Enjoy staying in a cozy 1 bedroom condo on the beach in Frigate Bay. Island Paradise is a great place to relax, and enjoy sun, sand and tranquility while having the convenience of great food, unhurried atmosphere, friendly attitudes and local attractions nearby.

While Island Paradise is located on the Atlantic Ocean, the Caribbean Sea with great beaches, water sports, local beach bars and restaurant is only a 10 minute walk away. The Marriott Hotel with its Casino, shops and restaurants is only a 5 minute walk from your condo.

If you require additional excitement, there is a taxi stand close by that can bring you into Basseterre to shop and mix with the locals. Additional attractions include Snorkeling, Diving, Water Sports, Catamaran Trips, Rainforest Tours, a trip to Historic Fort Brimstone, a Zip Line, Bicycle Tours, visits to St. Kitts Plantations, and a trip to St. Kitts sister island of Nevis. The booking process was good. Spoke to Rick in advance about wifi speeds needed and he was right on top of it to make sure I had what I needed. We did have a couple little issues but they were taken care of quickly. We enjoyed our stay, location, and the community was so pleasant. We would stay there again if or when we go back.

The property location was amazing! Walkable to mostly any restaurant you can think of trying and to the beach. The condo, is clean, comfortable and cozy. We loved it!! The host was fast in communication and very accommodating. 10/10 experience and would definitely stay here again!

Just returned from a fantastic getaway to Ricks property,Located in a beautifully landscaped & quiet condo community ideally situated very close to local eateries,grocery stores & beaches. Great location

We had a conference at the Marriott which was less than a 10min walk away. A small grocery was right next to the property office, and a larger one on the way to the Marriott. Lovely little coffee and breakfast place next door. The Strip is nearby and if you have a car rental the entrance to the peninsula is down the street which leads to beaches and beach bars aplenty! The grounds here are beautiful and the pool is great too!

Comforts of Home!

The property is great for a couple. The air conditioner kept the whole apartment cool. The apartment was well stocked with everything you could want. The pool was really nice as was the BBQ area. It's right on the beach, great for a walk. I plan to go back next year.

Fantastic quiet spot

My wife and I found this spot to be a perfect setup. Beach adjacent, quiet part of the island but still very accessible to amenities and the island overall. Would highly recommend.

first time at St. Kitts

The owners have made this property very becoming and functional. Just steps from the on-site pool, and within a short walk to restaurants, a beach & casino at the Marriott and the market. Being on the Atlantic side, it was quite windy every day, but pleasant temps between 73 & 82. In order to conserve water & electricity, power was turned off during one of our days and water was off overnight three times. Always a good idea to have containers of water. On-site staff very helpful.

I liked the safety aspect of the property, the property has several built in features that if the occupants engage these measures that are in place, they will have a high of personal security. The atmosphere of this condo is very peaceful, the properties are well maintained, beautiful and family friendly. A wonderful exotic Caribbean vacation spot!!!!

Nice condominium located close to several amenities.

The condominium is in excellent condition and well maintained. It is well stocked with various toiletries and supplies. Unfortunately, the air conditioning is only adequate for the bedroom. The remainder of the unit will stay quite warm. However, the ceiling fans help to keep you comfortable. The beach was in very poor condition secondary to erosion and an algae/kelp bloom, during our visit. Fortunately, a 15 minute walk will take you to the Caribbean side with an excellent beach. Very good restaurants are within a short walking distance from the unit. A small grocery store is also within a short walk. Overall, this vacation rental is good and fairly priced. The location is very convenient for most activities.

Cozy and Clean Condo

We spent a week at this adorable condo at the end of January. The unit was beautifully kept, had all necessary kitchen equipment and a comfortable queen size bed. The grounds are well taken care of as was the pool. Many restaurants within walking distance and taxis available at all times. The owner, Rick, was quick to return emails and got in touch to make sure we had arrived and to see if we had any questions. A great experience and we would certainly come back.

It was a GREAT week

Rick was great to work with. He emailed us a brochure ahead of time with everything that we needed to know about the condo and the area (Print it out and take it with you). He helped me arrange a rental car that worked out great. The condo is immaculate. It is in GREAT condition. It is one of about 20 or so similar condos and there were many retirees there who are very helpful with answers to questions and for getting a general "lay of the land". The kitchen is well appointed with everything that is needed for day to day cooking. The bed is very comfortable and both the bed and bath linens are high quality. Pool and beach are very nice. The only suggestion I have is to study the road system on Mapquest or another mapping site before you venture out. There is only one map provided by the tourism board and it gives an overview. but is not sufficient for driving around the island. GPS locations are non existent, but, once you study the map, you will find that the area is easy to navigate.

I am a conscientious and detailed VRBO owner myself so had high expectations of the communication from the owner Rick and of the condo itself. Rick and the condo passed all my expectations with flying colors. Communication was instantaneous at all times with great detail provided outlining info on the Island, the condo and things to see and do. My questions were often answered before being asked. The condo and the complex itself were lovely. The condo very clean and well organized and a great location across from the pool area. Lot's of beach towels, a cooler, kitchen tools and more. The complex was pleasantly quiet, beautifully manicured and had a great beach for swimming and walking. We found that most of the people staying at the complex were either owners themselves or snowbirds who had been renting for years. Everyone was super friendly and very welcoming doing their best to give us tips on places to see, where to eat etc. Upon arrival we were pleased to find a bottle of wine a few breakfast items for the next day. The Island of Saint Kitts was great! We rented a car and toured the Island north to south and west to east. Highlights were zip lining, touring Brimstone Hill Fortress (gorgeous views and interesting history lesson), Cockleshell Beach, hanging out at the beach Bistros down by Shiggidy Shack and taking the ferry over to Nevis. Always felt quite safe and secure everywhere we went and were warmly welcomed by the locals at all times. Food everywhere was very good from the beach shacks to higher class restaurants. Favorite dinner was at Marshalls which is about a 5 minute drive from the condo. All in all it was a fabulous trip! Thanks Rick for your hospitality and for sharing your Paradise with us.

Perfectly outfitted condo in a quiet complex but close to EVERYTHING!

We had an amaging stay in St. Kitts. Our family was staying at the Marriott and the condo was a 2 minute walk to the property. We had the best of both worlds...a lovely condo in a private, quiet complex within minutes of a large hotel & other wonderful local attractions. We can't wait to return!

Great Location!

There are many reasons to rent Rick's condo at Island Paradise. The communication with him prior to arrival was great and he was willing to answer any questions that we might have. We have travelled to many islands and stayed in condos and his furnishings and full size appliances are updated, unlike many other island condos. Since we didn't want to rent a car and "drive on the left", the close proximity of restaurants and Frigate Bay Beach was a real plus. We recommend walking to Rituals, and Timothy Beach Resort for breakfast, Mr X's Shiggity Shack or Vibes for a beach lunch, and Ciao Italian, Rock Lobster or Rituals Sushi for dinner. There is even a small grocery store close by. The question is...."Would we go back?" Absolutely! David and Suzanne Carlisle, Nashville, TN
