beautiful place! we spent our honeymoon here and everything was excellent! Communication was great, self check-in easy and the ocean views/sounds of the waves were amazing! Quiet and calm, close to a lot of restaurants and shopping. AC and wifi worked very well. Could see the sea turtles in the water from the balcony. We cooked a lot of meals at the condo and everything was provided that one would need. Would stay again!

We loved the location of this condo. It has wonderful views and is right in-between all the activities we did. We hiked in Waimea Canyon, caught a catamaran/snorkling tour to the Na Pali coast, went mountain tubing, enjoyed time at Hanalei Bay, and did other hikes. This is a perfect location to get to all these. The kitchen is well stocked and we enjoyed having towels, beach chairs, etc. supplied for us. Watching the sea turtles from the lanai is wonderful as well.

Great honeymoon stay!

My husband and I enjoyed 5 nights of our honeymoon here and it was unbelievable. The pictures donā€™t do the view justice - being able to see turtles and star gaze from the balcony was priceless. We are already planning on staying here again in the future!

Wonderful stay

We loved the location of the property and listening to the ocean at night. We were able to see sunrises and sunsets daily which we thoroughly enjoyed. We would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful location!

Beautiful location and close to a lot what we wanted to do. Furnishings are quite nice. The bed was so comfortable and slept quite well. Nice having all we needed to make our stay easy and convenient. Spoke with Anne, property manager, so kind and sweet! We will be back in the future!

Just a little piece of paradise

This location and unit was perfect for our vacation needs. I wanted to be able to relax and unwind. We spent each day enjoying the turtles in the cove. Getting to hear the sounds of the ocean everyday was so calming. The unit is lovely and well appointed.

We really enjoyed the condo. It was clean, updated and had everything we needed. We like to have a washer and dryer in unit but they have a laundry room on each floor which is convenient. It was exactly as pictured in the photos. The bed was firm and very comfortable. We loved the location. We are planning to return to Kauai and book this same place we liked it so much.

True Hawaii!

We had the pleasure of staying here for a week in July, and it was fabulous! The condo was absolutely perfect for us, and since it was centrally located it made our daily excursions a breeze to get to. I would recommend Kuhio Shores to everyone that was in search of a relaxing wonderful stay. We are already looking forward to our next visit and stay at Poipu but especially Kuhio Shores.. If you want the true feel an experience of Hawaii, this is the place!!!

Great Condo in Kauai

We stayed in this lovely condo in Kauai. The condo was nice and clean and right on the water. We were able to see turtles every night which was a plus. Check in process was easy and the management team was receptive. Thank you for the beach towels they worked great! The only thing I would say that was a little off, was the bed was very uncomfortable. However, some may like super firm beds. My husband usually likes firm, but even for him it was too much. Other than that, it was a great place. Thank you again.

Great location

What we loved most about our stay at Kuhio Shores was the great location. The complex was clean and quiet; located between a restaurant and the bay. Across the street was a park. This location for us was much more attractive than the many resorts in Poipu, in terms of density and traffic. From our deck, we enjoyed watching the Green Sea Turtles frolic in the surf, the crabs scurrying among the lava rocks, and the BEAUTIFUL sunrises and sunsets. We also enjoyed the Rose-ringed Parakeets (parrots) that roosted each night in the Palm Trees (although parking under those trees resulted in poop bombs on the car; you have been warnedšŸ˜œ). Sight unseen, I felt like we made the right choice for OUR Kauai vacay.

Modern Living close to the action

This is a one bedroom condo that has recently upgrade and is very nicely appointed. If you like to cook on your vacations you will find everything you need except the food. We slept with the sliding door and windows open which provide a nice breeze and the sound of the ocean put us to sleep each night. Most of what is interesting in this area is walkable. We walked all the way down the coast to Poipu Beach no problem and there is a lot of great dining within an easy drive. Also it seemed liked everything we wanted to do, dinner cruise (Port Allen), Kipu Ranch four wheeling or charter fishing out of Lihue were all about 25 minutes away, very convenient since driving long distances at night in Kauai is not a lot of fun. This is a good location if you want to enjoy the South Side of the island.

Beautifully Renovated Condo in a Great Location

Not sure why there hasn't been more reviews posted for this place since it has been booked solid this year. This condo is a perfect size for a couple. It has been beautifully renovated, is comfortable to hangout in, and the kitchen had everything we needed. The Pros: wonderful location, great view, quiet complex, no-problem parking, WIFI worked well, great snorkeling beach just steps away. Potential Cons: no pool, which I consider a pro since I wouldn't use it anyway and the lack of one cuts down on the noise factor from kids; noisy waves ... hard to believe this might be a problem, but we had to close some of the windows to hear the TV, but it did cut down what little road noise there was; no A/C, which I normally wouldn't use anyway, but these units can be very warm especially in the morning since they face the rising sun. Finally, we had a real weird problem trying the change channels on the TV which may be the fault of the cable service, not the TV. Overall, I would definitely recommend this unit and I would return.

My kinda place!

I really have absolutely nothing negative to say. This place was wonderful! If you don't like a big fancy resort with all the blah, and like a nice quiet private condo right on the water where you can watch the turtles every day, this is it. Months ago I requested a table and chairs outside and voila! The sun is very powerful and hits the patio pretty hard, but it's great early AM and evening. Kitchen was well equipped enough and hosts were incredibly thoughtful in all things throughout! Would stay again in a heartbeat!

A great location and wonderful unit. There were a few minor issues such as the living room ceiling fan not working, however, the management company was ready to come out to fix if required.
