Our beach is a true "Hidden Gem" for swimming, snorkeling or relaxing on a sandy beach. Enjoy 2 swimming pools , on site restaurant and close to local shopping and activities. Our beautiful One Bedroom, 1 Bathroom Corner home is the perfect getaway! Located on the 5th floor of the Aloha Tower featuring ocean views toward Molokai and also views of the West Maui Mountains.

Maui Ka’anapali Villas is situated on 11 acres of beautiful ocean and beachfront property, lushly landscaped, exotic tropical gardens with breathtaking views of the islands of Lanai and Molokai.

Resort amenities include Castaways Restaurant, 2 tropical pools, complete with umbrellas and Jacuzzi, a kid’s pool and BBQ grills. Resort also features shuffleboard, small fitness center, a laundry facility, an on-site activity beach shack for kayaking, snorkeling, sailing, canoeing, stand up paddle and cabana rentals.

Activities to do off the resort are 2.8 mile Ka’anapali Beachwalk, a spectacular Oceanside trail connecting all of the Ka’anapali beach resorts and restaurants, 4 nearby Championship Golf Courses, Tennis at Royal Lahaina Tennis, snorkel or swim at Black Rock or Honolua Bay. Fantastic Shopping and fine restaurants are minutes away at Whalers Village.

Was a spacious 1 bed with an adjacent additional family room. Nice view of the ocean with small balcony that worked perfectly for the two of us to sit outside for morning coffee.

Beautiful place

We would love to stay here again. We made use of all the kitchen amenities, beach chairs, and umbrella. So spacious and comfortable. The pool was great and the proximity to the beach is perfect. We love this place!

We love the location. Beautiful private beach in the same property. The condo is very clean and very well equipped. Laundry room on-site. This is our second time booking this condo and we loved it.

Great location and views

The condo had everything that we needed: central Ac, beach towels, beach chairs, cooler, ect. There is a small restaurant in the property and makes everything super convenient. The property beach is amazing. Definitely would come back to this property.

Love this property! Great beach! Castaways restaurant on site is a huge plus! This room is lovely with a very nice view and well equipped. We will return! Hopefully soon!

Very comfortable

Condo was neat, clean, close to everything. Bed was super comfortable. Owner were available and very helpful. Condo was very well stocked. A pleasure. Hated to leave!

Great Location

The property was very clean and well stocked. The location was perfect. We didn’t get a car but with the trolly and the walking path, we could get to many restaurants and shopping. The beach at our location was beautiful and we saw many turtles. We rented a cabana two of our four days. It was quiet on our side of the beach. This is a great property and we can’t wait to come back! Thank you.

great place

This is the third time we have stayed in this condo but the 7th time we have been to this resort. This unit is the best outfitted unit as far as utensils and spices and condiments. The unit is large enough for two people, the bed is awesome and the bath supplies were great. Dan and Christine are so easy to work with. See you again soon.

Wonderful stay!

We enjoyed our stay again on Maui ! This condo was lovely and had a nice peekaboo view of the ocean. We loved being so high up. Bed was very comfortable and the place was clean and beautiful. Only downside was the road noise - being on the 5th floor this was much more noticeable. Kitchen was adequately stocked (except for potholders 😉), and we loved the welcome basket of coffee and banana bread! Communication was great and the whole process was simple - even during Covid times! Mahalo - we can’t wait to come back!

Family vacation

Check in was a breeze , our rooms were clean and had all amenities that we needed. Our balcony was inviting with a spectacular view , sat outside every morning and listened to the birds and watched the water . We had easy access to the pool, and beach . Ate at on site Cast away Cafe daily for breakfast, friendly staff and great food. We found Kaanapali Villas to be inviting and welcoming. Concierge was very helpful in finding us entertainment, but most important, a medical supply rental to rent a wheelchair . Thank you 🙏

Good condo - bad owner/mgmt

Everything was fine until the Maui fires started. At that point, this owner/property manager refused to respond to communication regarding refunds or help. Use this company (STAY MAUI) at your own risk bc they will disappear when you need them most.

Aloha ~ Unfortunately during your stay devastating fires destroyed Lahaina and our home. We were unable to communicate when the island services were down, we helped many of our guest safely leave the island. As we spoke a refund was issued and sorry for the delay.

Find another VRBO in Lahaina

Our experience with this VRBO was terrible. We went to check in after a long day of traveling and the hotel had no reservations for us with any room. The hotel tried calling the property manager many times and never got a hold of him. I tried calling and sending a message but also got no response. They figured out what room we were in based on the listing pictures. We got up to our room and the place did not seem to have been cleaned. The bathrooms were gross, the kitchen had garbage still in the trash and the floors everywhere were dirty. We absolutely loved the location but did not enjoy working with this property manager. Will not stay here again.

OK, not great

The Good: - booking process very simple with good communication - location is great. Very close to beach and nearby activities - family-friendly facility. We had two young kids who had an absolute blast - easy to exchange BEACH towels - providing umbrella/beach chairs was nice The Not-So-Good: - unit was a little dirty (floors mostly - you could feel the dirt on your bare feet) - WiFi didn't work at all - unit was a little bit smaller than the photos made it seem - front desk person was rude/unwelcoming at check-in - pool (which is a notch below the other hotel pools) was cold. They finally turned the heat on 7 days into our 9-day stay. We come to Hawaii to feel warm - the pool should never be kept cold. - not enough clean bath towels provided for a week+ stay. And the front desk staff made it VERY CLEAR not to come ask them for more since they don't own the unit. People don't want to do laundry on vacation, even in a condo setting All in all, we had a good time. But my experiences at nearby hotels were easily better and probably what we will book if we return to Maui.

Its Fine

Overall the location and beach are close to things and great. The unit itself leaves a lot to be desired. Besides the bathroom, the unit is very dated with flaking paint, stains on the wall, older furniture, and funky electronics. The pictures are a bit misleading. The unit is pretty small, for more than 3 people it would be really tight. The kitchen has a mix of pots and pans, bowls etc. They are fine. The living room has a pretty old couch. The AC in the living room just circulated the air in the room. It did not cool things. The AC in the bedroom more than made up for it. We had to use both fans 24/7 to keep it comfortable. The bedroom is fine. plugs are all in awkward spaces and there are not enough of them. Bed was ok Bathroom was big and mostly updated tile, however one of the vents in the ceiling was masking taped to the ceiling, there as visible past water damage in the ceiling nearby. Lanai was small. The view was parking lot with glimpses of ocean and trees. Boogie board and chairs etc were great. The hotel itself was fine. The pool was ok with no view. The beach was good with good snorkeling nearby. The front desk seemed unorganized and messed up our keys when checking in. Parking is there but you may need to hunt a bit. Overall location is good, but don't get your hopes up about the unit itself beyond a place to sleep.

Aloha Dan, Thank you for staying with us in Hale Aloha and Maui Kaanapali Villas. on Ka'anapali Beach. I am sorry the resort and unit were not to your liking. Maui Kaanapali Villas Resort prides itself on the old "Hawaiiana Spirit" now with second generation family members working here. I do apologize as the week before your stay the up stairs unit had a water leak which breached our unit and did not have the time to properly repair and cancelling your stay, which would have been a Larger issue. The furniture is only 4 years old and electronics are Bose products with working instructions. We will review the instructions and make sure are clear so guest understand how to operate. Thank you again

Comfortable room

We have stayed at many times. This is a very comfortable room in the Aloha Tower. There were plenty of supplies provided and we really enjoyed our stay in the room.

Great view of the ocean

The condo was very nice and we enjoyed our stay. We sat out on the deck every morning having our coffee and enjoying the ocean. The master bed was extremely comfortable. My granddaughter said the sofa sleeper was comfortable also. We would definitely stay at this condo again.
