A delightful home located in one of the most desirable neighborhoods in Pebble Beach. It is situated on a large lot between world famous Pebble Beach Lodge and the Inn at Spanish Bay. The home is within walking distance to the beach, Bird Rock Point and 17 Mile Drive.

This single level 3 bedroom, 2 bathrooms Comstock-built cottage is exceptionally maintained. It is attractively decorated with an eclectic mix of traditional, contemporary and antique furnishings and gorgeous red oak hardwood flooring throughout the home.

The beautifully remodeled gourmet kitchen with granite countertops, custom maple cabinets, stainless steel appliances, granite counter breakfast bar and tiled flooring, is fully equipped for any chef. The adjacent dining area seats 8.

The great room has a wood-beamed vaulted ceiling, wood burning brick fireplace, flat screen TV, and equipped with wireless internet, creating a cozy and relaxing setting.

The French doors from the great room and master bedroom suite lead out to a lovely front enclosed brick courtyard. The courtyard offers a peaceful place to grill on the BBQ, dine alfresco on the outdoor patio set, read a book, and play a card game or simply to enjoy the gardens and forest.

Charming home in a forest neighborhood

Perfect home for a small group. Kitchen is fully stocked for cooking and entertaining. Beds are comfortable and the neighborhood is extremely quiet. Close proximity to Carmel and The Lodge at Pebble Beach. When you enjoy the outdoor patio you can hear the sea lions barking!

Wonderful stay at this gem in the Forest!

We enjoyed our stay in this wonderful, comfortably appointed home. Its location in the Forest was perfect and we were able to walk to Spyglass to watch golf. The home itself is quiet, thoughtfully decorated and very organized! We love to cook and were thrilled to find such a well stocked kitchen. Donna and Nancy were fabulous to work with and our stay was easy and peaceful. We would definitely recommend this home and look forward to returning.

Perfect Location and Family Home

A great three-bedroom home in a quiet residential location in the center of Pebble Beach. Excellent open plan kitchen, dining area, and living space for everyone to gather and spend time together. Opens onto a lovely brick courtyard. Equidistant to all the golf courses and a great base to explore the Monterey Peninsula, Carmel, and Big Sur. Easy to get to restaurants in Carmel, Monterey, and Pacific Grove.

Perfect place to stay

We stayed at this property in April 2016. A wonderful home, plenty of room, everything was clean. It is a quiet, peaceful location with easy access to anything in the Monterey Peninsula. The ocean and golf courses are within walking distance. Donna and Nancy were extremely accommodating. Our plans changed 2 hours prior to our departure and they allowed us to stay an additional evening.

Perfectly situated cottage style home for a beautiful family get away.

Our family of 6 thoroughly enjoyed everything that this rental had to offer. A family of Golfers, who grew up driving down highway 1 from the Bay Area and spending hours exploring the beaches, golf courses, and beautiful homes a long the 17-mile drive, found this house to be in an ideal location to rehash those childhood memories. The house was quaint, quiet and provided a secluded feel among the trees and wildlife of the Monterey Peninsula. We truly enjoyed everything the house had to offer, and would highly recommend this rental to any of our friends.

Lovely Vintage Home

We had a wonderful stay at this lovely and tastefully decorated vintage home. This vacation home is perfect for those with toddlers. We were able to toss the kids outside in the courtyard and just open up the two Double Dutch Doors to watch them play in a sizeable courtyard. The amenities were more than adequate. Bring plenty of wine to fill the many wine glasses! We will be returning!

A Wonderful Holiday Home!

We have rented homes for over 8 years across the United States and rank this house as one of the top homes we have ever stayed in. The photos are accurate but the interior is larger than it looks. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you need to enjoy cooking any meal. The master bedroom and ensuite are spacious and all the bedrooms are well appointed. It was also the cleanest we have experienced. The beautiful location was a bonus -- a great jumping off point to explore the Monterey Penninsula. We can't wait to come back to stay here again in the near future!

Serene Refuge

My husband and I rented this lovely home in July. It is ideally located for visiting Carmel, Monterey and of course, Pebble Beach. It is an adorably decorated ranch style home. Very private, well maintained and very clean. Donna and Nancy were both wonderful to work with, very accommodating and responsive. We loved being able to have the choice of spending our days at all the wonderful sites in Carmel and Monterey, or staying at "home" in the lovely courtyard with a good book, glass of wine and listening to the sea lions barking in the distance. We would love to return -- can't recommend it highly enough.

Really nice!!

It was very nice.. just a couple small things cld be added like a dish strainer, extra garbage bags... obviously nothing crucial. It was very quiet and clean. Didn't realize there was only 1 tv and no bathtub but again not a big deal. Tyyyy. Donna and Nancy were very prompt on their replies which was great. :)))

Great place for a family to relax

Nancy and Donna's house was a perfect place for my family to stay together and relax after hiking in Yosemite. Donna gave us the option to check in early if needed which was considerate. The location was walking distance to the beach through a quiet neighborhood. We had dinner in Carmel the first night and walked to the beach to see the sunset. We drove to Big Sur the next day and found a delightful French bakery on the way. We shopped at Lucky which was easy. We had breakfast in the courtyard on Sunday which was so peaceful. We cooked dinner in the well stocked kitchen and used the grill.The living room has a comfortable sectional on which we lounged. Everything worked well. The beds were comfortable, the bathrooms clean , and updated. The instructions were in an easy to read binder with other recreational and dining suggestions. I wish we had been able to stay longer.

Fantastic....

We are regular VRBO users and this was one of the best experiences we've had yet! Beautiful, well-kept house, with a kitchen that has EVERYTHING you could imagine needing (including a huge TV in the vaulted and spacious family area). Two sets of french doors that open up to a good sized private patio that was perfect for morning coffee or for grilling out on the nice grill provided! Also handy to be able to pull into a garage and to be able to use a private washer and dryer that are conveniently located in the garage (meaning you can run them at night and not be kept awake by the noise). Close to everything you'd want to do and located in such a way that you're never caught in traffic getting to the popular places (Aquarium, Fisherman's Wharf, Carmel by the Sea, Spanish Bay/Pebble/Spyglass). You will not be disappointed! PS- the picture with the deer in the back yard was exactly what we witnessed several evenings!

A beautiful home in a great location!

We enjoyed our time at this wonderful home in Pebble Beach! Thank you Donna and Nancy for sharing this great place with us and for being such fabulous hosts! We so appreciated all the household and kitchen items that you provided for us while we were guests there! All these things made our stay very comfortable! The home is beautifully decorated and the layout is perfect! We found the neighborhood to be very peaceful and quiet! The location is perfect for vacationers like ourselves ... an easy access to the ocean and all the top touristing sites,recreational activities, and wonderful restaurants! Lovely, thoughtful rental

I would have to say this was by far our best rental, thus far, & we have been using VRBO for quite some time. We spent a lovely, peaceful month here in July. Donna & Nancy have thought everything through for the renter . . . from tissue in every room, to magnifying mirrors in the bathrooms. The house was spacious, well appointed & not cluttered. The kitchen was very well stocked with everything we would need for cooking. The furniture was comfortable, as were the beds! Use of the garage was a plus, which made it so easy to move in and out . . . just a few steps into the house! We also thought the idea of a bit larger cleaning fee was a good idea because it included a cleaning crew halfway through. There is also a short walk to Bird Rock & magnificent walking trails that we took on a regular basis. The only con was unseasonably cold weather throughout the month, which, of course, was not the fault of Donna & Nancy! My husband & I thank them for a wonderful stay!

Really Nice

This home was very elegant. My wife raved about the kitchen that is more than fully stocked with pots, pans, plates and all kitchen appliances. It was a real benefit to be located inside the 17 mile gated community. Donna and Nancy were very responsive. We will definitely stay here again.

Perfect home for our family vacation

Comstock Cottage is a beautiful home and was perfect for our family vacation. It is conveniently located close to golf, the beach, restaurants and shopping. We love to cook and the kitchen has everything you could possibly need with a grocery store a short distance away. We had many of our meals at the dining table and watched the deer stroll by. The beautiful patio is perfect to enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning or a glass of wine in the evening. The home was spotless and it was so nice to have use of a washer and dryer. It was a pleasure dealing with Donna and Nancy and they have a booklet in the living room on how to work everything in the home. We will absolutely be coming back to lovely Comstock Cottage again!

We loved our stay in this home. We were attending our daughters graduation at CSUMB.

We had a wonderful experience staying at Nancy and Donnas home. It was nice to beable to talk to them and ask questions prior to our arrival. We had both sets of our daughters grandparents with us and they do enjoyed the stay As well . The home was beautiful And spotless. It was so quiet and relaxing . We loved walking down to the beach and watching the sea lions and otters. We also would have coffee in the courtyard and watch the deer! Such a beautiful experience ! Perfect for our family

This is an impressive property from the first step into the courtyard. Opening the front door brought even more delight as we saw the comfortable seating and the tasteful decorations. The kitchen is very well equipped. You can enjoy the quietness of Pebble Beach and have easy access to all the attractions of the Monterrey Peninsula.

A Beautiful and Comfortable Home on the Monterey Peninsula

This home was perfectly positioned between Carmel and Monterey and within walking distance of one of the many beaches and golf courses along the 17 Mile Drive. It easily accommodated 2 couples, and was even lovelier than the web site photos. We loved the fact that we could enjoy the quiet of the Pebble Beach area, but in 10 minutes be amidst the bustle of Carmel, Pacific Grove or Monterey. Donna and Nancy were great to work with!

Quiet home in good location

A clean, well stocked home. We had easy access to Seventeen Mile Dr, Carmel, Monterey Aquarium and Cannery Row. Big Sur is a short drive south. The beach is in walking distance. Donna and Nancy were very easy to work with. Perfect size for two couples.

The Best Place to Stay in the Monterey Peninsula

Stay here. Pebble Beach is quiet and charming and you can access Pacific Grove and Carmel without being on Highway 1 and the hideous congestion. The house was immaculately clean. The hardwood floors keep the mold away. The arrangement of a separate wing for the MBR & bath would make it easy for two couples to be there with no problem. Very nicely decorated, everything in working order, good heating and lots of hot water, a usable garage (with opener), and level once in the house up 3 steps. The kitchen is great. In short, perfectly maintained and an exceptionally good value for the money. Comstock Cottage is just as described and could not be better.

Charming Comstack Cottage

My husband and I had a wonderful experience working with the owners of this beautiful property. The home is clean, nicely decorated and doesn't feel like a vacation rental. The kitchen is nicely equipped and that was important to us because we like the option of cooking while on vacation. The location to the ocean, golf course restaurants and Monterey is a huge plus. Once we figured out all the streets we were able to get to the Monterey Aquarium without getting on the highway. It's so quiet and peaceful. We hope to make another trip back next year. I would recommend this home to friends or family.
