maintenance cleaning. We will make your bed with fresh linnens before your arrival and provide towles. It is important that you indicate the exact guest number when booking. We will prepare as many beds as booked guests. If two guests book an apartment with two bedrooms we assume that we prepare one double bed in one room. If you wish to use both bedrooms, just let us know and we will prepare the double beds in each room for one person.
Mosel Thermal spa: Our rates generally include one free pass per guest and stay to the Mosel Thermal Spa.. Should you not want to use the Thermal Spa or if it is closed during yout stay, this will not entitle you to a price reduction.
Dogs: In some apartments dogs are permitted after prior request. If dogs are permitted is shown in the apartment's description. Dog owners are asekd to respect other guests and not to have the animals runnig loose in the hall or in the garden.
Group-/meeting room: We have a meeting room that is laid out for up to 12 guests (standard). It can be booked for exclusive use according to availability by prior inquiry and the use is without extra charge.

I don't live in or near the property; but my team and I will always be available in case of questions or problems.
