Romantic Cottage directly on private Double Bay Beach, Bahamas, "Senza Nome"

Double Bay beach cottage is right on the dune, just steps away from the water. Built in the 1940s, it was the very first structure on Double Bay. The porch provides lovely views up and down the beach. A great place to read, have lunch or relax with a rum punch.
The cottage consists of a living room with kitchenette; a bedroom with a queen size bed, bureau and a nook with shelves, hanging rod and hooks; and a small bathroom with shower. There's also an outdoor shower at the back door, thatched Bahamian style.

We received a very warm welcome from Steve. The cottage could not be lovelier. Ultimately it's all about the beach, which my husband commented in photos to friends: We gladly traded this for the Super Bowl.

The house is just as pictured. You have the ocean at your front door. Everything you needed was supplied, even flash lights and a small battery operated lantern. Which we needed as power went out several times for short periods. Steve was attentive and available if we needed him.

This was our 4th time to stay on the beautiful island of Eleuthera and it amazes us every time. We stayed in both the cottage and the studio and both were clean and stocked with everything you need. Incredible Paradise

1952 Cottage that had everything you could possibly want. The view is spectacular - you can't get much closer to the beach than this place. We love love love staying here and will be back again next year for our third stay.

Excellent location!

You can't get closer to the beach than this cottage. From the porch facing the waves, there is total privacy. The mid-Eleuthera location makes everything easy to get to. Ten Bays beach is 5 minutes away.

Like your own piece of heaven

We came here to celebrate our daughterā€™s graduation with her. As soon as we arrived she couldnā€™t stop saying ā€œwowā€ and ā€œitā€™s so amazing!ā€ The views right from the little cottage make you feel like you are in a movie. The hosts were incredibly helpful, checked in on us and gave us great tips on where to go in the area. We felt very safe and at home right away. We will be back!!

My husband and I loved our stay at Senza Nome, right on a beautiful blue ocean. Everything you need if you decide to cook meals at cottage. Ten bay beach 10 mins away is calm and shallow water and you can walk out along way. Many places to eat close by, great food. We can't wait to visit again!

Perfect getaway

The location of this little cottage could not have been more perfect. We checked out several other beaches on the island and honestly felt like this was the best! The house is nothing fancy but had everything we needed and was perfect for us. It is a clean, quaint little cottage with a beautiful view of the beach right out the back door. Will definitely be back.

We had the best time staying at Senza Nome while attending a wedding at a venue just down the beach. Our favorite part of every day was opening the back door and spending our time right on the amazing beach. The accommodations were simple but perfect for what we needed as we spent all of our time out on adventures or on the beach.

Our family has been coming to Eleuthera for the past 25 years. My name is Lisa, and in 2014, my parents decided to purchase this house in order to keep visiting the Bahamas regularly and to bring our families together. I currently live in the city of Kitchener, Ontario Canada with my husband and 2 young children. I have loved this island my entire life and visited regularly as my uncle also owns a property on Double Bay. I was ecstatic when we decided to purchase this property and took on the role of managing the VRBO rentals. My family and I visit twice yearly and we love the beach, the quiet and the island charm. My parents also will visit the island for 3-4 months of the year, when they are not travelling all over the world for their work. I also have a brother who is married and together they have 2 young children. Our family welcomes you to the Bahamas! We hope that you love it as much as we do.

We selected this home as we loved the property itself with its wide beach frontage, open spaces, crooked palm trees and array of plants. The property also had 3 separate living spaces making it ideal for visitors and guests. We loved the main house as it sprawls along the ocean, giving incredible views in each room. With the additional cottage and studio, it has been an incredible space to host larger groups without compromising your privacy.

O que faz essa propriedade ser Ćŗnica?

The property is situated on Double Bay beach, which in my opinion is the nicest beach on Eleuthera. Since the property is located mid-island, it is an ideal spot to explore both the north and southern parts of the island. Additionally, the road to the property is in relatively good condition and easy to access (as some properties can be challenging to get in and out of).
