Modern secluded home in wooded Setting

This 2500 square foot home has an open floor plan downstairs with living-room kitchen and screen in porch at the back of the home. A separate sitting room and dining room in the front of the house. The downstairs also has a 1/2 bathroom with laundry. There are two entrances...One the front door or a separate entrance into a mudroom. The front porch is massive with areas to relax. The upstairs has 3 bedrooms ....The master bedroom is quite large with a separate sitting area furnished with loveseat, futon and TV. The master bedroom bathroom is furnished with a deep relaxing tub and separate shower. The 2 additional bedrooms have a great sunny feel with queen beds. The second bathroom has a shower tub combo and would be used by the two additional bedrooms...The kitchen is totally modern with granite counter tops, stainless steel appliances and center island with 3 bar stools to enjoy socializing ...The dining room is furnished with table and 6 chairs for a more intimate dining experience....The best feature of this home is the outdoor screened in room surround by woods and fully furnished with wicker furniture for relaxation in a bug free environment. Downstairs in the basement is a great spot that has ping pong table, air hockey and weight machine to entertain guest. This house is such a wonderful home for couples or families to have quality time together

Lovely clean home in a nice isolated location. Close to Big Pond, which has a nice quiet beach and a nice playground too. Loved the front deck and back screened porch—there were no mosquitos during the days, so we were able to enjoy both. Owner was very helpful/great communication. Owner does not provide “personal items”, so remember to bring your own soap/body wash and shampoo.

What a great house! Peaceful location, large and beautiful house. Exactly true to pictures. We slept well and enjoyed a relaxed stay visiting nearby family. Would absolutely come back—hearing the birds in the morning from the screen porch was such a cheerful bonus. And a/c worked great on a hot New England weekend!!

Relaxing property

A wonderful house, very comfortable, clean, private, chill. Property owner Vicki was a pleasure to work with. Due to the actual location, we may or may not be that way again, but if we do end up in that area, we would DEFINITELY stay here again. A great stay at a very decent price.

Yearly Family Retreat

Vicki is a fantastic host she is attentive and checked in to make sure we had everything we needed. The home was well appointed and fit our needs perfectly. The street does not match the home it is the prettiest house on the street.

Third time staying @ this lovely home

We ( my sister, son & wife ) stayed August 5 - 8, and my other son, wife & two grandsons came over for dinner one evening. They live nearby in Becket, and it was great to have the whole family together. The new dining table & chairs were perfect & the screened porch gets great cross breezes. This might be our last visit though as we get older we require safety bars in the shower & higher toilets

Extremely Secluded -- In a Good Way

Sometimes a listing for "secluded" isn't really so. But here it was wonderfully true. When turning off Rte 23 to High Rise Rd, it looks like a single-lane gravel driveway. Then you continue and continue over the rough road until this amazing house appears in a clearing. It's a hidden gem in the woods. Despite difficulty with the lockbox (you need extraordinary strength) and one car getting a flat tire after driving over High Rise Rd., we had a great time in the house. The master suite can easily sleep at least 5-6 people between the bed, couch, futon, and rollaway found in a closet, and they would share a full bathroom. Plus there are 2 more bedrooms, and they would share the 2nd full bathroom.

Just listening to the birds

We wanted a peaceful rest and that is what we got. House is off a road and you cannot hear anything just the birds. First time in the Berkshires and it was close to everything we wanted to do. House had plenty of room and all the amenities you needed. Used the gas grill a couple of time to cook. Sitting outside in the morning the front porch was nice and cool and at night the back porch.

Everything was tip-top! Plenty of space, beautiful house… kitchen, living room, porch, garage, etc. ideal for family get-togethers! Great bedrooms, very quiet and restful! We stayed here once before about 5 years ago and enjoyed our second time as much as the first.

Lovely House in a Quiet Spot

We enjoyed our second stay at this quiet home in Otis. House is large and lovely with more than enough space for a family or group, with 3 bedrooms. The master suite is huge and comfortable.

Beautiful and spacious

We rented the house for a place to stay while visiting tanglewood . It’s a beautiful clean house in the woods with a screened in porch that we loved . Everything about the trip was perfect. I highly recommend it

Lovely property!

The property was exactly as featured in their listing.! It is a lovely home - very neat and clean with comfortable beds!. The kitchen was fully stocked. There were plenty of places for guests to sleep and plenty of room to spread out and relax. We especially loved the back screened in porch! The host was a pleasure to interact with. She checked up on us during the first few days to be sure we had everything we needed. The only downside is that is in a fairly isolated area and takes almost 30 minutes to drive to into 'town'.

Great place to stay as escape from city

Our family stayed there (mine and my brother) with children. We liked the house, big and comfortable, well equipped. Close to the beach on the lake with options for swimming, fishing and hiking.

A wonderful weekend!

My friends and I had a wonderful and relaxing stay here in Otis! The home was beautiful and very clean! Vicki was absolutely wonderful! She checked with us to make sure we made it to the house and left the porch light in for us because we were arriving in the evening. That made us feel so welcome! On the porch there is a game called Ringo that was so simple and fun! We all got addicted to it. We would definitely recommend this place and we would love to return!

Four Friends Getaway

The property was very secluded in a beautiful bucolic setting. We were 4 friends getting away from the city. The house was comfortable and had many areas to relax and lounge about, which was tested due to the rainy weather we encountered. We had an opportunity to walk on tree and wildflower lined paths, surrounded by waterfalls. It was very relaxing and renewing.

Recently purchased this home and take pride in decorating and furnishing this home for ourselves and others to enjoy. I furnished this home in a modern feel with clean lines and simplicity. The kitchen is totally stock with new appliances, dishes and kitchenwares. You will love to cook here!!! I know I do!

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

The two outdoor areas.....the front porch and screened in patio in the back of the home are quite relaxing. They are my favorite spots to enjoy reading, listening to music, or having a cocktail. Being in an outside setting allows all of nature come alive such as birds singing and the warmth of the sun.
