Berry Patch is located at 44 South Sundrops Trail, Cullowhee, NC 28723 and is designed with a great room combining the kitchen, dining and living rooms to create an open space featuring a beautiful, stacked stone fireplace for everyone to gather around. Enjoy mountain living at its best on the outdoor patio, which features another wood-burning fireplace for entertaining, alongside a partially fenced green space for privacy and relaxation. Berry Patch is located in a privately gated community known as Sundrops on Caney Fork. The nano-resort offers a clubhouse, pool, fitness center, pedestrian friendly walking trails, and pocket parks for reading or resting. You can also try your luck trout fishing on the banks of the Caney Fork River which runs along over 2,200 feet of the community. The Sundrops clubhouse offers an indoor lounge, fitness center, covered pavilion with large outdoor fireplace, rocking chairs. It even houses an outdoor kitchen complete with grills and smokers for cooking up your favorite meals. Be sure to relax in the chaise lounges alongside the resort style perimeter edge pool and spa or pack a picnic and enjoy tables and seating!

Great stay!

Great time visiting our daughter at Western Carolina University. Berry Patch was the perfect spot - had most everything we needed. Rental was spotless and plenty of room as my sister and her husband joined us from Mt. Pleasant for the long weekend. Sterling at Sundog Vacation Rentals was great to work with - will defintely rent from them again.

The Berry Patch - Thanksgiving Stay

This quiet, relaxing getaway is perfect for a coupleā€”or even two couplesā€”looking to unwind in comfort. The home is thoughtfully set up with two spacious king-sized bedrooms and two full bathrooms, making the layout both convenient and comfortable. One of the highlights was how well-stocked the kitchen was. Nearly everything needed to cook a great meal was provided: pots and pans, utensils, dishes, a crock pot, and even a coffee pot for easy mornings. We also appreciated the small fenced-in backyard, which was perfect for pets, and the outdoor fireplace, which we didn't use this trip but would definitely be a wonderful feature for cooler evenings. There are a few areas that could use some attention. The sleeper sofa is quite uncomfortable and would benefit from new cushions and perhaps an upgraded mattress for better support. A couple of small additionsā€”like foil and plastic wrap in the kitchen, as well as a bundle of wood for the fireplacesā€”would add even more convenience and charm. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would happily return once the couch is repaired or upgraded. The Berry Patch has so much to love, and with just a couple of improvements, it could be even better!

Thanksgiving vacation stay

We enjoyed our stay at this home. The kitchen had all the equipment needed for our pie and casserole baking to bring to our gathering in Sylva. Great location and we were grateful for the fenced yard for our small dog.
