Rustic cabin with perfect views!

Stayed here to visit Yellowstone NP. Had everything we needed and absolutely loved the fire pit and views in the backyard!

Great stay; loved the view, the fire pit, easy access to groceries and coffee; house was well appointed; beautiful fox walked right by us on the road.

Great location for a family snowmobiling trip

The location of the property was awesome, there is a big open area where the kids were able to ride snowmobiles and get pulled on sleds. The cabin was older but worked great for our family.

Yellowstone Adventureland!!

Super location with a short 20 minutes drive to Yellowstone west entrance! Nice and quiet area for sound sleep! House was perfect for our needs! Communication with host was super fast and friendly! Definitely recommend!

Fantastic Location

Overall a great location! Quiet and beautiful views. Easy access to Yellowstone National Park. Only complaints we had were it was dusty and the floors were not clean as we found leftover medication on the floor. Can't beat the location

Great Place

This was a great place to stay and a wonderful company to work with. House was clean and organized. All the beds were super comfy. Plenty of room in the garage to pull them in at night out of the elements. We decided to extend out trip a few extra days while we were there and they were wonderful about accommodating us. Thank you for a great trip.

Highly Recommend

The property provided all the comforts of home enhanced by the mountain landscape and wildlife access from the porch and deck off the master suite. The double car garage and additional fridge/freezer in the garage is an added bonus! Plenty of parking space, outdoor fire pit (with firewood being provided) heighten our enjoyment.

We wanted to visit Yellowstone with the grandparents and stumbled upon this home near the West Yellowstone entrance. Initially we were hesitant to stay so far away from Yellowstone, but when we saw the pictures with the beautiful view and beautiful home we decided to go for it. We are happy we did as it is in a beautiful area. There were 8 of us plus a small dog, which was adequate in terms of sleeping and dining. The home was beautiful and furnished with pretty much everything we needed. The communication with Kabino was prompt and receptive if we had any issues. The check in and check out process was explained clearly and was easy to understand. There were only a few minor negatives, but we're sure the owners/property management can easily address these for their future guests. The kitchen could have used a more thorough cleaning. The stove and hood were especially dirty and stained. There was a broken shelf in the fridge that fell out when we opened the door. Many of the kitchen drawers had crumbs in them. There was dried batter of some sort on the side of the fridge and garbage can and the floor had crumbs in the corners, cracks, and under the fridge and oven. We did our best to help them clean. If you visit in the summer we highly recommend bringing your own fans as it can get warm. Luckily we had brought some. Some of the outlets can be loose and testy so be careful. We did have to troubleshoot some outlets not working in the kitchen but we figured it out ourselves.

The drive to Yellowstone was only about 15 minutes to get to the West entrance of the park. After the first time entering the place, I regret booking it for only three nights. A week minimum is a must.

Sparkling clean

This property was unbelievably clean, we were so impressed. A few things need updating, but that's in the works we were told. Had a few issues and Jasmine and Matt went above and beyond to take care of us. There was an unseasonable amount of snow still, up to the second floor deck, so was a drag we couldn't look out the windows and see the beautiful vista's. And the fire pit was buried under about 6ft of snow. Maybe next time!

It worked for Christmas riding

The house fit our needs. The beds were softer than what we liked. Snow sliding off the roof almost blocked the side door on the garage making getting in and out interesting. We had to clean out the kitchen faucet screen a couple times as it got clogged with calcium or sediment. Found two pieces of bread that was on the top shelf of the comer cabinet not in a bag. It wasn’t molding (yet) but hard like toast.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The property was in a great location and the process of renting it went smoothly. The property was not very clean when we arrived - dead bugs on the floor etc. We were not happy with the level of cleaning we needed to do at the end of the rental and will not rent from this company again. We had to do dishes, laundry and remove garbage from the property. What was our $100 cleaning fee for if we did all the cleaning???? Maybe this is standard in Island Park, but not in the rest of the world!

Thanks for the review! We take your concerns very seriously, and had we know their was an issue, we would have reacted immediately, but we didn't hear about this until now. This is a log cabin, and in the heat of summer I can certainly understand leaving doors and windows open and the flys coming in. Not much anyone can do there, as it happens everywhere... Unfortunately, Island Park doesn't offer trash service, and so the recycling center is the best option and we state that up front and again in the rental agreement. The recycling center is near this property, and we haven't heard this concern yet. We appreciate your business and are glad everything else worked out so well.
