The cabin was beautiful. Lots of games for the younger ones. Large kitchen for all the cooks. My husband and I have 4 kids all married with children 9 grandchildren from 4 - 19 in age everyone enjoyed our short trip.

Amazing Spring Break Trip

My friend and I took 9 high school friends and a few of our own kids to this cabin for Spring Break 2021. The cabin was perfect for our group. Plenty of room to spread out, but also fun activities for everyone. So close to hiking and both Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. The cabin was stocked with everything you could need or want. Property management was super fast responding to any issues and made sure everthing was resolved. Thank you!!

Family reunion

The house was big and spacious! The view was breathtaking. Plenty of parking spots for all of us. We did need to contact maintenance about a few things. The dishwater was full of mold and was unusable. We had to hand wash dishes for 17 people for a full week. There was also mold in 2 bathroom showers. The hot tub was dated but the water was nice a warm. Overall, a great spot! Returning next year!

Everything was great with the exception that the ice maker did not have water lines ran to the refrigerator. When the guy came out to replace the battery in the smoke alarm, we had him to show us how to turn it on and he said that it was not connected.

Family Vacation 2022

This was a great property with great views. The number of bedrooms worked out perfectly for us. All the games in the game room (pool table, air hockey, three electronic games, etc.) provided entertainment in the evenings. The road in was a bit challenging but the view was worth it. We did have a problem with the freezer staying closed and the owner is obviously aware because there was a note about it on the refrigerator. It would be good to figure out why and get it repaired. The only other thing we noticed was some of the bedspreads were showing wear. All in all though we would use this cabin again. Thank you for sharing it with our family.

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It was a birthday celebration with 12 family members 10 who had never been to the smokies. The cabin was very nice. We had a few problems with the freezer door that wouldn't open( turns out the track was iced over) and a bedroom door that wouldn't close. We had to call several times(3-4) before someone finally came to fix them. Lastly the cabin had lots of little fruit flies or gnats which was very annoying. All in all we had a good time and will go back again one day. This was my second stay at Black bear ridge and the first time was perfect, so I look forward to experiences similar to that in the future.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The Cabin was beautiful, and very spacious. The game room was awesome kept a lot of our group entertained. The view in the back was exceptional. The main level and upstairs was great no complaints here. The Cabin was decorated beautifully and we all fell in love with the kitchen. The Cabins downstairs has 4 bedrooms 3 with heat the bunk beds room no heat. 4 bathrooms no heat in any of them very cold. Theater room no heat avg temp was around 50 could not watch any movies that we had rented. We tried for 2 days to get maintenance to get us some heat a guy came on Saturday said there wasn't any heaters down there in the theater room and said he would tell the office, Maybe we should have asked for heaters. 2 guests in the bunk bed room had to sleep on the couches upstairs so the other 2 could have the comforters as no heat existed in there. Other than the heat situation the place was great.

Nice cabin, not as described

First, the communication with Eden Crest was great. No issues whatsoever and they were more than willing to help remedy any issues we ran into during out stay.The biggest issue we had was in the description. One bedroom was described as having 1 King and 2 Twin Beds. Having a large group, we chose this cabin because it gave a bed to every student. When we arrived, the bedroom had one King and no twin beds. Thankfully we were able to adjust and it wasn't as big an issue as it could've been and Eden Crest offered to bring air mattresses. However, when you spend hours searching for the right combo of beds/rooms/bathrooms and arrive to find the description was inaccurate. That's just a big disappointment.Secondly, and this is just a heads up for any guests coming in the next few weeks, the hot tub is awaiting repairs. This was not an issue for our group and I'm not complaining, just a heads up for any upcoming guests.Cabin was clean, easy to access and was convenient to PF. Also a heads up to upcoming guests, take Wears Valley Rd. and then put the address in, for some reason Google Maps took us through the entire development instead of the easiest, least curvy way possible. :)

Great Christmas Vacation

Check in was very easy. Beautiful property, very spacious and clean. Large dining area which accompanied our party of 18 (14 adults & 4 children). Game room for the kids. Great view and great location. Many attractions nearby.

Family vacay

The cabin was nice. There were a few things broken (bathroom door, swing on deck, bathtub, blinds) Maintenance came quickly to fix the broken door and ordered parts for the rest. Everyone was very kind and helpful and we were able to work around broken things. All in all it was a great experience.

Nice size cabin but in need of some TLC.

Beautiful views and decorated nicely. Several advertised amenities did not work properly. Hottub was not functional at all even after calling maintenance, game in game room did not work, dishwasher would not dry, hot water not sufficient for large group and a few too loose for comfort beams on the decks. Also, trash was never picked up. Maintenence did respond quickly about burnt out light bulbs and did attempt to fix the hottub.

A Great Place For A Group

This place had everything that we could want and although I've read other comments that said otherwise, it was a great spot. We were mindful on the number of "real" (non pull-out) beds (10) & bedrooms (7) they had. The only thing I'd recommend is planning on bringing extra trash bags/paper towels/coffee filters because there really weren't any that we could find. One of the coffee pots was broken (crack in the pot) but they had two pots, so we were able to make that work. The views were stellar, the game room was fun, and this place had at least two of every kitchen item you might need. The only other watchout was the tv situation. There were Rokus on most tv's, so if you don't stream much, that might be tricky. We couldn't find a Roku remote for the main level, so we downloaded the remote on our phone (or you could bring your own and just plug it in). Again, it was a simple fix and at the end of the day, we're not taking a vacation to watch TV, so it wasn't a big deal. So yes, a few minor "issues" but this met our needs and everyone was pleased.

A little disappointed

This house was good in the aspects of being clean and in a good location but we were a bit disappointed overall. The hot tub did not work which was half the reason we booked this house. We had to fill it up ourselves and then it never got hot. We reached out to the host and it was not resolved during our stay. Also this house said it slept 23 but comfortably only slept 17 unless you want to sleep on a literal cot. We were thankful we thought to bring 2 air mattresses. Also, the house was not stocked with enough towels for 23 people. The main level tv also did not allow us to change the channel. The downstairs also was freezing and the heat did not kick on. Also the jucuzzis in each bedroom had a sign that said they were all missing a part so we did not get to use those. All around, the house did the bare minimum but we would not stay again.

A family tradition in a beautiful cabin

Our family tradition of spending a few days in the Tenn mountains over New Year was a resounding success in this beautiful cabin. From communications to trash collection, every thing went as we would have wished. The cabin is perfect for a large group and the view is spectacular. Only problem that existed was a bad hinge on the back door on main floor. We decided not to use the door to prevent further damage. That was a minor inconvenience.

Annual guys golf trip

Second time at this property and still very nice!! Service was excellent. Sent someone out to fix hot tub within a couple hours of reaching the property!! Great job!!

Picture perfect weekend

We had our church youth group stay for CYC event in Pigeon Forge. Place was wonderful. The temperature in the upper bedrooms was challenging to control. It stayed warm. We finally got the room A/C to not get n. Both upper bedroom units need detailed instructions. Brighter light bulbs in upper activity floor with pool table would also be a good addition. All other items were fantastic.
