I do appreciate your business, to be fair I acquired the property last year and have been making improvements. Appliances are new and are working properly, twin beds are also new and do not require a box spring, however I will take in consideration your findings and make changes accordingly. An most recently we have purchased an entire new living room set including lamps and new areas rugs. My focus and goal is to have a place where families can be comfortable and enjoy there stay. I did not make an investment to have family dissatisfy, surely I will keep improving as I have been since the acquisition. Pictures onsite can confirm and reflect this.

I'm genuinely disappointed by this review, especially given the context surrounding your stay. I want to clarify a few important points. The images you referenced were sent prior to your departure, not upon arrival or shortly thereafter. Had they been shared earlier, I would have absolutely considered offering a refund or arranging for additional cleaning services. In fact, I did reach out to my cleaning service to return and address the concerns, but I was told not to bother, which I found surprising. Regarding the grill, it had already been set aside to be discarded, and was not intended for guest use. As for the other issues, I did apologize and offered to personally come out during your second week when my handyman was unavailable, but that offer was declined. In my ten years of hosting, I’ve rarely felt the need to respond to guest reviews. However, in this case, I feel compelled to speak up. From the beginning, it felt as though there was an agenda to pressure me for a refund, with the threat of posting negative photos if I didn’t comply. I do not take kindly to blackmail tactics, and I will not allow anyone to twist my hand for their gain—even if it means losing future bookings. I strive to provide a welcoming and clean environment for all my guests, and I take feedback seriously. But fairness and honesty must go both ways.
