A spectacular newly built modern home located just north of San Diego and La Jolla and just south of Del Mar.

Look no further, you have found a truly beautiful home to vacation in. Filled with tasteful art and intimate spaces, come relax in the many open air "hang outs" after an excellent day at the beach, an incredible score at Torrey Pines Golf Course, or a handful of victories at Del Mar Horse Racing Track.

Guests will have access to the entire 3-story house excluding the garage and storage room. Full kitchen and outdoor BBQ island.
DVD library, HD channels, and Internet available.

My neighborhood is very architecturally diverse. It is book ended by the State park to the north and the lagoon to the south. Natural beauty abounds. This is one of the most sought after beach communities in San Diego. There are 4, and soon to be 5, excellent restaurants within a 2 minute walk.

There is a train station to the north and south. The public bus stop is right on the coast directly west, about a 5 minute walk.
You are going to have an EXCELLENT experience in my home. Pets? - let's talk about it. Families are welcome.

The house is located about 17 miles north of the San Diego airport. It's about 2 miles west of the Interstate 5 freeway. The nearest train station is about 5 miles north in Solana Beach. There are usually plenty of taxis at the train station and airport.

Beautiful House in a Wonderful Location with a Great Owner

Owner was amazing! He was extremely helpful especially when our flights got cancelled and there was a delay in getting there. House was wonderful and uniquely decorated! It was walking distance to Torre Pines beach which was wonderful for sunset walks! Also, there were many eating places right within walking distance. The drive into San Diego or north were also convenient! We would definitely stay again!

I love this house!

This home is totally unique with a lot of beautiful and personal touches. There are balconies everywhere and the rooftop area is spectacular!It is actually much better than the photos.A really great place to stay.

5 stars is not enough. The pictures on VRBO does not do this property justice. Beyond expectations. Fine dining steps from the home. 10 minute walk to Torrey Pines State beach. Plenty of room for 6 people. Hope to return next year. Loved the upper deck!

Great Getaway

Perfect home for a beach getaway. Walking distance to beach, 4 restaurants, and convenience store. Also great location for sightseeing, not far from all the sights of San Diego and surrounding areas. Property had all necessities. Very pleased! Thank you!

Our family had a wonderful experience at this property. Everything was clean, comfortable and well appointed. We loved the rooftop deck overlooking the ocean, interesting architecture, and collection of original artwork throughout the house. A step up from your typical VRBO experience. The location is perfect for walks to the beach, around the corner for coffee, and easy access to the freeway. Check in/out was seamless. We hope to return. Thank you Cam!

LOCATION

The location to the beach is wonderful. If that is # one, then a great place to stay. Could it use a deep clean, absolutely. Day one, I bought a new coffee maker, toilet paper, laundry detergent and other basics. I do not think that is too much to ask, that those basics would be there. I unclogged two drains, emptied one of the vacuums (yuck). I stayed a month so I got a good idea of the area. Can it be a bit noisy, yup! It is near the beach and three small restaurants, so smells and noise are inevitable. He is nice and responsive.....but are there issues, yes

Loved it Two Times

Our recent stay at this Del Mar Heights property was the second for our family in the past few years. The decision to return reflects how much we enjoyed the property (and location) during our initial visit; and the return engagement did not disappoint. This wonderfully eclectic property again served as an ideal base for our family vacation. The well-equipped home has plenty of spaces to gather – or retreat – as desired, and a third-floor, ocean-view deck serves as a perfect spot for morning coffee or an evening beverage. The home is located in walking distance from the Torrey Pines State Beach and a variety of eateries, and just a short drive from Del Mar Beach and the nearby shopping district. As was the case with our original stay, the property owner was terrific in terms of communication and responsiveness and was truly committed to ensuring we had an enjoyable experience. We look forward to our next visit to Del Mar and, we hope, this property!

We loved our stay at this beautiful perfectly located home

We had a wonderful stay at this vacation house and it's one of our favorite homes we have vacationed in. We were coming into San Diego to visit our student at UCSD and this is a great house for parents of UCSD students coming into town. It's conveniently located a few minutes drive from campus and it's just a short walk from a beautiful beach. The home was clean, and beautifully decorated. There was lots of space for all of us and our two teenagers travelling with us loved they could walk to coffee, pizza, tacos and the beach very easily. We are looking forward to our next visit and plan to make this our home base when traveling to San Diego with our teenage kids. This was a perfect vacation rental, with comfortable beds, everything we needed in the kitchen and a beautiful home.

Gorgeous House

The house was filled with beautiful pottery, paintings, and design objects. It was immaculate, comfortable and spacious. The house is much nicer than the pics show. I will definitely recommend to friends.

Perfect Pre-Holiday Stay

Beautiful large home and a great neighborhood with an awesome rooftop deck for viewing the sunset. Cam greeted us upon arrival for a quick overview which was very helpful. We will definitely enjoy staying here again.

Our family stayed in Cam’s gorgeous Del Mar home Thanksgiving week and loved it. Perfect weather for walks on the beach and in Torrey Pines. Cam is a gracious and responsive host and did so much to make our stay pleasant.

Del Marvelous

We spent a wonderful week in Del Mar at this amazing property. The location is perfect, just a short walk to Torrey Pines State Reserve and a short drive to Del Mar Village, Solana Beach, La Jolla and San Diego. The property was extremely clean and comfortable; we were a party of four but there was plenty of room for six. The rooftop deck was great for sunsets, and there is beautiful eclectic art everywhere you look throughout the house. The kitchen was well appointed and it was nice having a washer and dryer handy. The bedrooms were spacious (each with their own balcony) and beds very comfortable. The owner is a most gracious host and we appreciated the opportunity to meet in person. I cannot recommend this property enough and I hope to be back in the near future! Thank you for the perfect home base for our San Diego adventure!!

West Coast Happy

Traveled from our home in NJ to visit our busy adult children who have relocated to California. Cameron’s home in Del Mar was perfect for bringing everyone together. Cam was available, helpful and communicative. We enjoyed dinners in the lovely garden and the easy access to the beach. Had a great time visiting restaurants and sights of nearby Coronado, downtown Del Mar and San Diego. The unusual, extreme heat and humidity was the only downside to our stay. Wonderful location, beautiful house!
