The beach is one of the most beautiful in the Virgin Islands!

Our condo has just gone through a complete renovation since Hurricane Irma and Maria. Sapphire Beach Resort and Marina is one of Saint Thomas's premier resorts with complete amenities. The resort's beach is over a half-mile long, with clear, turquoise water at the shore becoming a rich, deep blue in the distance.

There is nightly entertainment. Amenities include free beach chairs and snorkeling rentals, freshwater pool overlooking the sea along with two tennis courts lit for night play. Volleyball, snorkeling, swimming, wind surfing, sailing: you have it all.

Our unit at Sapphire Beach is luxurious and spacious with spectacular views of Saint John and the British Virgin Islands. Enjoy private balcony, and full kitchen with large living area. The unit has air conditioning, cable TV, ceiling fan, and phones.

Sapphire Beach Resort and Marina is located one mile from the town of Red Hook on the eastern end of the island. Red Hook provides all conveniences and grocery shopping, along with many additional dining options. Ferry service to Saint John and the British Virgin Islands is also available from Red Hook.

The condo was perfect for a Christmas vacation! We had a great view, and the unit was newly remodeled. We enjoyed the pool views and took the ferry to St. John and did a BVI charter (highlight of the trip). Hong had great communication, and we would definitely rent this condo again. Happy New Year!!

I am not one that typically leaves reviews but this beauty is worth a 5 star review! We just returned from a 7 day stay (1st time on St Thomas) in this ocean front condo and we are already looking forward to returning again next year. Best area overall on the entire island with great beach, pretty waters for good snorkeling, restaurant/bar and beautiful pool. Great owner/host with quick response time too!

Check in and out was easy. I wouldve like an extra set of sheets. Only 2 wash clothes. The floor needed to be cleaned better. I would stay again.

This was our 2nd trip back to Sapphire Beach Resort but first time staying in this B building condo. Great updated condo, clean, & comfortable. Hong was great at communicating & everything went smoothly. The only suggestion I would make is to have an extra bag of bathroom towels, wash clothes, & sheets available for those staying longer than 5 days,we had a 10 night stay. No one wants to do laundry on vacation. Great condo & would stay again! Thank you for having us!

Property was just like the pictures on the VRBO App. We absolutely loved our stay. Very Clean. Owner was awesome to communicate with before we arrived amd answered amy qiestions we had. I highly recommend a stay at Hongs place in Sapphire Beach Resort and Marina. Beach is the best on the island.

Disappointment! First off, I was threatened there would be a cancelation of my stay because of an error in sending an expired USVI license. That set off the vacation in a dark direction. Next, the coffee machine we bought coffe for was defective and not working properly. We shared this with the owner. We sensed it was our fault with the response received, "so, this is the first time I"ve heard..." The coffe machine was replaced but was kept packaged and the broken one not taken, with expectation of us unpackaging and setting out. Then we were told toiletires like kleenex and toilet paper is not provided, "this isn't a hotel..." which left a bad taste of choice of words. It's never been mentioned in the vrbo don't forget your toilet paper. The sleeping accommodations for the olus one frien was on a dold out couch that flopped around when pulling out not to mention the paper thin mattress. The bedding on the bed was worn, with sand in the sheets with hokes in the comforter. The pillows smelled of dead head with a mixof men's cologne. I slep on one side of the bed for rhe first week, second week i had to transfer to the otherside due to s worn sunken mattress. I believe its time to take pride in a space one should be proud to share with others. The sheer curtains were dingy tacky to touch...grimie, if you will. The door lock falls off, yet does lock with some finaggling. A photo of children in the bathroom is in my opinion of poor taste,not to mention the etietiq

This was the perfect location with beach access and multiple restaurants right on the property. Clean and updated amenities. Communication with the property owner was excellent - very timely responses when needed. Would love to stay here again and highly recommend this owner and property to others!

The condo is beautiful. One concern was the pool was under repair. I was really looking forward to going for a swim in the pool. Other than that, i enjoy my stay.

Great location

The room had a great view and very good snorkeling. The appliances were decent except for the TVs that didn't have HDMI cables or the ability to cast which would have been convenient on a rainy day. Communication and check in were very good.

Sapphire Paradise

This unit is well equipped for a beautiful week at Sapphire Beach Resort. The loungers on the deck are a nice addition. There is a cooler, beach towels and even an air fryer! We were a bit disappointed as there were no paper towels or tissues and only one roll of toilet paper provided. Hong responded very quickly when we had an issue with a mistakenly locked door when we first arrived.

Excellent location!!

Sapphire Beach Resort is top notch! This unit has an excellent view of the Ocean on the beach. It is the second floor, but even the bottom floor is a small flight of stairs, few steps to the beach. The views are breathtaking on the second floor allowing us to see over the beautiful trees and bushes from the unit. Plenty of towels were provided and there was a Keurig and reg. coffee pot. Bring your own shower amenities, and do a small shop for basic needs like bottled water and TP, only 1 Roll 1 ply for a 5 night stay. We planned without room service. Coin laundry close by at Marina. We highly rate this unit! The bed was super comfortable with plenty of pillows and nicely decorated. I couldnā€™t figure out how to turn on the fan above the bed, but didnā€™t need it with the cool air from the AC fan blowing nicely toward the footbed high on the wall. The security is friendly and makes your stay feel safe and drama free. We accidentally locked the keys in the room having only 1 set, oops. Hong took care of us immediately. The TV needed repair before we arrived and it was fixed in just a few minutes allowing us to watch the Super Bowl! The food was great, drinks convenient, and itā€™s all right on the beach! We went Parasailing from the Marina a very short walk away. We would absolutely love to come back and stay again, it goes by so fast! Thank you Hong for taking such great care of us and giving us such a wonderful stay!!

A Wonderful Stay at Sapphire Beach Resort with Room for Improvement

Our stay at Sapphire Beach Resort in the Virgin Islands was truly unforgettable! The crystal-clear waters of Sapphire Beach were breathtaking, and having direct access to such a pristine beach was a dream. Snorkeling right off the shore allowed us to explore vibrant marine life daily, making it a highlight of our trip. The resortā€™s location was ideal ā€“ just a 5-minute drive to town, where we enjoyed a variety of fantastic restaurants and a well-stocked supermarket. It made dining and preparing for outings incredibly convenient. We also loved the easy access to thrilling ocean adventures like parasailing, jet skiing, and more, which kept the whole family entertained. The room itself was spacious and comfortable, but there were a few minor issues. A few additional toiletries would have been appreciated, and we were surprised to find no paper towel rolls provided, which would have been helpful during our stay. Some of the lights in the room were not functioning, which was a small inconvenience but worth mentioning for future improvements. That said, the resort was extremely family-friendly, with a safe and welcoming environment for kids. The staff were outstanding ā€“ always friendly, accommodating, and eager to ensure we had the best experience.
