casa di TOTO is typical restored farmhouse of 1700century full immersed in our private farm in one of most exclusive Lucca countryside area:house is big 240 mq has 5 bedrooms(2 kingsize+3 with two single beds each) 3 bathroom with shower,full equipped kitchen with fireplace ,big livingroom with 2 sofa ,each kingsize bedroom have one babybed each.house is really comfortable for 10 persons -bedroom on 2°floor have air conditioning system ..house has outside "al fresco pergola" with table and bbq to have fantastic breakfast lunch dinner under grape "pergola" ,garden and big terrace both with gorgeous landscape on lucca city and country valley ,all area outside is only for your use, real exclusive private INFINITY EDGE swimmingpool 10x4 metres big and 1,45 metres deep+part of 2,5x2,5 metres with 40cm of deep water is only for your use, salt water cleaning system and automatic ph level control ,pool is 50 metres far from house,located in the middle of gorgeous 300 years old olivegrove with amazing landscape on countryside and lucca city(see photos)- to get house you have to drive our typical little private countryStreet(with lot of cypress trees) long 1,200metres with 4 u-turn- lucca is very quiet small city preserved old medioeval flavour, is far from the house about 7 km and is good strategic point to discovery tuscany. if you are looking for quite place, original farmhouse, fantastic landscape , safe covidfree area exclusive swimminpool use,but connected 24 hours by wifi internet connection Casa di Toto is the right choice, please read one of the over 65 feedback that all guest from all the world give to my house-price you see is ALL INCLUDED :water electricity ,middleweek and final cleaning service,wifi internet connection,swimmingpool use--

We recently had a wonderful stay at this beautiful Tuscan farmhouse just outside Lucca. From the moment we arrived, Toto was incredibly helpful and welcoming, ensuring we had everything we needed throughout our stay.The property is set within private grounds surrounded by olive trees, creating a peaceful and authentic Tuscan atmosphere. The views are absolutely breathtaking, and the outdoor seating areas are spectacular—perfect for relaxing with a morning coffee or enjoying a glass of wine as the sun sets.The house itself was well-equipped, with a fully equipped kitchen and comfortable bedrooms that made it feel like a home away from home. Everything we needed was provided.The drive up to the property is very steep, but don't let that put you off—it is more than worth it once you arrive. The infinity pool is fabulous and offers stunning views across the surrounding countryside.Our favourite moments were spent in the beautiful garden during the evenings, watching the fireflies dance around us. It felt truly magical and made our stay unforgettable.We would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a peaceful Tuscan escape and would love to return in the future.

The house was perfect for our family and friends. We thoroughly enjoyed the rustic nature of the house - so roomy and had everything we needed. The kitchen hosted many meals. The swimming pool was sublime. We loved Toto and his dad and sister. The horse and donkey were an added bonus for the kids to see.

Fantastic stay!

We have been ten people from 7 years to 78 years. Everyone is over the moon with excitement after 14 wonderful days at Toto's. The host does everything to make us feel good, and has helped us with everything we have asked. The house is charming and the pool is a jewel. Evening swim with a view of Lucca is magical. Thank you so much for us :)

Nice place. Safe and away from the city. Nice pool, and terraces. Great kitchen and bbq. Nice place to reach Cinque Terre, Pisa, Firenze and eventually Sienna.The place is not totally quiet as the road at the bottom of the valley is a bit noisy.

i'm really sad and surprised about this problem of valley road noise also because in 18years of renting nobody tell me about this like shown in over 32 5stars feedback.main street is far 400metres from house, i really dont understand.. i'm very sad and disappointed about 4stars vote -i respect your 4stars vote but i really dont share your opinion-anyway i hope you have same good memory of your holiday here

It’s all you want for holiday; it’s better then the pictures. The view is amazing! The way to get up is small and difficult, you get used of it. The view is amazing and closed you a kind of viewing! We love it !

Toto's house is simply incredible! We loved the location and setting. The large kitchen with the big table was perfect for a bunch of foodies who enjoy cooking and eating (and talking about cooking and eating!) to come together around at the end of the day. The pool - and the views from it - are breathtaking. We felt very privileged and spoiled to be able to enjoy lazing around for a week, taking in the view of the valley below and watching a pair of buzzards circling overhead on the thermal currents as bees, butterflies and dragonflies dropped by to say hello too!The added bonus of three bathrooms was great. The beds were comfortable and the aircon in the two single bedded rooms was VERY much appreciated!The road up to the house from the main route was a little hairy with five of us in a big car full of luggage and the spoils of our supermarket haul along the way from Pisa but nothing that patience and a concentration couldn't solve!All-in-all, our trip was wonderful and Toto was a fantastic host. We'll definitely be back!

Rustic Charm at its best

We were a family of 8 (five adults and three children aged 7, 5 and 2) and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Casa Di Toto. It’s a lovely old farmhouse, set amongst stunning scenery. We felt really relaxed throughout our stay...even though Toto and his family live next door. Toto gives you absolute privacy and is very nice and friendly. We made good use of the pool, BBQ and terrace. We particularly liked the little walk to the swimming pool and the views from it. It’s only a ten minute drive to beautiful Lucca and 25 minutes drive to the coast too. Everything was perfect!

Toto is a great host! Everything that could possibly be needed is available, if something is missing, he solves it immediately. Toto has great knowledge of the area, so ask him for tips. Having your own car is a must. In the beginning, you were a little worried about the way up to the house, but you learned it quickly. There were 8 of us living in the house and there was plenty of room for all of us. Thank you for a fantastic week in Lucca 😍

Beautiful

We are a group of 4 children (aged 1 -10) and 5 adults. We all loved our stay, and were very comfortable. The house was very clean and well equipped and there was plenty of space for us all. Casa di Toto is a charming old farmhouse on a hill. The house is semi-detached, with Toto living next door, however, it always felt like we were in a private area and not overlooked. The highlight was the beautiful gardens and view from them. There were several pleasant areas for the adults to sit and relax, a lawn for the kids to run about on and a tree house to play in. At night, the garden was full of fireflies which were magical to watch. Everybody loved the infinity pool, it was truly special to swim with the amazing view of the hills. It was big and deep enough for us all to enjoy a swim and a splash and there is a smaller, shallower pool attached to the back of the main pool which was great for the younger kids to have a paddle in. The pool was kept clean and well maintained.The drive to and from the main road is steep and windy but you get used to it. Once on the main road, Lucca is a short drive. We were also able to get to the beach, Pisa, Florence and the hillside villages of Bagni di Lucca within a reasonable drive. Toto is an excellent host, he was friendly and welcoming and on hand if needed. He provided us with interesting information about the house as well as well as tips on the local area. I would love to visit Casa di Toto again and would recommend it to anyone.

Charming old housing with beautiful garden, nature and accessibility

La Casa di Toto is ideally situated for those who want direct access to a main road leading to surrounding cities and still want to enjoy the pleasure of the countryside. The house has the authentic charm of an old farmers house, and has been furnished efficiently for 8 people. We had guests over one night and used the folding beds that we found in the storage room. We cooked a lot and appreciated the large and well equipped kitchen and as well as the barbecue. The outside area is really marvelous : a shady dining place, a pergola with stunning view over the hill and the city of Lucca, and of course the swimming pool surrounded by olive trees and again offering a wonderful view. We visited Barga and hiked up to the beautiful and deserted village of Sommocolinia, we went to Lucca, Firenze, Pisa and also to Marina di Pisa and the nice new marina. We had a day at the beach south from Viareggio. Finally we found some nice hiking possibilities starting from casa di Toto, you can walk up to Monte Catino and enjoy a great view in all directions. Toto is a great host and will help you out wherever he can, he lives next door but his house has a separate entrance and you really have perfect privacy. The only regret we had was that the holidays were over to soon!

First of all many thanks to owner Toto that give us possibility to taste real tuscany farmer house. To visit toscana Lucca is best strategic point, near florence pisa ,sea, mountains etc house is bigger than you expected like toto told us farmer family was very large , and last farmer lived here were in 14 persons!!!we usually rent house on july and also last 2015 very very hot 37° house was fresh (walls are 60 cm!!!large) and during the dinner a fresh breeze give us specially reason to dinner under great grapevine “pergola” and stay long in the night outside to enjoy country night life.Toto and his family lives just on the other side of this huge house but except if you call him you never see him, is present but not intrusive, if you have any kind of little problem little question he is very helpfull. House is inside Toto family property bought by his grandfather on 1920 and if you have time to talk with him he real explane all about his farm For four glorious vacations (summer 2013,2014,2015 and 2016!!), my family and I traveled to Italy and stayed in this delightful home. Casa di Toto has all the charm of the Tuscan countryside: sunshine on your face, open fields to roam . The villa/house gave our family plenty space to congregate and enough places for a little privacy. All four years I traveled with my bicycle, wandering through many of the villages that surround Lucca and never did get to see all the places I wanted to. The house is situated between the flatlands of the coastal waters and the hilly region of Lucca; an excellent location for the true cyclist,little street to get house is pretty steep on last 20 metres but nothing of impossible.swimmingpool located in fantastic point 50 metres far from house in the middle of great olive grove give us the privscy&relax like main title show. My family and I were particularly pleased with our host, Toto who shared with us the Italian way besides providing an immaculate home. . So bring your book if you need some down time by the pool, bring your appetite to eat , bring your intellect to study the arts and don’t forget your sense of adventure to discover all that Italy that is known for. Partirei con il fare i complimenti a Toto per la sua disponibilità e cortesia . Abbiamo trascorso un soggiorno davvero piacevole in questa struttura, casa molto accogliente e pulita. Unico appunto, se soggiornate tanto tempo, i materassi non sono troppo comodi. Consigliamo comunque vivamente questa struttura!

Ein Ort zum Erholen und Ruhe tanken. Der großzügige Pool war immer wieder Treffpunkt der ganzen Familie, ein Mega Ausblick zu jeder Tageszeit! Das großzügige Haus mit der gesamten Anlage bietet alles für einen wunderschönen erholsamen Urlaub. Die Auffahrt zum Haus ist eine kleine herausfordernd am Anfang aber machbar und mit jeder Fahrt wird es besser. Toto, der Vermieter ist sehr nett und freundlich. Man merkt, dass er sich mit viel Liebe um alles kümmert. Es war eine unvergessliche Zeit, Danke!.

Fantastisch verblijf

We waren met twee gezinnen in dit fantastische huis. Mooi gelegen boven op de berg met schitterend uitzicht over Lucca. Het huis is van alle gemakken voorzien en Toto is zeer behulpzaam en als er een vraag is reageert hij snel. Je kan heerlijk buiten eten op het terras onder de pergola en ‘s avonds lekker bbq’en. Wij hebben enorm genoten. De weg naar de locatie toe is een ervaring op zich maar zeker goed te doen. Dichtbij Lucca en in de buurt zijn heerlijke restaurants. Een echte aanrader. Toto nogmaals bedankt voor alles!

Toskana- feeling pur

Casa di Toto liegt oben am Berg, das über Serpentinen zu erreichen ist. Man ist dort fast alleine, nur Toto wohnt mit seiner Familie nebenan. Das Haus ist groß und liegt ideal, um Ausflüge in jegliche Richtungen zu unternehmen. Danach ist der eigene Pool ideal, um sich abzukühlen und den tollen Ausblick zu genießen.

Dieses Haus an einem Hügel in der Nähe von Lucca ist ein Traum! Wir (Gruppe von 8 Freunden) haben den Garten, den Pool mit der tollen Aussicht und die Umgebung sehr genossen! In der grossen Küche haben wir selber Pasta gekocht und Brot gebacken. Kräuter fanden wir im Umschwung um das Haus. In Lucca ist man schnell, vor allem mit dem Auto. Wir waren jeweils auch ohne unterwegs und wurden dafür beim Hinauflaufen im Dunkeln mit einem Anblick von schwirrenden Glühwürmchen belohnt. Wirklich ein wundervolles Stücken Erde. Der Gastgeber Toto war sehr hilfsbereit und hat sich gut um uns Gäste gekümmert und war bei Problemen telefonisch erreichbar. Danke nochmals für die super Gastfreundschaft. Dies ist wichtig zu wissen (keine Kritik): - Geschlafen haben wir auch alle gut (gute Matratzen und gute Verteilung der Räume) Die Läden lassen sich nicht lichtdicht schliessen. - Das WLAN war nicht so stabil und auch nicht im ganzen Haus erreichbar. Diest hat einige gestört und mich persönlich nicht wirklich, weil ich in den Ferien auf Internet verzichten kann. - Mit einem min. einem Auto dort zu sein ist sehr ratsam. Wir waren auch oft ohne unterwegs, jedoch ist man dann sehr auf Taxis angewiesen. Der Bus fährt fast nie.
