Beautiful home, steps from the beach, recently remodeled, sleeps 6 with an open floor plan, 1 garage space for guests on large private lot. Large master bedroom with king size bed, flat screen TV with full handicap accessible bath. Second bedroom with queen bed, tv and access to pool. Third bedroom with queen bed. All with large closets, new mattresses, linens and towels included. Great room with large flat screen TV and comfortable seating, sliding glass doors opens to large enclosed pool and covered patio creating a beautiful outdoor space for all seasons.

The property is clean and well maintained, used as a vacation beach house by the owners, but is only available for minimum 30 day rental due to local regulations

It is located on the peninsula of Ormond by the Sea, 100 meters to the ocean and 400 meters to the river. The area is quiet, in a residential area.

Bicyclists and Bikers will love the Loop, a 22 mile ride that includes Tomoka State Park. Start your ride 400 meters from the house.

The house is also 800 meters to a 5 mile forever green reserve, providing a natural back drop to the area, including the beach.

The beach is quiet and uncrowded, with great walking and bird, dolphin and whale watching. Sea turtle nests dot the shoreline in summer. Shell, surf, fish and swim.

Enjoy walking from the beach to the pool and back again.

Easy peasy

Wonderful safe neighborhood. Pool and lanai were very nice and lounge chairs were great. Pool weather was a little cool but pool nicely cared for. When I had questions, owners responded quickly. Nice having a garage too. All in all we had a nice comfortable stay

Great property for extended stay

The property, located in a quiet neighborhood with shopping and eateries a short drive away, was perfect for a our extended stay (3 adults-ages 60+) and plenty of space for family members staying nearby to join us for supper: dining room had seating for 8, 3rd bedroom for any grand child who might chose to stay over. The kitchen is well equipped (good knives!), new induction cooktop, microwave/convection upper oven, and lower oven, good cookware (big soup-pot!!), lots of china- an easy place to prepare a full meal for 8. The beds are all comfortable, plenty of nice linens and towels. Washer/dryer work well. WIFI works well. TV works well (only used the living room). Lovely pool deck- most days were mid-60's- a few 70's- so we didn't use the pool but did take advantage of the comfortable furniture to sit outside on warm days. No hot-tub- so no comment- we didn't use bbq, so no comment. Any questions we had were answered quickly by our host. A ideal choice for an Ormond Beach stay!

The weather was good until the last week but it was still a good vacation! I have a question, when my son unplugged my breathing machine under the king bed,there was a little black box which he must have thought it was mine. When Imgot home it was in my bag. It is an alarm clock I think. How or what address do I send it back?

Awesome vacation home for us, our family, and friends

We rented this home for 35 days and had a great stay. Our daughter and 3 grandkids came the first week, 2 retired friends came 2 days later for 2 weeks, and another couple joined us for a week. The pool was the center of most activities. We enjoyed many local places from Daytona Beach to St. Augustine. The hosts were great to work with. They responded quickly to any questions we had. The place is very clean and well stocked with everything we needed. The beach is a short walk from the house. We have used VRBO for years from California to Rhode Island and found that this property ranks in the top group of properties we have visited.

This was better than what we expected. The accommodations were spot on. Whatever we needed was there! Beds were very comfortable, and any questions were answered quicky.

It should have been disclosed everything in the home was washed in tide detergent (i am highly allergic), Listing stated no animals yet there was dog hair all over the place (everytime I washed my clothes I had more dog hair on my clothes than previously (and I have no pets), listing states two car garage yet there is a vehicle inside the garage and itā€™s parked crooked so it was difficult for me to get in and out. Listing fails to disclose the thermostat is in a lock box and when I called the hosts nobody responded and I had to message them several times via the app. Host informed me to make sure iā€™m not ā€œair conditioning the pool areaā€ when i needed the temp turned down. Master bathroom doesnā€™t have a door so it made it difficult as a night shift travel nurse to sleep bc the bathroom has a giant sky light in it that lights up the whole room. Home would be better if this stuff had been disclosed previous to stay. Dog hair was even in the pool, and whoever stayed previously left all sorts of lint in the lint trap in the dryer housekeeping did not do a good job with the dog hair. Home would best be served for someone who is up during the day vs a night shift nurse.

Vacation in 'Ormond by the Sea'

We spent a month at this property. Great location within a few miles from everything but nice quiet neighborhood where you can hear the waves at night. Home was nice inside with all amenities you would need. Especially comfy beds!! Will definitely try and go back next year!

Comfortable Home By The Ocean

Enjoyed another fun January at Elizabeth and Dave's place. Thank you for sharing your home with us! We had a couple major issues this year that they attended to promptly. Elizabeth is a joy to work with. And their pool guy, Dave, is great! Their house is spotless with lots of storage in spacious bedrooms, bathrooms and kitchen. The glass doors keep sliding until the whole wall is open to the beautiful pool area. The sound system in the living room is spectacular. Simply lovely home in a friendly, safe and quiet neighborhood.

Wonderful Vacation

If you are looking for a quiet peaceful restful vacation this is a perfect place to rent. Location is away from any busy activities unless you drive. This was a perfect vacation location for my wife and I. Beautiful clean home and pool. Owners were great to work with. We will returning next year.

Winter get a way!

Love this place!

Elizabeth is a joy to work with and their home is perfect! We're lucky to have landed this rental for the month of January and love it so much we'll be returning next year. Spent most of our time on the lanai by the pool when we weren't kayaking, biking or beach walking! The kayaking in this area is amazing. The kitchen is a nice size and fully equipped. The furniture, beds and linens are all high end with the most comfortable patio lounges we have ever "napped" on! The house is totally organized and spotlessly clean. Almost forgot to mention the amazing new sound system connected to the tv. The Orgels have thought of everything. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

We had the time of our lives at this magical beach house!

Everything we needed for a beautiful, relaxing summer vacation was in this home. Plenty of beach towels, chairs, umbrellas and beach toys. Very comfortable beds and cute beachy decor. Fully stocked kitchen and cooking utensils. Thank you for a wonderful vacation - we hope to be back again!

Beautiful home , lovely location !!

The house just lovely and clean . The location was great, just one block from the beach. You can hear the waves during the night. The only issue we had was the pool was very cool most of our stay. The listing says it is a heated pool but it is only SOLAR heat. Solar heat does not heat pools very well during the months when the evenings cool off or if there has been a lot of rain during the winter months. It was disappointing and that is why I only gave four stars. If you are there during the warmer months or if you do not care if the pool is fairly warm like I do , the house is a five star for sure !! The people are great to deal with and the street is so nice and quiet. The outdoor living at this house is perfect . I would love to come back but i would time it to come when I am sure the beautiful pool would be warm and I could be in it every day !! Thanks Elizabeth for your kindness and allowing us to use your wonderful home.

It was a sisters birthday celebration get-away and we enjoyed every minute of it. Day 1 we arrived at Orlando airport and drove out to the house to settle in for the night; dinner at LuLu's. Day 2 Universal Studios then we took the short stroll to Ormond Beach and walked along the shore picking up sea shells and catching up on the past year's happenings. Day 3 went to NASA and witnessed a rocket launch as well as took a tour and visited the many attractions. Day 4 we went to Universal Studios and attended Halloween Haunted Nights. Day 5 visited St. Augustine all day. Day 6 relaxed around the pool, then attended Thor Movie premiere. Day 7 Orlando Eye, Sea Life, Madame Tussaud, Sleuth Mystery Dinner. Day 8 relaxed around the pool reminiscing and planning our next weeks excursions. Day 9 Daytona Beach and dinner at Wings. Day 10 Ormond Beach, chair relaxing in the sand then home watching TV. Day 11 St. Augustine again to continue our scheduled tours, dinner at Harry's Seafood Bar & Grille. Day 12 relaxing at the house, lounging in the living room while watching TV, napping in the very comfortable bedrooms, and cooking dinner in the kitchen while Google Home played music from Pandora. Day 13 New Smyrna Beach, visited Old Town Historical Museum and enjoying High Tide at the Beach. Day 14 unfortunately, check out and heading home. It's a warm, loving home with a very comfortable atmosphere. I especially liked soaking my feet in the pool daily before and after our excursions, as well as having breakfast on the patio. I'm sure you'll enjoy every minute you spend there.
