Two bedroom two bath upstairs in duplex on beautifully landscaped large lot.
Quiet and peaceful.
Beautiful chefs kitchen looks out on ocean vista, foliage,
and opens onto large deck (45' x 13').
Walk or bike to several great dining spots (Sam's Chowder House, Miramar Inn, Via Una. Short drive or bike to restaurants at Pillar Point (2 miles north) or Main Street in Half Moon Bay (3 miles south).
Wonderful yet uncrowded sandy beach is short walk away, with miles of space to walk or jog. Sorry, no parties, weddings, or events here; maximum of 2 people unless owner makes exception.

A great stay, great location

I saw other 5 star reviews and can see why! The property was great. The location was ideal. Darren and Lisa were very helpful in recommending restaurants and grocery stores. Just the right size. Super clean. I couldn't have asked for a better stay!

Perfect location

Expensive, and worth every cent. Gorgeous view from the balcony, good location close to San Francisco, yet sufficiently far from the crowd and noise. Never saw the owner, never needed to see the owner. Perfect.

Very welcoming and helpful hosts! I stayed with my two sons and it was cozy yet spacious! Lovely and beautifully cared for home. I loved the art work and decorating! Thank you!

Beautiful home. Fantastic owners

This is our third time here and it gets better each time. Definitely a quiet, relaxing and beautiful place to be. Outstanding views of the ocean. Often see whales as they go by. Exceptionally clean home with modern living. The owners are very kind, nice and easy to work with. We hope to continue to make family memories at the vacation oasis. Thank you for opening up your home to us.

What a great and memorable place to spend our 30th anniversary! The ocean view was spectacular. Whale watching every day. The kitchen had everything we needed. The bed was super comfy! Great showers! A true beach house! We loved the deck and relaxing on the furniture with a nice glass of wine. Great restaurants nearby! Half Moon Bay is such a sweet spot. The pictures are good but it's even better when you get there. Lots to explore. We'd love to return sooner than later. We wished we could have stayed another week.

we have been home one day and we already miss the sound of the waves crashing against the shore. It was a beautiful property with everything you needed close by. By far the best part of the trip was looking out of window or sitting on deck and watching the wind surfers and whales. We are definitely looking forward to return visits!!!!! Thanks!!!!

wonderful place

Me and my family spent 8 days in this wonderful holiday home. Everything was just perfect: the house is wonderfully equipped, clean, quiet and the view from the terrace is just awesome! While having breakfast we saw whales and dolphins from the terrace. The owner is very friendly and helpful. We would definitly recommend that place to our friends

great vacations

We were so lucky that we found that wonderful holiday home for our summer vacation. Everything was just perfect for our family of three (parents and one teenager)! The house is wonderfully equipped and the view from the terrace is just awesome! We saw whales and dolphins every day. The owner was very friendly and helpful. Perfectly located

As previous reviewers have mentioned, this property is super clean, well equipped and located perfectly for access to the coast. Being able to watch dolphins playing in the ocean right from the deck was great! So much activity with walkers and cyclists in the area. Loved every aspect of this rental and would love to return if in the area.

Beautiful way to spend a vacation!

This property is really the perfect combination of location and comfortable living. The large deck overlooking the Pacific, the bike path, birds, and lots of flowers, was well-furnished and a favorite spot for this ocean lover. The home was well equipped, had beautiful linens and comfortable beds, and was clean. It was lovely to go for an early morning bike ride, a walk on the beach, or a late morning brunch - all within walking distance. The owner, Darren, was extremely responsive (even supplying us with bikes and helmets) and a pleasure to work with. This was my favorite spot in our four trips to California and I would love to return someday!

Perfect Beach Get Away for a couple or small family

This ocean front property is everything we hoped for an anniversary get away. It is clean, comfortable, and quiet. We enjoyed the ocean views and being steps away from the trails and beach. The owners were very responsive and easy to work with. I highly recommend this home.

We moved here to be closer to the hub of technological development, and fell in love with the unique beauty of Northern California and the wonderful people we have come to know. Our family of five loves hiking, playing volleyball, going to baseball games, golfing, making artwork, and especially eating out.

Probably the best beach in the Bay Area for walking and running - you can run or hike on the sand over 8 miles in each direction from surfers beach one mile north, to the cliffs south of the Ritz Carlton. There is also a bike path above on the bluffs that covers the same route. Our house sits on a large lot adjacent to open space, yet within a friendly neighborhood, and walking distance to great restaurants.
