3 bedroom, 1 bath home on 15 wooded acres on Long Pond in Lakeville Massachusetts. The home is situated on a beautiful piece of property with a large yard between the home and the lake. You will have access to a private beach, boat ramp and dock.

Stay and enjoy the peace of the lake or use the home as a launching point to explore New England. Only 20 minutes from Cape Cod, 40 minutes from Providence and 45 minutes from Boston.

The home has a master suite with Queen Bed and 2 twin beds. Bedroom 2 has two twin beds and Bedroom 3 has bunk beds. The kitchen was remodeled in 2013.

It's a very comfortable place for a family. The host is very accommodating and easy to contact. We have stayed here a few times for the holidays and it has become a special pace for us.

Perfect spot great home and property Only downside was there was no propane for the BBq but I honestly didn’t check to see if a bbq was available before arrivingWe will be back, hopefully for a longer stay to enjoy the great hiking and biking in area

Second Stay at this lake cabin

It is getting better all the time. Some upgrades since the last time. It is so peaceful and beautiful place. Very clean and has lots of room. Can't wait to stay here again.

Absolutely loved the privacy and beauty of this lake house. Wish the master bedroom bed was more comfortable, but other than that it was fantastic. The property is well stocked and about 15 minutes to a large supermarket. Grill works great!

Comfortable, pleasant getaway

Lovely spot. Extremely clean property. Comfortable. Nice big yard. Fun lake to swim and kayak in. We enjoyed just taking it slow and relaxing in a laid back environment. Good Tech/TV connections.

Home Away From Home

This was our 4th time staying in the past year and the second year spending our wedding anniversary here. It is a lovely, peaceful home where we can get away and enjoy the lake, sit by the fire, play cribbage, read, and exhaust our pup. He loves it here so much and swims until we have to lead him away. We absolutely love this property and we will be back.

We enjoyed the property. We did not spend a lot of time at the property which upset us because it was so cute. If we had more time, we definitely would’ve enjoyed the property more I would 100% recommend.

Peaceful Lakeside Getaway

This was our third stay here. It is a truly peaceful place to get respite from the day to day plus our dog could not be happier here. He swims and plays until he is stumbling around like a drunken sailor. We actually have to take him inside so he will nap. We will definitely be back.

Perfect Lake house getaway!

The home had everything we could possibly need or want! Kitchen was very well stocked with cookware and utensils! Outdoor space is just perfect for anything from fishing off the dock, floating in the lake on a raft, or lounging on the little beach! Plenty of space for outdoor games, we brought corn hole, badminton, and croquet! Just a perfect vacation rental! Already booked for next year same time!

Perfect getaway

My brother's and booked this house to bring our mother back to visit with her 4 brothers for her 80th birthday. This was perfect to have guests over with plenty of room. Owners even allowed us to park our motorhome on the property. It is a bit tricky to see the turn off to the private rode even with the sign. We were there just in time to have all the fall colors in the trees.

Beautiful and quiet but near so much!

This house was well kept. It sits on a pretty spacious property looking out at the water! We felt secluded away from the hustle bustle but 30 minutes from everything that we wanted to do! My kids loved Thomasland and also going to Plymouth Rock. After exploring all day we came back to the quiet house. My kids would play in the lake or relax watching tv. Before we even left everyone was planning our next visit 😊

Nice location. Needs updates and better cleaning

Property location is great. Views were beautiful and nice neighborhood for walks. Needs to have a bit more updating (like kitchen pans for example). Needs a bit more attention to cleaning like under beds and sofa, sticky utensils, etc. Closets and some drawers seemed to have personal stuff or things left by others.

Beautiful location

The location was amazing. So peaceful and tranquil. We spent a few nights with family for my son’s graduation. The home comfortably slept 8 and had plenty of room for us all to relax and eat. The yard was huge and our dog enjoyed running around in freedom. He saw a few rabbits which were his highlight! My husband fished each day and caught pickerels, and small mouth all off the dock. I wish we could have stayed longer. Thank you for a great home base for our family!

My son, granddaughter and myself were in Massachusetts for my mother’s funeral. This home was perfect for what we needed. It took the edge off of why we were there. Absolutely beautiful surroundings. The dryer broke and I called the handyman . He came the same day and apologized for our having to be inconvenienced ( we weren’t) The ONLY issue was the moldy smell coming up from the basement which permeated the entire house. We were able to get rid of it somewhat by opening windows. Other than that we were extremely pleased.

So Peaceful

Both the hosts (Mary & Stephen) were very good about communication. Easy to contact them via email.House is very clean, comfortable and roomy. Boat launch on property is a big bonus and a nice dock. We had 4 day heat wave and spent the whole time in the water and sitting by the beach. House was cool and comfortable. Fishing was amazing. Pickerels, white perch and yellow perch is what he caught every single day there.Beds are comfortable and HOT showers. We are definitely hoping to come back again and we highly recommend this property for vacation.

Weekend on the lake

We stayed for a long weekend, fishing and relaxing and ultimately going to gillette stadium for acdc concert. Cabin was perfect. Location was amazing.

Peaceful and relaxing

We enjoyed our stay at the Lakeside Cottage very much. It was lovely, relaxing, and beautiful. The cottage was immaculately clean and spacious. The October foliage was still vibrant when we were there. The view of the lake out all the windows was gorgeous. Very private, peaceful, and relaxing.

Peaceful Getaway

Quiet, private, scenic, and very clean. It was perfect for our family getaway. The home was very spacious and lots of room for family meals and games. We would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful!

We stayed for a couple of nights until we closed on our house. It was a great quiet spot with a phenomenal view on the lake. We would definitely recommend a stay during any season.

Perfect w/ boat!

Had a wonderful weekend excursion. Brought fishing boat and used dock overnight. Enjoyed sunrise & sunset. House had everything needed for beautiful end of summer day on water and crisp cold nights.

A Home for All Seasons in Lakeville!

What a Pretty Town and What an Ideal Location for this Home by the Lake! You will want to stay Outside and Savor the Surroundings! It is so Peaceful and Quiet! All was Clean and in Order inside the Home, too! A most Comfortable and Cozy Home for All Seasons! We would definitely look forward to returning but in September on a Gorgeous Fall Day, it is Definitely the Place to be! Thank You to the Owners for allowing us to rent!
