This spacious home located at the top of Big Creek features 5 decks totaling over 2000 square feet of outdoor living overlooking the beautiful waters of Norris Lake.



ā€‹The home has an open floor plan with large kitchen/family room which isĀ well equipped for large groups.



The garage "The Hangar" has been converted to a rec room with comfortable recliners, a large screen TV, ping pong table and sliding glass doors to a deck overlooking the lake.



ā€‹There are six bedrooms, including three with king beds, two with queen beds and "The Barracks" with three queens and two twins. The home comfortably sleeps 18 in real beds- no bunk beds, trundle beds or sleeper sofas.



ā€‹There are stairs from the deck down to a private dock with large swim platform and year round deep water. A covered 10x24 slip is reserved for your boat and another boat can be tied to the side of the dock. There is a kayak dock with easy entry ramp and three kayaks available for your use.



ā€‹The large decks feature comfortable furniture, a gas fire pit, a BlackstoneĀ grill and an amazing outdoor shower (trust me, nobody will want to shower inside).



Norris Lake is a flooded valley.Ā There are about 100 stairs from the house to the dock. The stairs were replaced in the fall ofĀ 2023. They are sturdy with railings on both sides and severalĀ landings. For guests who do not wish to take the stairs, we are located 1/2 mile from the marina, allowing people to drive to the marina and be picked up by boat.



The home is listed as accessible. We understand that what is accessible to one person may not be to another. There is notĀ an ADA bathroom. However, we have had several guests in wheelchairs successfully vacation in the home. If you have accessibility questions, please contact us before booking



If you are looking for additional bedrooms, there is a mobile home next door. It features two bedrooms with queen beds, a full bath, washer/dryer, kitchen/living room and deck with gas fire pit. While it is an older mobile home, it hasĀ recently been upgrade with new windows, a mini-split Heat and A/C system and a tankless water heater for endless hot water. If rented with the main house, the cost is $125 per night (Plus tax).Ā  Please reach out to me for pictures and to verify avilibility.Ā

Fabulous living space and views from this well designed lake house! Plenty of open space and great amenities. Owner was very responsive and easy to book with. My first time at Indian River side of the lake and it is beautiful! Great marina and easy drive off the highway.

Perfect house for our group! Loved the dorm area for the teenagers and plenty of bedrooms for the adults. The house had everything we needed for meals and we enjoyed family game nights around the big kitchen table. The Hangar was a great hangout spot too!The owner was great - very responsive and made our trip seamless. Unfortunately a tree had blown over just before our arrival that damaged and blocked the stairs to the dock. I communicated it to the owner as soon as we noticed and he had someone there to clear the tree and repair the stairs immediately. Our group never missed a beat and we were so appreciative! Overall, we had a wonderful week with family boating, jet skiing and floating off the dock! I highly recommend this property!

Perfect house for our family getaway!

Flyers Landing was outstanding! Thanks for having us in your beautiful home. The kitchen was well appointed with everything we needed, as we were preparing meals every night for 14. The boat house/dock was fantastic with the electric and the Bluetooth speakers. The stairs were a little daunting for a 50+ year old, but I made the it up in down 2 to 3 times a day. Just take breaks on the 2nd and 4th landing. It really helps lol. Big beds for everyone, and nobody complained about the beds being uncomfortable. Super close to groceryā€¦10 minutes away. The Hangar has a great tv and multiple recliners for chilling and watching shows and is a/c wise, the coolest part of the house. Would definitely vacation here again!

The Beauty of the Mountains

This was our first visit to Norris Lake, we have been visiting this area of Tennessee over the last few years as we are planning to retire there in the near future. The lake was gorgeous, the views were outstanding. The only thing I had a hard time with was all the steps! My old 61 year old knees were not use to that! But all in all the house was beautiful and well outfitted.

Couples Weekend

The house was beautiful, plenty of space for 6 couples, and close to the stores. The mean really enjoyed fishing on the private dock. The game room was the hit for everyone, movie night and college football all day on Saturday.

Perfect home & location

The house was incredibly spacious for our group of 10. We had 2 completely unused bedrooms and so much space. The dock was quiet and the kids swam quite a bit. The kitchen amenities were excellent as was everything else. We will definitely be back!

Family trip

Loved location. How was just as described. Everyone had a great time. Heating was tricky, to get it warm downstairs we roasted upstairs. Thankfully they had 2 ovens that was great but when they were both on the censor on top oven kept shutting it off, hopefully that will get looked at. The barracks bathroom wasnā€™t clean and there is mold on the walls. Overall it was a nice stay.

Very nice property

This was a really nice property to visit with friends and enjoy each otherā€™s company either outside on the decks or inside the house. Steps up from dock can be a challenge, so just try to make the trip once. It is a beautiful location

Perfect Landing

Flyers Landing was the perfect landing spot for us after a long day of surfing on the lake. We had breakfast with friends on the patio, played and fished off the dock, and finished up the night with music and euchre in the hanger. The house was very clean, well stocked, and plenty of space for 4 adult couples. We came at a quiet time of year, but the location was beautiful, weather was perfect, and water was smooth. We had the best time!

ANNUAL FAMILY LAKE GETAWAY

Our family loved Flyers Landing and had a great time at the Lake. House was perfect for our family. Steps were a little trying at times but enjoyed hanging at the dock. Kitchen very well equipped and great sleeping areas. Owners were always very responsive and accomadating.. Highly recommend this beautiful lake house especailly since the area was quiet and great for the kids to swim out without much boat traffic.

Christmas gift

Panned family vacation for Christmas gift. Very enjoyable and memorable. We were able to go boating and swimming and enjoy the view from the house. The host was very helpful and always kept me informed in getting ready for the stay.

Awesome hangout space on deck and in the Hanger!

Thank you for letting us stay at your beautiful lake home! We had such an amazing time celebrating the New Year with our family!! The Hangar was a prime hangout playing ping pong, darts, Euchre and watching movies and football games on the big screen!! A little chilly down by the docks but kids still enjoyed the fishing (no bites) - must be amazing in the summer with nicer weather. Kitchen was well stocked, close to town for items and everyone slept comfortably! No complaints! Definitely on our return list to come back!

Perfect house for our family Thanksgiving

My family and I just had a fantastic stay over Thanksgiving. The house was perfect for all of the little cousins and my aunt in a wheelchair. The kitchen was completely stocked for us to make a full Thanksgiving meal, and the weather was perfect for dining outside on the lovely deck. We couldn't have had a better place to all get together for the holiday. Thanks so much!

Not all all what I expected.House had not been cleaned very good ..Not As nice as I thought it would be .Several things that we had to come in and do our selfā€™s that should have been done .During COVID air cond filters should be one thing that is kept changes but they had not been in a long time from the looks of them.The grill was so nasty that I would not use it without having to do a major cleaning .Several things including fire pit having to change out gas tank ourself.I mean we were taking a minion vacation

An amazing time

Stayed here over the last weekend and the home was awesome!! The kitchen was fully stocked with things to cook with and eat with šŸ™ŒšŸ¾. The home was clean and everything was as advertised. I showed a few friends whoā€™s the boss of ping pong and enjoyed a movie while relaxing in the comfy recliner. In addition I loved getting to use the fireplace and fire Pitt. The home had enough deck space for everyone to relax and hangout and even in between rain was able to jump in the water down at the dock, we use the kayaks, and my friends even found a mini island lol. Wouldnā€™t trade this weekend for nothing, lasting memories at a great home.

Family and Friends gathering

Our stay at the Flyers Landing was amazing!! We had a large group of adults and young adult teenagers. The house was a perfect fit for our large gathering. The Hanger was a great addition for all who wanted to hangout and make a little noise. We could shut the door and still have peace in the rest of the house. The kitchen is well stocked for cooking. We loved our stay in this beautiful home! Planning our next trip soon!

Amazing experience

We had a great experience at Flyers Landing. The house was in good shape and was perfect for all our needs. The outdoor deck is great for hanging out and spending time. The Hangar is awesome for watching games and playing various games. The location is awesome and the dock and water are great. All around great place to stay.

Very clean

House was well appointed and very clean. Loved that we didnā€™t have to rent kayaks for our stay. Very spacious. Only complaint was that the trees block most of the lake view.

Chris & Carol live in Cincinnati and have 5 children, 2 daughters-in-law and three grandchildren. We both grew up on the east coast, vacationing at the beach, but have quickly come to love the lake experience.

After visiting Norris Lake for 15 years we started looking for the right right property to call home for our large family.

While we had often rented in other areas of Norris lake, but Big Creek has always been our favorite. It has fewer houses and lots of smooth water for skiing, wakeboarding and tubing.

When we found Flyers' Landing, we immediately fell in love with the open floor plan, large decks for indoor, outdoor living and the plenty of room for everyone.
