The Southwest Gardens Apartment is a large one-bedroom, one-bathroom home located just one-block west from the Missouri Botanical Gardens, two-blocks north of the historic Tower Grove Park and less than a mile from The Hill neighborhood. This apartment comes with everything you would need for daily life and comfort. I only accept 30+ night reservations.

There are laundry machines located in the basement, High speed internet with Wi-Fi, smart TV's and a fenced back yard with a patio for your enjoyment. This apartment can sleep up to TWO guests: one king-sized bed with a memory foam mattress and linens included. In the kitchen you will find everything needed to prepare and serve a meal. The building is located in the Southwest Gardens Neighborhood right in the heart of the city, making it a perfect location for getting out and about in St. Louis.

This property is popular with travel nurses and located within minutes of many of the major hospitals and universities. Below is a list of the major hospitals and universities, if you do not see yours listed just ask and I will map it for you.

A: You can arrive anytime after 3:00pm. I can do earlier check in times if the apartment is ready. There is a lock box next to the main entrance of the building with your keys inside.

A: (10:00am) However I can do later check out times if I do not have another guest checking immediately after.

Q: Is the neighborhood safe?
A: Yes, I lived in this building for 10 years with no problems.

Q: Where is parking and does it cost anything?
A: Parking is on the street in front of the building, it is free and there is plenty for everyone.

Q: How many apartments are in the building?
A: There are four apartments in the building, two on each floor. This apartment is on the second floor.

I really enjoyed my time here, I felt like I got to live like a true Saint Louis native for a couple days. The location was perfect for getting around the city, the apartment was very clean and and the owner was very helpful with tips on how to get around town and sites to see. My teenager & I stayed here while in St. Louis for college visits. The apartment was exceptionally clean, and the kitchen very well supplied. The neighborhood is charming & safe. And we were just a short drive away from both Wash. U & SLU.

Perfect Location

We stayed here for a full week and couldn't have been happier! It was close to everything and in a safe neighborhood. The 'extras' Mike provided such as linens, travel size toiletries and even paper products made our stay that much better (and required us to have to less to pack which is always a plus!) The place was a perfect size for our little family of four. Extremely clean and well kept, we would definitely stay here again.

Quiet convenient apartment

We stayed 4 nights in this affordable 2nd story apartment. It was cool and quiet in the lovely, green neighborhood next to the Botanical Gardens. Tower Grove Park and many great restaurants on Grand were close by as was access to the rest of the city via the freeway.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay in your apartment. The apartment was very quiet, comfortable and tastefully decorated. Loved the original wood work and the flooring! It is close to the interstate to downtown, Forest Park (zoo, science center and historical museum, etc.) and the wonderful Italian Hill (best fresh pasta ever!). We will stay again when we return to St Louis!

Nice home base for college visit

My daughter and I stayed here for two nights while she visited SLU. It was an easy commute to the college and the accommodations worked well for us. The two things I worried about: safety of the neighborhood and difficulty finding street parking were non-issues. The neighborhood felt friendly and safe and we were easily able to park on the street near the building.

I always enjoy meeting my guests and hearing their stories but also I know my guests are not here to meet me, and that is why you will not hear from me during your stay unless there is an emergency or maintenance issue. Many of my guests come and go, and I never even meet them. Should something go wrong with your stay, contact me and give me a chance to make it right. I take the care, cleanliness and operation of my property very seriously. I aim to please each and every guest with the best quality rental homes I can offer and I am constantly looking for ways to improve them. My goal is to provide a home that is safer, cleaner and cheaper than any hotel/motel in the area.

I am a one man operation; if you call, text or message me through the app messenger, you will always be directly contacting the owner of the whole apartment building. I always want my guests to have fun but I also want them to remember that this is a residential neighborhood and I do have neighbors. My apartments are exactly as advertised; if I make a change, I update the pictures and information immediately. I bought this building because it is in a quiet, safe, and historic Southwest Gardens neighborhood. The centrality of the location allows you to drive, walk or bike easily around the city. This is a very safe neighborhood, I lived in this building from 2009 to 2019 with no problems. In the warmer months you will regularly see people out late at night running and/or walking the dog.

Location! The apartment is just one-block west of the Missouri Botanical Gardens and two-blocks north of Tower Grove Park. You can walk to several restaurants, shops, parks, the Missouri Botanical Gardens, grocery stores and so much more. Some of the close by neighborhoods that you can walk to include: South Grand, The Hill, Tower Grove South, Shaw, Central West End & The Grove. Also, you have easy freeway access to 64/40, 70, 55 and 44.
