Very private setting on the west end of Crystal Lake. Large Great Room, Large Dinning room and galley kitchen.
Master Bedroom with Bathroom and queen bed, Guest room and bathroom not attached. Lower Level huge room with 2 queen beds, 2 twin beds.
Beautiful sandy beach and dock with fishing boat.
Check in time 4:00. Check out time 10:00am
Great fishing lake. Also full boating lake with public launch.
Kitchen included double oven, dishwasher with all the plates and dishes you will need. Charcoal grill
Large deck with steps down to lake.
Close to Lake Michigan and Silver Lake Sand dunes. Golf, horseback riding, pet farm and wine tasting all close by. Great bike trail also with bike rental available.

Annual fishing trip

The place was great, and Theresa was pleasant and helpful! Crystal lake is beautiful, and was calm and quiet in the evenings! Would definitely recommend the house if you’re looking for a place to stay in the area!

Beautiful location!

We had 6 adults and two teens and everyone had a great time! The beach was sandy, there were enough water toys for everyone, and the lower patio was a perfect spot to lounge the day away! Our host was friendly and there to answer any questions we had. The property being located on a vineyard/ winery was a beautiful bonus. There was plenty of room for our group, and we would definitely come back again! Thanks for a great week!

We had an absolutely amazing week in this cozy home nessled on Crystal Lake. We had 3 of our nieces children ages 8, 10 and 12. Between fishing, kayaking, paddle boarding and swimming, there was never a dull moment. The kids also spend time at the Silver Lake Sand dunes, Mac Woods Dune rides and Craigs Cruisers. Another fun day was spent at Lewis Petting Farm. Theresa, the owner of the property was very friendly and accommodating. The home was well stocked with cooking supplies, towels etc. This was definitely a fun week to remember.

Relaxing week away

This is one of the best VRBO we stayed at .Enjoyed staying on the water,at the Vineyard. This site is perfect for visiting areas along the west side of the state The Sorensen family is very nice and made our stay feel like being at home The home was well stocked and we enjoyed the home feel We will be back again!!

Peaceful

This property is not only peaceful but beautiful inside and out. We loved just sitting out and looking at the lake as well as jumping off of the huge raft. The house had everything anyone would need. Would love to return someday.

Summer in Hart

We had a delightful time at this lovely spot. The house is very roomy with a large deck for enjoying the outdoors and dining. The lake is quiet and serene. We enjoyed kayaking, and making s’mores in the evening. This was our second trip here. Hope to return again sometime.

Family vacation

The house was perfect for my family. Plenty of room for everyone to spread out. The house was well stocked. We swam, fished, and even made smores one night. Weather was perfect all week. Its a beautiful area with lots to do. We had many different ages in our group and was able to find something for everyone. Theresa met us at the house upon arrival and was a great host.

Fabulous property perfect for family holidays!!

If you are looking for a getaway with a terriffic water view, with all the amenities you can think of, near to all the cool things to do but which still offers the atmosphere of a private oasis when you are done with your wanderings for the day, this house is for you!!! We kayaked and fished (caught 6!) and cooked healthy meals in a well equipped kitchen. We hopped over to the dunes and parks and surrounding towns and reveled in the country side. When we got home in the afternoons on days we wandered, we were grateful for our good fortune in finding this place.. you could never wander any where and be content too!!

Life Long Memories Made

We can't say enough nice things about the property or the host. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend this home to others. We didn't use a lot of the amenities for we just needed a place to sleep and cook a couple of meals. Like others have said, AC throughout the house would have been welcomed for the breeze was nonexistent for our stay but the host did everything to ensure we were comfortable. We had family staying at another house around the beautiful lake and we spent the majority of our time with them but renting the house saved us an 60 min drive ea night. Wouldn't hesitate renting from again.

Amazing in Michigan

First off, the property is amazing. The house is clean and quite large. The views from the house and the deck are fabulous. Although, the patio down by the lake is where you'll spend all your time, whether on the chairs relaxing, using the available kayaks and paddle board or just sitting by a fire looking at millions of stars. All the amenities you could ever want are there. Theresa, owner/property manager, is a fantastic host and is always willing to talk about the property and its history. She is very proud of her family's property, as she should be. The winery on property is a huge bonus. The wine is great, the staff is friendly and live music on the weekends. We stayed for a week, and it was thoroughly enjoyable. It is conveniently located less than 10min from Shelby, Hart and Silver Lake. Huge thanks to Theresa and her family

The property was as advertised. Very peaceful and private and the lake was really nice also. Sandy bottom with gradual slope out to deeper water, which the grandkids enjoyed. We also made use of the included kayaks, paddleboard and the 2-man fishing boat. The boat only has a battery powered electric trolling motor and the battery is provided. The house had plenty of space for the 6 of us. The owner lives right next door and was very responsive to any questions we had. There is also a winery on the property and it was fun to be able to walk over to the tasting room. The owner has a couple of large very friendly dogs that like to wander over for some attention and we enjoyed that.A few suggestions for some minor improvements that could be made. Label the kitchen cabinets/drawers so that you don't have to search through them every time to find things. Replace the TV's with Smart TV's so that people staying there can setup streaming to their own Netflix, Prime, etc accounts. The basic DirectTV package was pretty worthless in our opinion. Replace the burned out bulbs in the recessed lighting. Change the shower curtain setup in the master bath, there was barely enough room to turn around without the curtains sticking to you.Overall, it was a fun place to stay and we would definitely stay there again.

Quiet and peaceful getaway

We were very pleased with our week long stay here. We had two couples and my mom and there was more than plenty of room. The upper bedrooms were spacious and loved the big walk in closets. The lower room with multiple beds had a nice bathroom. The linens and towels were all nice and there were PLENTY for everyone. While the cottage doesn’t have AC (very common for the area) the house was never uncomfortably hot and the host provided plenty of fans to use and there are also ceiling fans. The deck has a lovely view of the lake and plenty of outdoor dining space, as well as very comfy loungers and a nice propane grill. The lake itself is clear and very pleasant to swim in. It’s not a very busy lake at all.. making it great for fishing and very serene. The husbands made great use of the provided fishing boat, which was a huge bonus. We also enjoyed having kayaks, a paddle board, and a floating dock/pad to lay out on. And it was nice to have lounge chairs down by the water as well as a fire pit to enjoy in the evening (with provided firewood!). Upon arrival we were pleasantly surprised that the house is on a beautiful vineyard! It was very convenient to walk up to, the property is gorgeous and there was a wide variety of delicious wine! Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and felt the place was very comfortable and spacious. We would definitely rent here again!

Great summer getaway

Nice big house. It was perfect for our family. Kids and grandkids enjoyed catching minnows and if course the fire for making s'mores. Love this part of Michigan!

Family Getaway

We had an enjoyable week playing in the lake, biking on the bike trail and exploring Silver Lake State Park. The house was very clean and the kitchen was one of the best we’ve ever had in terms of quantity of dishes and quality of cooking pans. It was nice to have a dining table big enough for all of us to sit around. Would definitely stay here again.

Family Time

Our group enjoyed the lake house stay. This home is very large and well stocked, held our group well, plenty of beds for everyone that came and went. The only down side is there is no air conditioning, and we had a very hot week! Other than that, just sorry I didn’t make over for wine tasting.

Great vacation!

Really enjoyed our stay! Large home with room for our party of 10. Boys enjoyed fishing off the dock and in the small motor boat. Kayaks were a hit with them as well. Able to use the floating pad to soak in the sun. Close to Silver Lake, Ludington, and Pentwater for day activities, plus close to the bike trail. Kitchen was really nice! Showers had great pressure and no hot water issues for our large group Full size washer/dryer. This was a great vacation home!

Everything provided!

This is a lovely rental. Anything that we needed was available. And any questions we had were answered nearly immediately. The house is lovely. It has plenty of room. And the access to the lake is perfect! We highly recommend this property!

Summer getaway

We really enjoyed our summer getaway staying at this home on Crystal Lake in Hart. It was very clean and comfortable, with nice furnishings and a well-stocked kitchen. We found it very relaxing, as it is in a quiet rural area on a small lake without a lot of motorboats or other watercraft. The view from the deck overlooking the lake was pretty, and a good place to have morning coffee and dinner meals. The location is convenient to Ludington and the Silver Lake sand dunes and lighthouse. We also enjoyed the fish boil in Shelby. Wish we could have stayed longer!

Great Family Vacation

Lots of space! We had our 2 adult children, spouses and 4 grandchildren. The weather was not so nice for a bit of the time but there was enough space that it wasn't a problem. There was a new swim platform that worked out great for our young grandchildren and they loved the shallow water at the shoreline.

Nice Stay

The home is very well equipped with a massive amount of utensils and appliances in the kitchen area, including some seasonings; and tons of towels and linens. The deck is large and shaded, with a great view of the water. It was nice to have the fishing boat and kayaks available, and a washer and dryer to use. The owners are easy to work with and quick to respond.

plenty of room, solitude, well supplied

House allowed for nice isolation from other sleeping areas. kitchen well stocked with appliances, gadgets and accessories. lake was high, but refreshing and clean. All enjoyed boating, kayaks and swim platform. games, videos, puzzles, its all there. only negative was it was advertised as having air conditioning. Upon arrival, only 1 portable was available and filter was dirty. Other unit not available until inquired about. It helped but would have been nicer when in the 90s earlier in week. Loved having market nearby in Hart and took advantage of the beach and dunes at Silver Lake. Would recommend for future rentals.

Great location for family vacation

This is a wonderful property. It had just about everything we needed. Great location to many attractions, yet still very secluded for a nice, quiet vacation if that’s what you prefer. Our kids loved playing in and around the water and we enjoyed watching them from the deck. We would love to go back here in the future!
