Enjoy everything Corpus Christi and North Padre Island has to offer and then come home to relax in our beautiful and inviting home equipped with free WiFi and sleeps 8 comfortably with 2 queens, 2 full bunks and a queen sleeper sofa. French doors in the master bedroom and large sliding glass doors in the dining room give direct access to the outdoor living area, swimming pool and spa, making entertaining easy.

This is the perfect family get-a-way home with fully appointed kitchen and baths...just bring groceries and you are ready to go! Island time is a beautiful thing to experience - come on down!

This house was perfect for our winter get away, it was big, bright and clean. The pool and hot tub was amazing and relaxing. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking and grilling. The location was quiet, convient, just perfect. Close beach, shopping, and restaurants. The owner was very responsive, friendly and he answered our questions quickly. We would stay here again.

Awesome location and a super fair price

Host was great. Enjoyed it so much we extended our stay through May and will likely stay through end of July.

Perfect for long term

I stayed here while inwas working in corpus. The owners were great to deal with, the neighborhood was quite. I will definitely look for this property every time i come down for any extended stay

Beautiful home

We enjoyed our long weekend here. The house was fully stocked with everything imaginable. Beds were very comfortable and a nice quiet neighborhood as well. The pool and hot tub were amazing g after a long day at the beach. A beautiful home and we will definitely return next summer! Thank you Kristi for your hospitality!

Back Yard Living

Perfect size for family and friends. We lived in the back yard. Loved everything about the place. The owner -Dennis - was a huge help to me when I had some minor car issues. He was a true blessing and advised me where to go to get the help I needed. Shout out to neighbor -Mat- who was also a tremendous help. We had a wonderful time and hope to go again.

Great month in paradise!

We spent a great month here escaping winter. The house was very clean, well stocked and comfortable. Any problems encountered were graciously and promptly taken care of. The pool is not heated - too chilly to use in February so we made up for that by using the hot tub all the time! The beaches are close by and we really enjoyed being able to drive for miles on them. There are great places to eat and fresh seafood to fix at home is plentiful. We really enjoyed the nearby National Seashore. The owner and manager were wonderful to work with - thanks for making our stay so successful.

Wonderful Home

We had a blast on our trip here! The home is wonderful, in an excellent location and in a nice neighborhood. The beach is literally a 2 minute drive and you couldn't ask for a more beautiful clean beach. We use VRBO quite often and have rented vacation homes many times in the past, this is most definitely to most enjoyable stay we have had. The pictures do not give this place justice on how great it really is! We have a family of 5 and kids ages of 18, 13 and 6 all were very happy here and everyone had a great time. Everything was very clean and well stocked with anything you could possibly need and an amazing pool to hang out in. I would recommend this home to anyone and we plan to stay here again next year.

Perfect for relaxing

Our vacation was at the end of June. The house was perfectly situated 2-3 mins from the beach, but in a residential neighborhood so it was very quiet and private. We had everything we needed in the kitchen and the house was beautifully decorated and well maintained, even nicer looking than the pictures. My husband liked in particular that we could go from the kitchen through the utility room to the pool...No need to use the sliding glass doors. We could keep the dirt and the wet towels/swimsuits from spreading through the house and the air conditioning IN the house.....kids. The wifi worked very well, and there was a huge TV...but we never turned it on. Although there are purportedly several good restaurants in the area, we grilled poolside every night. Mustang Island State Park is very clean, the water was clear enough to see our feet....which we weren't expecting. We tried to go to the beach in Port Aransas, but decided it just wasn't anywhere near as nice as Mustang Island State Park, so we packed up and headed back. Port Aransas is a cute little town with more restaurants and touristy stuff, about 15/20 mins away, but we both liked the more secluded, less commercial feel of the area the house was located in much better. The owner was very nice and helpful (particularly by directing us to the HEB grocery store BEFORE we hit the island). The island had stores to buy beachy things and the basics. It was only about 10-12 mins over the causeway back to HEB if we needed anything more. We will definitely be back, and next time we want to try the "Riding Horses by the Beach", looks like it gets great reviews. This was definitely one of our most relaxing vacations ever. We didn't want to leave.

Dream vacation at this wonderful home

We have stayed in many rentals on Padre Island over the past 20 years and this was by far our favorite. Our host was fantastic to talk with and made sure we had everything we needed. She even had her pool manager stop by to show us how to properly work the hot tub. We are a family of 4 that vacationed with my in‐ laws as we have a few other times over the years and we were all very comfortable. The house is great but having that private pool and hot tub is just beyond compare. We will definitely be back next year...or maybe this fall if we can squeeze in the time. Our one tiny recommendation would be to upgrade to a Keurig...we make the most of our vacations with late nights and early mornings so coffee is essential (but we survived). Thanks for a magical week!

Very disappointed!!!

Do not rent this place. The pictures make the place look way better than what you get. When we arrived, the hot tub was half full and not working. No instructions. Called and left a message regarding the hot tub on Monday, it not until Thursday the pool guy came out to fix it. Place was dirty, there was 15 towels in the dryer that I had to fold. Pretty sure that is why there is a cleaning fee to take care of that. Additionally, light bulbs were out and we could not take out the trash due to all bins full. You will spend a ton of money on this place and will be disappointed!

Backyard Oasis

The pool was Awesome. The hot tub did not seem to have a working heater so it stayed the same temp as pool but it was still nice. The house was great and accomodated the family with room to spare. The owners are fantastic about responding super quick to any issues you might have. Overall a great property!

Christmas stay

Property was fine. Close to the beach and restaurants. Had to call to get the access code, however, Kristi was very helpful in getting us the code and recommending places to eat and explained how to work the pool lights and spa. Will stay again.

Enjoyable summer home

Beautiful property that is also very close to the beach. The kids enjoyed the pool and we were able to have an intimate family dinner. The host is very pleasant, responsive and accommodating.

Chateau Relaxo is Relaxing

The is our second stay here. We arrived at the house, got settled in, put on our swimsuits and did not put street clothes on again until it was time to leave! The pool, spa, and covered patio are amazing! Aside from showering and sleeping we were in the backyard the entire time. 6 adults and we all had an awesome time. We would definitely stay there again!
