Magnificent Views of the Mighty Pacific Ocean from Every Room

Enjoy the beautiful North Shore of Kauai at our lovely Alii Kai I Condominium.

It is a ground floor, corner unit sitting on a bluff overlooking the magnificent Pacific Ocean. In the winter be mesmerized by 15 to 25 foot waves. Whales cavorting in the ocean and albatrosses gliding pass your windows. In the summer, enjoy snorkeling below the condominium. Watch the porpoises (dolphins) playing in the ocean and the turtles cavorting in the waves. Many times you will find a monk seal resting on the lava below the condo. There is a short trail which will take you down to the ocean.

We have internet and WiFi for your convenience. We also have a varied library with many Hawaiiana books for your enjoyment plus games, puzzles, and all the beach equipment you might need. A backpack is ready to go for a hike.

This is a peaceful, quiet Hawaiian-style condominium with the rooms looking out onto the ocean and the cool tradewinds wafting through the unit. The sunrises can be spectacular. A wonderful way to relax! While dining at the table, you can watch for the Tropic Birds that are looking for their meal out in the ocean.
We have always prided ourselves on keeping our /slice of Paradise VERY clean and now with the pandemic, we are working even harder to have it germ free for you.

Wow! Loved our stay here. This corner unit is SO close to the water, light and bright, and very clean. Views are incredible and sleeping to the sound of the waves was amazing. Well stocked with beach gear, and little items that were much appreciated such as binoculars and guidebooks. Kitchen had good quality dishes, knives, pots, etc. which a lot of VRBO's do not. Bed was comfortable, nice to have 2 bedrooms and 2 baths even though there were only 2 of us. Host responded quickly when I had a question. Great stay!

One word - Paradise Location to attractions, different beaches, and the ocean views from every room was the best part of the stay. Host was super quick to answer questions we did not need a single item during the stay everything was stocked and ready for us.We would enjoy staying there again in the future when the time is right.

This property was exactly as described with awesome views in a great location. The condo had everything we needed, including beach chairs, coolers, umbrella, snorkel gear and beach toys. We explored several of the nearby beaches which were within an easy drive. Also walked to Sea Lodge beach several times for fishing, swimming and snorkeling. The pool was especially nice (exceptionally clean, plenty of lounge chairs, shade, a picnic table, grill and bathrooms). Evelyn was very accommodating to our need for a late checkout because we needed a safe, cool place to keep a violin until our late night flight. We really appreciated her flexibility and quick replies.

Wonderful place with amazing views of the ocean! The host has thoughtfully filled the condo with everything you could need, a well stocked kitchen, laundry supplies, games, beach towels, beach toys and chairs, coolers, and beautiful decor throughout.

Great location for star gazing and ocean waves

The location was perfect for stargazing and watching big ocean waves! The condo was comfortable and clean with nice bedding and big fluffy towels. The owner was attentive and visited with us to ensure we were comfortable. We very much appreciated the wonderful hospitality! We’ve only been gone for one night, but wish we were still there!

Peaceful

Quite and peaceful, great place to recharge your batteries. The unit is incredibly well equipped with stuff you'd find at home, condiments, spices, cooking utensils, stuff for the beach. This is the most well thought out place we've stayed.

Absolutely amazing!

We spent 5 days at this beautiful property. The location was perfect. I think this might be the best spot on the island. Easy drive to everywhere we wanted to go. It was quiet and the views were spectacular. We spent a lot of time sitting on the wraparound deck watching and listening to the ocean. The host had everything we could ever want or need. Don’t hesitate if you are thinking about book, you won’t be disappointed!!

If you’re looking to stay on the north shore, this location is excellent. Beautiful ocean views. Easy access to Hanalei and surrounding areas, and a wonderful host to boot! Highly recommend.

Amazing Location

Can't beat this spot. Wrap around Lanai for sunrise and sunsets. Quiet location. Many walkable Points of Interest. The condo was clean and had amazing amenities. It felt remote and connected to nature, but close to everythong at the same time. It truly is a Slice of Paradise. Evelyn was an amazing host.

Loved it!

Highly recommend the property, Evelyn’s slice of paradise is just as described. I loved the panoramic views from almost every room except the bathrooms. The one thing I did notice which the owner can’t control; the upstairs neighbor watches tv quite loud and smokes cigarettes. So if you’re sensitive to smoke you wouldn’t be able to leave the lanai door or the bedroom windows open. There is everything you need in the unit. Boogie boards, wet suits, water shoes, snorkel equipment, chairs, umbrellas, straw hats, shopping bags. There are also things for kids - puzzles, toys. We brought our own gear and toys/books so we were all set, but it was nice to know that the unit was fully stocked. Love the attention to detail! Thank you so much for the wonderful stay!!!

Great vacation in a wonderful spot

We had a great time in Kauai. The condo is in a prime location overlooking the ocean. The ocean breeze keeps the unit cool and the sound of the waves lulls us to sleep at night. The condo is in great shape and very clean.

Absolutely perfect

This is one of the best ocean side rentals ever. The location is superb and the flat was furnished to make the stay easy and enjoyable. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals. We could see the sunrise and sunset, punctuated by albatross fly by's and white tailed tropic birds. Would return in a heartbeat.

Fantastic

We have visited Evelyn's lovely condo for many years now. We would never stay anywhere else on Kauai. It has all the conveniences, and the views are stunning. Can't wait to get back there ASAP!

Better than the photos

This was amazing... I have had rentals myself on Kauai and homes in the past and this was my first trip back in 12 years! Evelyn was a great hostess and the place was more beautiful than the photos even... We love it here and will come back to write again... A very creative space ... even had a rainbow the last evening.... thank you Evelyn

Completely Awesome

Property owner was exceptional. Condo had all the amenities one could think of and then more. The vista of ocean from windows and patio was panoramic! Watched numerious Humpback whales jumping within eye sight (binocs even better) every day. Thanks Evelyn for sharing!

Best view in Kauai

We started and ended every day sitting out on the deck watching the waves and spotting the whales. In between those times, we enjoyed several beaches in the area and took a daily hike also in the area. It was a very low key week and exactly what we wanted and needed before heading back to real life. Thank you for sharing your slice of paradise!!

We live here on the North Shore of Kauai and are about a 10 minute drive from our Slice of Paradise, so can be at the condo quickly should you need assistance.

We are very private, quiet, peaceful with an unbelievable view and absolutely nothing to mar that view. YOU ARE THERE!!! Bottom unit with no stairs to climb nor do you look at the neighbor's door as you leave your wonderful 'home'. You see the fabulous Pacific Ocean as you leave the condo and as you walk thru our Slice of Paradise. You see and hear the ocean from every room. We are modern and comfortable.
