This wonderful log style cabin is perfect for a great relaxing getaway! "FREE WiFi"

This wonderful log style home is immaculate in every way, from the beautiful Living room with natural wood vaulted ceilings and stone fireplace, to the new wood floors and wonderful outdoor living spaces. This beautiful designer cabin is filled with high end cabin decor and spa. The kitchen has stainless steel appliances and upgraded granite. A great dining table off the living room is a wonderful place for entertaining and dining. New appliances, custom bathrooms with travertine showers, vaulted natural wood ceilings, wonderful cabin furnishings! wonderful backyard area for relaxing with decks, plants and flowers. Outdoor back deck with furnishings and BBQ area. "FREE WiFi" PETS WELCOME

~No loud Noise after 10 pm
~Rental agreement must be signed prior to check in date.
~No renters under the age 21.
~No smoking indoors
~Deposit money is charged only if damage is reported.
~Firewood is not provided for guest use.
~Guests are required to take their trash to the clean Big Bear trash site. (address provided)
~If you leave trash at the property you will be charged per bag, trash fee
~No beer, wine, lotions, grease, or dirt in the Jacuzzi/spa.
~IT IS BEST TO SHOWER BEFORE YOU USE THE SPA
~ Any lotions, oils, hairspray, sunscreen on your body could turn the water and make it unusable.
~If the spa needs to be drained and filled you will be charged $75 drain and fill fee.
~Guest Services calls after 10 pm are for emergencies only.
~Please leave the property in the same condition as you found it.
~ When available late checkout fee is $75, due after you check-in at the property.

Cozy beautiful cabin

The cabin was exactly as pictured and was very clean. We had the best time in this cozy place. We loved the bear theme. The place was perfect for our family and very quiet. We want to come stay here again!

Cute & spacious

We loved our stay here! The hot tub was awesome, and the house is wonderful. It’s bigger than it looks in the pictures, we fit all 10 adults pretty comfortably. The host was very kind & accommodating. Would definitely recommend!

Great house!

We loved this house. Good neighborhood, quiet, not very much traffic. The back yard was great for chilling in the hot tub, dinner and drinks on the patio. All enclosed so we did not have to worry about our dog or kids leaving the back yard! Plenty of kitchen items to cook, fridge and bbq worked perfect. Couches are well worn but clean. Beds and bathrooms were very clean as was the kitchen. We’ll definitely stay here again!

Rats

We were not comfortable staying there. Upon arrival, my husband found a dead rat in a trap, and there were sticky traps everywhere. We continually found rat droppings throughout the house. Our manager, Megan, was quick to respond. She offered to move us to another location, but we had already unpacked. None of us wanted to take the couple of hours to repack and move out, as it was late. Megan came in the morning to vacuum the floor and furniture, and put sheets on the couch. Like, I said, no one felt very comfortable and we spent as little time as possible in the house. I felt that we should have received a refund, or at least partial, but that was never offered.

Holiday Weekend with Family

At first glance everything thing seems nice. But then when we went into each room several light bulbs were either missing or burnt out making rooms dark. The rollaway beds were either missing slats and sagged or the mattresses were in bad shape. Some of the bedding was old and tearing. When we went in the spa, we could not find extra towels and there were only enough bath towels, one for each person, we had to dry our towel before we could use them for our shower. Supplies were very short, we barely had enough toilet paper to last seven people for three days. We had one small roll of paper towels, which did not last the weekend we were only given four washcloths for seven people. Supplies in the kitchen were at a minimum. If you plan on doing any cooking or baking, you’ll need to bring your own supplies like cookie sheets, a can opener. Don’t assume items will be available, if it’s not listed on the amenities it’s probably not there, like a hair dryer, laundry detergent or wine glasses. Overall we had a nice time. Megan was super responsive and helpful and brought over a few things we needed right away. My kids loved the spa and did morning yoga on the deck. We baked cookies and made pizzas and improvise with a small baking pan.

Disappointed

The main reason I chose this property was for the backyard and jacuzzi, but it was a total disaster. It’s literally falling apart. The jacuzzi itself is fine but the fence is sagging and old and the furniture is actually falling apart. The place is much smaller than it looks and the street is not nice. That said, the cabin itself is cute and cozy, well decorated and clean. If this had been a winter stay with everything covered in snow it would probably have been fine. But for the summer it was a huge disappointment

We had issues with the coffee maker as it contained mold all throughout the coffee maker (I have pictures to show). The stove did not work properly so it was hard to cook anything as only one burner worked.

Reviewer Comments: So overall the property was cute and cozy but could use some TLC .when you walk in the house it smell like smoke you have to leave the front door open so the smell could go out. Recommend them to put air freshener so the house can smell fresh. The fold out beds that are in the closet are broken they need to get new ones. Also the couch bed in the leaving room need to be cleaned under the matters it has trash under it which is gross we couldn’t use it because it was dirty. The extra bedding that you could use needs to be washed it smell like it’s been used we couldn’t use it because it smelled had to go buy detergent so we could use the extra sheets. Bedding on beds could use some better bedding. Also they to get more pots and pans. The house also needs a broom and a vacuum to clean mess that you make well your there.

Cleanliness need

We had a great time at the cabin. The only problem we had was the cleanliness of the home. They need to clean the house better. The house smells when you walk in like cigarette you have to leave the front door open so the smell can go away. We had to go buy freshener so it smelled better. Beds could use some new bedding and cleaner sheets. The extra bedding that you could use need to we washed better not just left not washed from the other people that used it before smells really gross. Couch bed in the front room needs to be cleaned better. We pulled out the bed and all this trash was under the mattress was very gross. Front room couch’s could use a little TLK May they could stream clean so it doesn’t smell like cigarettes. If your going to plan to cook food at the cabin bring own pans not every many to use. Overall the house is really cute and cozy we would like to rent it again. Hope they can give the house a little more Tender loving and care.

Oktoberfest Weekend

Conveniently located close by to the convention center where Oktoberfest was being held. Hot tub was great and plenty of seating in the back porch. The oven door was a bit of a challenge to open and we couldn’t find any oven mits. We all really enjoyed the open dining & living room and the dining table was a nice place to gather.

Weekend Couples Getaway

We had an amazing time during our stay at big bear! This home is close to downtown, grocery stores, and the lake. But the best part was it was on the less “busy” side of the lake so not a lot of traffic going to and from. Mornings were enjoyed having coffee on the front porch looking at glimpse of the mountains while taking in all the fresh air. We enjoyed preparing our own meals and visiting and playing games with friends! The house was spotless with full amenities, great hot tub, and awesome lounging couches for movie night! We even hit up a few yard sales while walking the dog and met some of the wonderful neighbors. Definitely will be back to this property!

Roomy house

House was clean with the exception of the dishes. We had to clean ours before we could use them. Very roomy and well decorated. Quiet at night but a little noisy during the day since its close to the airport. Great location otherwise away from the traffic.

I was pretty bummed that a bbq area was listed but the bbq was not working. Also, the lack of necessities needed for a 4 day stay. . There was only 1 paper towel roll and trash bag, no laundry soap, no hand soap, or bathroom supplies. Other than that, the home was perfect! We would definitely stay there again.

Perfect for Family

The pictures really do not do this place justice ! The interior is beautiful and super clean! The central heat kept the family warm and cozy at night & the neighborhood is very quiet so you definitely feel the relaxation vibe immediately!! Only a few “cons” -The jacuzzi got TOO hot & it was locked so we werent able to turn the temperature down. -The bedrooms are not really for 10 people because there is this HUGE room and then two small rooms so its more for a family of 5. -The dishes were dirty so when i wanted to serve dinner, i had to wash the dishes before use
