2023 renovated 5 bedroom house located on the back side of ski Windham mountain. located 10 minutes from the town of Windham and 10 minutes from the town of Hunter. sleeps 16 persons ..A fully furnished home with new furniture , 3 king size beds and 1 twin bed , a twin bunk beds, full bed and a Queen size bed, 4 bedrooms have walk in closets , towels, sheets, blankets and pillows, Jacuzzi tub in master bedroom. 4 bathrooms with 2 upstairs and 2 down stairs , full furnished kitchen with all amenities , very clean with granite counter tops/island. washer/ dryer, Spectrum cable company with WIFI with 4 flat LED screen TV mounted on the walls and the Great room tv is a 70” LED smart tv , DVD players , furnished great room with two couches, Foosball table ,and a wood burning stove , 2 gas fireplace with one in the master bedroom and the other in the living room, Ping Pong table/foosball and smart TV , 2 central air conditioning units ,barbecue and a very large stone fire pit outside with adirondack chairs ..Large garage (23'x25') which you can park your vehicle inside and personal storage. land /DEP borders the back of property with many walking/hiking trails leading to the top of the ski windham. Great Spring and Summer getaway to relax and enjoy the mountains …for winter rental ,I do have a plow contract so snow plowing included …


***Horse shoes and bean bag cornhole game are available for summertime use ***

Vidbel Mountain Homestead is a horse farm located in Windham And has a petting zoo which is very kid friendly

Come experience the Hunter Mountain Zipline canopy tour
Play golf without a wait -- there are 6 golf courses in the area
Go hiking, fishing or swimming at North-South Lake State Park.
Hike to Kaaterskill Falls, or to the top of Hunter Mountain.
Go Mountain Biking or rent an ATV and go exploring.
Visit the charming villages of Woodstock, Phoenicia, and Saugerties
Take a side trip the baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown NY, only 70 mins away.

We loved everything about this house. The kitchen is very well stocked and there are several spaces in which to spread out - a game-filled basemant, a family room with a cozy woodstove, and comfortable bedrooms. There were 11 of us and we fit perfectly into all the bedroom spaces. Anthony, the owner, was attentive and always available. We will be back.

Amazing!

We stayed here over the July 4th weekend and had an amazing time. The owner was fantastic—responsive to all our questions and went out of their way to make our stay wonderful. The house itself is beautiful, perched on a hill with stunning views. Everything was clean, including the bathrooms and linens. We especially enjoyed spending time around the firepit in the backyard. Highly recommended!

winter house

The house was the most amazing layout for our family and friends to enjoy after skiing at Windham. We had plenty of room to spread out, kids loved the basement and playing in the woods. There was ample room to have multiple families, to cook, and relax in the fireplace room. It was an awesome retreat after a full day of skiing. The owner was always on hand to communicate with and we truly loved it. Location was great and we would recommend it to anyone!

A perfect Catskills vacation

We were a big group with 5 kids, and the house worked great, Anthony was a great host and helped with everything we needed. We cooked a lot and enjoyed the well equipped kitchen, and after dinner we made s'mores around the great fire pit outside. A perfect Catskills vacation

Wonderful house and host

We were a group of 12 with 3 families and everyone from infants to grandparents thoroughly enjoyed the stay. The firepit was wonderful entertainment and the kids spent hours playing ping pong and foosball. The house is comfortable with ample space and supplies and a great family room that can accommodate the entire group. Would stay here again!

Perfect for 2 families to share for a ski weekend

Great house (layout, space, etc), great furnishings (tempurpedic mattresses etc) was perfect for a ski weekend for 2 families to share. Very close to Windham and Hunter, and the owner couldn't have been more helpful.

Great stay

House was perfect and spacious for our 3 families. Anthony was super responsive and easy to communicate with. Everything worked well and was clean. We skied windham and it was a short drive over.

Excellent Stay in the Beautiful Catskills

Anthony is a great host - we have stayed at this house for the last 3 years and each time the experience has been nothing short of wonderful! The house has amazing views of the surrounding hills from the wraparound porch/deck, a HUGE firepit, treehouse and other cool amenities. Great spot to get away from it all. Inside, very clean and spacious to easily accommodate our large group. Especially enjoy relaxing in the entertainment room and eating meals together in the large kitchen!

Great Place to Stay

This is an amazing house for the price. I was amazed at the size and really impressed with the amount of entertainment it brought for a group of 16. Everything was clean and in order. Anthony was extremely helpful and assisted with everything before we went in and during our stay. Would recommend coming this house again.

Great for group ski trip

Spacious house was great for a few families to gather and ski Hunter Mountain (approx 15 minutes away). Owner is very friendly, communicative and clearly cares a lot about maintaining/improving the property. Great for school age kids & adults. Would return.

Amazing family getaway

If I could give the location more stars I would! Anthony was friendly, communicative, and helpful. The house was clean and spacious- bathrooms all seemed recently renovated and Anthony mentioned future upgrades. All in all it was a spectacular setting for a winter getaway (we even got snow!!)

Nice large house, great for groups

Very nice place, big space, big rooms, plenty of couch space, large tv's in living room, tv's in bedrooms, large garage and back yard, renovated basement with carpete, fooseball, ping pong, small fireplace. Couldn't really ask for more. Great for 10+ people groups. Bedrooms are spacious and modern.

Amazing views, super comfortable for big groups

This is our third summer stay at this house and we loved it. It’s a great place for a relaxing stay for our four families with young children. The basement was recently finished with TV, ping pong, and foozball. There’s a new wrap around deck now for taking in the view of the valley and mountains. The host is very accommodating. You can’t go wrong staying here.

Memorial weekend getaway

We where looking for a Memorial weekend getaway for our family, we were very lucky to find this gem. Anthony the property owner was very nice and walked me thru the process, very approachable, easy to contact. The property on the mountain was perfect for us private, secluded, we found it to be the perfect setup for our family. We had an Awesome bonding weekend.

Beautiful house in a great condition

We had a large group of 11 people staying at the house and skiing for 4 days. The house is in a great condition and very welcoming to those staying in it. The host Anthony has been very helpful and provided all relevant information in a great detail. Quite happy with our stay - we couldn’t have asked for a better experience over the Christmas break!
