RENDEZVOUS is a private property conveniently located on the South Shore of St. John 5 minutes from Cruz Bay.

The lushly landscaped property consists of three separate units which may be rented individually or in combination for larger groups, depending on your specific needs, 2-6 persons.

Each apartment has its own entrance, parking and outdoor covered dining area. Each is completely private from the other two units. Rendezvous has a community pool with plenty of lounge furniture, shade sails and incredible view for the enjoyment of all guests.

RENDEZVOUS VILLA(2BR 2Bath) The entrance of the top-floor Villa is on prestigious Boatman Road atop the hill between Rendezvous Bay and Chocolate Hole. Newly remodeled and decorated with origional artwork by island artists, the Villa boasts a modern open kitchen and huge outdoor covered porch for grilling, dining and lounging among the palm trees and outstanding sunset view of St. Thomas. Fully A/Cd.

RENDEZVOUS TERRACE(2BR 2Bath) is currently occupied by Owner/Manager and not available for rent. Should you need anything during your stay or have questions or concerns, the manager is on-site to take care of you.

RENDEZVOUS COTTAGE(1BR 1Bath) a romantic escape for two awaits you in this Mediterranean-style Cottage. The main living/dining area is an outdoor, enclosed, screened porch tucked into lush landscape of mature palms, bananas, and frangipani with a commanding sunset view of Pillsbury Sound and Saint Thomas. The arched windows and doors, high ceilings, and outdoor environment will put you at one with nature. The well-appointed kitchen, barbecue, king-size bedroom with air conditioning, walk-in closet with washer/dryer, and comfortable furnishings will provide you with all the comforts of home.

Hike to nearby uncrowded beaches in Chocolate Hole and Rendezvous Bay, or take the beach chairs and cooler and explore National Park beaches. Or just lounge by the pool.

Outdoor covered living/dining areas, high ceilings, arched windows and doors, ceiling fans, sattelite TV, books, phone and answering machine, comfortable new furnishings, king-size bed, air conditioning, well-appointed kitchen, barbecue, linens, beach towels and chairs, cooler, walk-in closet with washer/dryer, pool, sunset view, alarm clock, iron and ironing board.

Excellent communication and service from the host Scott. Villa was cleaned at a high level by the housekeeper which is not always the case at other villas. View, pool and other amenities were also excellent. Overall, they know what they are doing and I would rent there again.

This will be our St John go to. We loved the screened in living area for hanging out and the air conditioned bed room at night. Five minutes from Cruz Bay dining options but also several quieter very good dining options also about five minutes away the other direction.

Lovely vacation

This property is located about 7 minutes from town close to the top of a hill that overlooks Rendezvous bay. The views from the pool are gorgeous. The little cottage that my husband and I stayed in was perfect for us. It was quiet, had a stove and a grill to prepare meals, a beautiful screened in patio, a washer and dryer and access to the pool. The check in process was easy and quick. James' son met us at the car ferry and showed us the way so that was very nice. Communication with the owner was quick and responsive. We appreciated the beach chairs, umbrella and cooler for our day trips. Would definitely stay here again!

Cozy cottage

We stayed in the 1 bedroom cottage on the property which was below the main house with steps going up to the pool area.If it wasn’t for the roosters crowing at 4am I probably would have slept in more.I would definitely schedule another stay. Great private cottage with all the amenities.

Excellent location

Property is very private while being just minutes from Cruz Bay. Home has everything you need for a great vacation. It feels like a tree house in the jungle. James met us at the ferry dock and showed us the way and made sure that we had everything we needed.

Great getaway

Wonderful affordable villa to get you relaxing on island time. Access to a beautiful pool and sun deck, great views of sunset and distant St Thomas lights at night. Easy drive to Cruz Bay or the NP beaches. The host is the best; friendly and welcoming!

10 minutes from Cruz Bay where there are lots of shopping and food options. Easy enough to get to the north shore beaches. James is terrific. Very accommodating. Wonderful view of St. Thomas.

The perfect retreat

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The location of the home is perfect, we were able to easily commute to some of the best restaurants nearby and be back in no time. The 1BR/1BA cottage had everything we needed upon arrival.. it was very well kept. It really helped us out that beach chairs, snorkel gear, etc was right there waiting for us to use daily. The view from the pool is breath taking.. photos don’t do it justice. The owner was extremely nice and accommodating. We wouldn’t hesitate to book here again.. this place is truly such a gem. Thank you James family!

The location is good- just out of town and easy to get to . Beautiful view from the roof !

It’s a great building - just needs some TLC! The shower curtain definitely needs to go and some new sheets would be nice . There are some ancient fans that are rusted and could be replaced . Lovely screened porch with comfy furniture . The kitchen had all we needed .

Great Stay with Thoughtful Amenities

We had a wonderful stay! The check-in process was seamless, and the owner was incredibly responsive and helpful. He even met us at the Jeep rental and personally guided us to the property, which was a nice touch. We really appreciated the beach chairs, cooler, and towels that were provided—they made our beach days so much easier.To be honest, we spent most of our time either at the beach or in town, so we were really only at the property to sleep. The first night, we noticed some mosquitos, but that’s to be expected in the tropics. Overall, a great experience, and we’d stay here again!

Spectacular views

James' cottage was the perfect way to experience the natural beauty of St John for the first time. The views were amazing and the indoor/outdoor feeling of the living area made it even more special. It was close enough to town to make it convenient, but far enough to be quiet and peaceful. James made check in a breeze. We would definitely stay there again!

Wonderful stay

Jim went above and beyond, picking us up at the ferry dock late at night when our flight was delayed. Our unit was well equipped, clean and comfortable. We had a lovely view of Cruz Bay and St. Thomas. King sized bed was very comfortable. Very nice shaded pool area. Cruz Bay was a convenient ten minute drive.

Really nice low key rental in neighborhood

This is a very nice apartment (1 of 3) in a big house. Great view off of screen porch! Pool upstairs (!) Easy to get to Cruz Bay and anywhere else, but be prepared to rent a car. Well kept up and super friendly landlord!

Wonderful Host

After several mishaps due to our airline we arrived a day late and James was so awesome and kept in contact with us the entire time. Beautiful views from the villa and perfect for a couples vacation. Thanks again James for everything! We will be back!

Fantastic view, great location

The view from our place was amazing. We could look out on the bay from our living room as well as the pool area upstairs. It was a great place to have coffee in the morning or a glass of wine in the evening. The location was also optimal. It was just a few minutes from Cruz Bay with its restaurants and shops, but away from the noise and congestion. The host is very responsive and answered the couple of questions we had within minutes. This is our second time staying here and we would stay again.

I'm from New York City, have lived in St. John since 1997 working for Westin, Ritz-Carlton and Marriott. I love the laid back lifestyle so decided I would go into the hospitality business for myself. This is the only property I own (or have ever owned) and have been renovating it since the day I bought it (the renovations never stop, always more to do!)

After life in the Big City and the suburbs of New York, life in my neighborhood could not be any easier. For a while I rented a home closer to Cruz Bay (too close) and for a year rented a place in Fish Bay (too remote). Rendezvous is perfect: 5 minutes to Cruz Bay bars, restaurants, groceries, shopping, ferries to St. Thomas. 15 minute drive to all of my favorite beaches on the North Shore, National Park and hiking trails. Easy to catch a boat to British Virgin Islands from Cruz Bay. Quiet, safe neighborhood where I know most of my neighbors and rarely bother to lock my door or take the keys out of my car. I have a big yard I'm always gardening with lots of sun and awesome sunsets, accross the street down Boatman road are awesome views east of Rendezvous Bay and the entire South Shore of St. John, with great sun and moonrises.
