This beautiful top floor condo is located in the 80 unit complex of Kanai A Nalu (Unit #419) and features all the comforts of home overlooking Maalaea Bay, Haleakala, Kihei, and all of the South Shore with Maalaea Beach just steps away! Miles of unbuilt sandy beaches are perfect for walking, running, swimming, snorkeling, or searching for seashells.

We also own unit 402 (VRBO#428018) should you need additional accommodations or 419 is not available for your dates.

Inside, the condo comforts include: a full kitchen with quartz countertops, refrigerator with ice-maker, washer/dryer, toaster, coffeemaker, microwave, stove/oven, dual-temp wine cooler, all kitchen accessories, split system air-conditioning with dedicated units in master bedroom and living room, wireless internet, dining room with seating for 4, two bedrooms each with their own bathroom, Smart TV. Another wonderful Maui trip in the books! This unit was great. Clean, well maintained with everything you could possibly need. Maalaea has became our go to area to stay for each trip due to its central, quiet location. Watching sea turtles from the balcony daily was the best part! We will check availability of this unit upon returning! Thank you for a great time!

A wonderful vacation for the two of us

This was a great place to stay. The property is thoughtfully appointed, centrally located, and clean. It is on the water near the beach and offers great views. We saw beautiful sunrises, wales, and a turtle.

Absolutely pristine condo with amazing views. Beds were very comfortable. Location is great for going to different parts of the island. Beach is a quick walk. Highly recommend.

Great fun

The condo was great, just as the pictures show. The view is awesome and it was clean and updated. The owners were easy to work with and my questions to them were answered in a very timely manner. Our family rented a total of 3 condos in this building for a family vacation and the location was perfect. Many memories were made during our stay. Thank you so much for allowing us the use of your beautiful home.

Fantastic unit and owner

This unit was very comfortable and wonderful for our family and I’m sure we would have greatly enjoyed our stay. Unfortunately we had to evacuate due to the Maui fires but the owner was fantastic in communication and worked with VRBO to refund our money which was not expected but VERY appreciated. We are praying for all those affected by the wildfires and hopefully if we make it back we’ll be able to stay here again. Thank you so much.

First visit to Maui

We were so thrilled with our stay at this condo! We could not get enough of the view from the balcony and the sound of the waves. The condo had plenty of space for the 4 of us and had everything we could possibly need. It was decorated nicely and was very clean when we arrived. The beds were very comfortable and the air conditioning helped at times when we wanted to cool down. The location was centrally located: 20-25 minutes to Lahaina, the airport and Kihei. We especially enjoyed the fact that it was quiet at night and we could sit on the balcony and really relax! We would use this condo again!

Everything you hope for and more!

This is a lovely property! Oceanfront, very comfortable beds, updated bathrooms, kitchen. Very nice living area funiture - even a desk and great internet. Every time we needed something in the kitchen we found it. Clearly a lot of thought was put into what guests might need while there. Towels were plentiful. And views of the beautiful West Maui hills from the entrance side of the condo. An island-central location meant it was close to the airport, and not far from many of the locations we wanted to visit. Miles of beach to walk just two buildings away. The owner was very resonsive to questions pre-visit, and things were so great that there was no need to contact the owner during the visit. I'd highly recommend this condo.

Absolutely phenomenal

This property is the definition of perfection. Clean, comfortable, safe, and well-stocked. The view from the lanai is spectacular and the location is exactly where you’d want to be to explore many parts of Maui. The owners have everything you need to maximize your vacation experience. From beach chairs to binoculars, you’ll find it all here! And the air conditioning works wonderfully! The ONLY possible negative thing that I could say is the demographics of this condo complex are mainly older folks. This is great because it’s quiet, but when there are several kids playing in the community pool, they get visibly annoyed. BUT, we didn’t experience any issues other than a few eye rolls. 5+ stars! We will definitely be back!

Best views and condo!

My husband and I stayed at this wonderful condo with our adult kids (18, 21 and our 24 joined us for part of the trip). Not only was the condo spotless and updated but the view was spectacular! The beds were so comfortable and we all slept so well. Even the sheets were nice and soft. The kitchen is updated and has everything you could need to prepare some meals. I especially appreciated that it wasn’t just cheap IKEA cookware that we have encountered. We stayed for 10 days over Christmas. We were able to spend time as a family watching movies and most importantly the beach. We have been to all the islands and travel all over the world as well as having been to Maui previously. We all agreed that Ma’alaea is the best location for navigating the whole island and the weather. We ventured to other beaches and it would start raining so we would head back to “our” beach and it seemed to always be sunny. The reef in front of the condo was great snorkeling. We saw turtles daily and on Christmas Day a pod of whales entertained the whole beach with breaching, etc. We felt comfortable leaving our items on the beach and all going in the water together. Having recently visited Thailand, you aren’t able to do that on the beaches. We enjoyed the aquarium and the pizza place (Point Break) that you can walk to from the condo. Kihei is 15 mins away so we headed to the food trucks and restaurants there often. We will definitely return to this gem of a condo.

Perfect! 10/10!

My family and I enjoyed our stay thoroughly! Check-in was a breeze with the keypad and to be quite honest, we never even used the actual physical key for the top lock at all during our stay...it was that convenient and not necessary. Slight delay on check-in as the housekeeper wasn't expecting us a few hours before standard check-in, 45 minute delay but no biggie as Lindi and Jim were wonderful enough to allow us to check in early in the first place. We couldn't have asked for a better location for our stay. Everything was a short drive away, from the airport (about 15 minutes away) to other bordering counties, and we found the central location to be very convenient. The dock for our Molokini snorkeling boat was less than a mile away. My daughter and I were the ones to go out on that excursion and upon our return I told my wife to look outside the balcony only to find my daughter and I waving as we passed by. So much fun! Other pluses...the kitchen was well stocked, even had some essentials like cooking oil, salt, pepper, coffee filters, etc. Ceiling fan in every room including the bathrooms. Air conditioning a huge plus if you arent used to the humidity. There isn' direct beach access from the back but during the morning and early afternoon low tieds, there is a pathway from the left side of the property that leads directly to the neighboring beach. We never braved the pathway, but did see others using it during our stay. Do note, however, the keep out signs.

Great place to stay in Maui

This condo is in a very quiet location, away from the crowds. It is situated in a convenient part of Maui. No long drives to get to anywhere on the island. The view from the lanai is a stone’s throw away from the ocean and it is spectacular! I would stay here again just for the view.

Fabulous Condo in a great location!

We absolutely loved this condo! It was in a very central location so that driving anywhere (Kihei, Lahaina, upcountry) was never painfully far. We wanted to explore all of Maui, so this was perfect for us. We also walked to the nearby marina one night for a sunset dinner sail with Trilogy! It was clean, spacious and well equipped (we had two adults, a teenager and a 10 year old). The lanai has an absolutely stunning view and we enjoyed sipping coffee or a cocktail while watching surfers and turtles. :) We would definitely book again!

Home Away From Home

We highly recommend staying here for anyone visiting Maui. The condo is in a convenient location and the space and amenities within the condo are perfect. There is a beautiful view of the beach right from the balcony and the when you’re ready to enjoy the warm Maui water you’re just steps away. The beach was never crowded and there was a point where we walked just a bit further down and had the whole place to ourselves. Aside from being a great space in a great location, Jim and Lindi were awesome and answered any questions we had and were very easy to work with. We will absolutely be back the next time we come to Maui.

Great condo and property location is awesome.

The condo was very clean, updated and well stocked. We loved the location to see all the different places in Maui. We watched the sea turtles everyday from the lanai. The grill area was set up very nice and met a lot of other great people while using the grill. We would absolutely stay here again. The communication with the owners was great as well.

Beautiful ocean and mountain views

You can’t get any closer to the ocean than this condo. Sound of the waves crashing all night was amazing. Beautiful sunrises and great views of the ocean and Mt Haleakala. The condo was clean and is very nicely upgraded. Would highly recommend.

Excellent Maui Stay

The place is very comfortable, well-stocked and centrally located on the island. We ended up spending a lot more time hanging out at the condo than we planned. It was honestly hard to leave. Cocktails and turtle watching from the chairs on the lanai was outstanding. The setup for swimming, snorkeling, and boogie boarding on site is great. Grilling and then eating at the water's edge beats most any restaurant you can go to (in our opinion). Great communication and support from the owners.

Wonderful Vacation

The condo was great - top floor right on the water. It was well stocked with everything we needed and more. Close proximity to main roads. Found it very easy to navigate around the island. Great views. We really enjoyed our stay.

Paradise on Maui

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Kana'i A Nalu at Maalaea Bay and can't imagine that it could have been any better. The view from our lanai, the relaxing sound of the surf, and the frequent viewing of whales and turtles while we enjoyed our breakfast was postcard perfect. Our unit was very comfortable, beautifully appointed, and furnished with everything we needed and then some. We especially enjoyed days spent lounging in the sun and the occasional dip in the ocean and pool. Easy access to long, beautiful, and uncrowded stretches of sandy beach was the best we have experienced during any of our previous Hawaiian vacations. We were also very pleased with the dining and shopping options available after just a short walk into the Maalaea Bay marketplace. Thank you for providing such a wonderful experience!!!! The condo was perfect for the two of us. Could not be any closer to the sea without a boat. Sleep and awoke to the sound of the waves. Unit was clean and well stocked, no complaints from us. Pool area was great with a nice size pool and lots of chairs. Highly recommend. PK

Perfect!

We stayed in this unit for 5 nights and absolutely loved everything about it. This unit is located in a quiet stretch of condos near the Maui Aquatic Center, and very central to the entire island. Very quiet, and we could not hear neighbors from inside the unit. Only downside to this location is that there are not many nearby places to eat. Loved the pool - it is bigger than it appears in the pictures. We could not have been more oceanfront with a nice quiet beach area next to the unit. This area was also great because it is relatively shallow for quite some distance and the bigger waves separate, leaving one section of water very calm. The unit is very well stocked - beach towels, beach chairs, boogie boards, etc. Plus, the kitchen has everything you will need. We didn't cook anything ourselves, but it had everything anyone would need. This is a great unit for a few night stay or for a few week stay and is spacious enough for two adults and two kids. The owner is easy to contact and the rental agency is also very responsive (we did not need to contact either while we were there - this is just based on our booking experience). Overall, I will definitely stay here again whenever I return to Maui.
