Charming Oceanfront Beachhouse On Amelia Island

This charming 5 bedroom beachhouse welcomes you to its oceanfront location with 2 bedrooms on the main floor, including a seaside master bedroom with a king bed en suite master bath and a large second bedroom with two queen beds. The main floor has a full bathroom, large 'cooks' kitchen with eat in banquette and breakfast bar, the comfortable living room opens out into an expansive deck overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. The lower floor has three bedrooms, and two additional bathrooms, full laundry room and a second living room area for the kids to enjoy. These three bedrooms are tastefully decorated with a queen bed, bunk bedroom (full down / twin up) and a trundle bed. The living area has additional sleeping capacity with a queen size sofa. The seaside decking with it's shaded trellis invites you to the ocean to enjoy hours of beach time relaxation. We provide our beach chairs and umbrella, boogie boards and beach toys so the kids are just as happy as you!

Absolutely Awesome Amelia!

The house was beautifully decorated! Accommodated all ten of us from ages 3 to 63! Beach sand was like sugar & sunrises & sunsets were extraordinary!

Great Beach House

We loved our stay at this amazing house. The perfect location. We have stayed in several VRBO properties on Amelia Island and all have been great but this home was by far the best equipped and most comfortable. The owner Claudia was so helpful and friendly and made us feel right at home. Her go-to girl Barb was also great and quickly responded to any questions. The huge deck is the perfect spot to sit with a cocktail or a cup of coffee and watch the ocean. So relaxing. We look forward to coming back.

A home that you will fall in love with!

The kitty is pure luxury. It is a home you will fall in love with. The outdoor areas are fantastic. We would sit on the huge deck in the evenings and watch the sun set over the ocean. We surfed, paddle boarded, and even had Dolphins swimming with us. The home has two living areas. One upstairs and one downstairs. There is so much room in this home. You can all be together or have plenty of areas for alone time. We have been renting a home every year for 10 years. This home is the most amazing. Rent this home. You will fall in love with it, the people and the island. I can't wait to return. Claudia is a dream. She makes you feel like you are a friend visiting her home. Thank you Claudia and the Kitty for an amazing week of incredible memories with my daughter and my grandchildren.

Spectacular!!

My family and I stayed at the "Kitty" for my 50th birthday party. This place was spectacular- great views from the kitchen and living room area, wonderful, huge patio and it really is steps away from the beach. Magical!!! It's also in a great, central location- walking distance to restaurants and a short drive/bike ride to downtown. It's the best place I have ever stayed in- and I have traveled all over the world. This was the 1st time I ever used VBRO and the owner, Claudia was wonderful to deal with- made it so easy. I would highly recommend!!!! Please note- I am a real person and volunteered to write this:)

JUST AWESOME!!

My family and I have had the pleasure of spending many vacations on Amelia Island. We have stayed in several beach front houses, Amelia Island Plantation and Elizabeth Pointe Lodge. This home is by far the best accommodations we have had the pleasure to enjoy! The house itself is 5 Star with a great kitchen, a large open floor plan, 4 great bathrooms (especially the master suite pebble floor shower) with great linens throughout. But with the deck, I need a sixth star to properly rate this home! The deck is huge (think boardwalk) and so close to the ocean you feel like you are already on the beach. We spent many an hour sitting on the comfortable sectional sofa listing to the surf and star gazing from the four comfy chaise lounges at night, just magical! The location on the island couldn't be better, right in the middle of everything. Only minutes from the great downtown restaurants and shops and even a short walk to a couple of really good restaurants and bike rentals and a few shops and less than 45 minutes to JAX airport. The owners are super easy to deal with and very responsive as well as Barb the Realtor who checked us in and gave us several dining recommendations (Be sure to eat at Cucina South at least once!). I could go on and on about this spectacular beach front home, from the fantastic views from the living room, master suite and deck to the tasteful decorations, well stocked kitchen, great board games, it just has everything you could want. Truly one of our best vacations EVER.

WOW this house is special

The ultimate beach house with million dollar views of the ocean, a premier location! This expansive and comfortable home is sure to knock your socks off. You’ll feel right at home in the first floor everything is in your reach with a wet bar, refrigerator, TV, DVD player, kitchen table. 5 bathrooms and 4 bedrooms can comfortably accommodate up to 12 guests. Great basketball court for the kids. The owners have furnished this beauty with all the modern touches. The cooks kitchen has recently been renovated and is fully stocked. It’s like your own private resort here! Great for groups of friends or couples traveling together. Downstairs is an additional large open family room, dining room with seats for 8 and a breakfast area wet bar. The deck is well equipped with furnishings for sunbathing, viewing a breakfast sunrise, or just lounging. You’ll love this beach home’s combination of indoor and outdoor space. The location of this home could not be better – you’re right on the beach! Frolick in the surf and enjoy the warm temperatures. Explore the picturesque coastal town of Fernandina Beach . The streets are lined with unique shops, art galleries and restaurants featuring fresh local seafood fare. You’ll feel like a local instantly when you step onto the property of your new home away from home! Your family may find it hard to leave paradise after a week here!

A perfect and relaxing retreat!

LOVED this immaculate beach-home! We got in after dark and woke up to such a spectacular view of the ocean from our master suite! We lacked for nothing in this beautiful rental, and it has such an airy, clean, homey feel, we didn't want to leave! Loved cooking in the kitchen, because we could all be together with the family room right there and even the cook could enjoy the incredible view through the expansive windows. We used the deck a lot (loved the covered area & comfy furniture out there), and loved taking walks on the pristine beach, which was just steps away. The little town is so quaint, AND FRIENDLY! Can't wait to return someday!

Wonderful stay in May!

My husband and I spent a wonderful time at this gorgeous house in May. The backyard is the beach and sitting on the deck with that wonderful view you do not need to go anywhere else!! All the ammenities and so well stocked with everything you might need for a great vacation. I cannot wait to go back!

Slice of Heaven!

I met friends and family for a reunion at this home on the beach and had the best vacation ever! The location is perfect...the house on the beach with a path out the back door leading to the beach and it is gorgeous...soft sand and welcoming ocean. Took many walks along the beach and also played tennis and rode bikes. The house itself is in excellent condition! Being cooks, we were happy that the kitchen is fully equipped and has views of the ocean while preparing dinner! BBQ too! All beds comfortable and appreciated 3 clean, modern bathrooms and more towels than you will be able to use for both indoors and the beach. Well-decorated unlike many rentals I have stayed in. Living room spacious and has amenities for those that want to tune in to the TV and Internet. The house has a second living area on the lower level that we never even used but would be great for younger children (second TV). We went to town several times to peruse shops and I especially liked those with antiques. Ate dinner out twice and though meals were good, preferred being back at the house eating on the deck and enjoying what we came for—the beach!!! We are already planning our reunion for next year at this very home and I would highly recommend to anyone who appreciates the beauty and tranquility of the ocean with the amenities to make it a paradise.

One word describes this property, HEAVEN!

I joined friends for a girl's weekend at the beach. Flying in to Jacksonville was easy and the house was a quick 30 minute drive from the airport. We arrived at night so the next morning, I was greeted by the most spectacular unobstructed view of the private beachfront and Atlantic ocean - just footsteps away! The house is beautifully and comfortably furnished (think Pottery Barn beach chic) with many special and personal touches to make it feel like home. Each bedroom is spacious with ample closet space, linens and fresh towels. The kitchen is well equipped for simple meals or a gourmet feast with plenty of seating at the counter or banquette. As a special treat, we enjoyed a catered, candlelit dinner on the deck under clear starry skies (owner can recommend the fantastic caterer). The cozy deck seating areas are also perfect for curling up with a good book, group cocktails/conversation or a nap! Perfectly situated within walking distance to beach bars/restaurants with live music, the house is only a short drive to the town of Fernandina Beach with first class shopping, entertainment and gourmet restaurants. Our group played tennis at the Omni Hotel complex on beautifully maintained clay courts and given how much there is to do in this charming part of Florida - biking, fishing, golf, boating - a month's stay is not long enough! This home is ideal for a family reunion, couples' getaway, family vacation or anyone looking for a quiet, peaceful place to relax and feel rejuvenated. Heaven!
