Loved the cleanliness & layout of the condo, and ocean view was fantastic!! The grounds were picturesque and well taken care of! The kitchen was well stocked with all the utensils/ small appliances and obviously stove and refrigerator,had our breakfast every morning on the balcony with the view of the ocean,Dukes food and ambiance was great!! Appreciated the beach chairs and umbrella that came with condo supplies!Loved all of Randy/Mary recommendations for grocery shopping,restaurants,activities, etc, made for a very memorable trip,would seriously consider another trip in the future at the same condo!!

Wonderful stay! Fantastic ocean view. Comfortable beds including pull out coach. Well equipped kitchen to cook meals at the condo, great beach equipment (4 chairs / 2 boogie boards), and plenty of extras like paper towels, plastic bags, laundry detergent, cleaning supplies etc. extra towels, sheets. Great location for dinners on front street, snorkeling around black rock and shopping at whalers village. Great beachfront for the snorkelers and the ocean swimmers. Awesome pool access and canā€™t go wrong with Dukes restaurant on the property! Amazing stay!

Great stay!

The unit was very clean and well appointed. It faces a small beach access road lined with trees and we enjoyed opening the doors in the morning to all the bird songs. The owners provide lots of great advice on things to do which we appreciated. The pools were great and we were always able to find open lounge chairs (November).

We had a wonderful time staying at Randy and Mary's place. The resort had all the amenities we needed. It was clean and the staff was extremely friendly. Easy access to pools on the property and the beach. Randy and Mary were extremely helpful and gave us an incredible amount of information about the area. Definitely a return location!

Wonderful Honua Kai Stay

My husband and I stayed at Randy and Mary's property at Honua Kai for our 25th wedding anniversary. What a beautiful condo and in a perfect location overlooking the ocean! Our hosts thought of everything- from making recommendations about restaurants, day trips, shopping, snorkeling to gifting us a bottle of champagne to celebrate, the communication could not have been better. We would highly recommend this property!

Randyā€™s place was so great to stay in. It was well equipped with all the necessary items. The unit was clean and inviting. The location is also a plus, nearby to a stores and food trucks. But what I really think sets their unit apart is the communication. Before my stay, Randy called me with so much great information that pertained to my stay. In addition to that, during my stay, I received many helpful emails regarding fun locations to visit or good food places to check out. Loved this resort and our room. We are pretty picky about where we stay so we were very pleased to find this condo was as lovely as pictured! It smelled clean, ac worked great, beds were comfortable, and had an amazing view. Randy was so helpful and knowledgeable about the island. He provided us with loads of recommendations on food, activities, shopping, and site seeing. Thank you so much for making our first trip to Hawaii absolutely amazing!!

Awesome Unit

We love to stay at Honua Kai Resort. This unit was no disappointment and lived up to the listing. The view of the ocean from the lanai was spectacular. The room itself offers everything you need while on vacation. The owner of the unit Randy of Maui Nuts is easy to work with. When we return to Maui I'll be looking to rent this condo again.

Exactly what my husband and I we were looking for! This is a lovely property with all the amenities and wonderful hosts. The property was clean, very well maintained, and nicely decorated. The view of the water was truly spectacular from the lanai. The Kitchen was well stocked with supplies need to cook meals (incl. spices). We appreciated the starter pack of consumable supplies for our stay as well. The condo also had beach items for us to use such as chairs (with pouches), umbrellas, coolers, and the resort supplies as many pool/beach towels as you need. The hosts were very friendly and communicative, making sure to pass along any info needed for our trip tons of recommendations to help you get the most out of your visit. The property is family friendly and the condo is quiet. We never had an issue finding parking. It is right on the beach, where we saw a turtle from shore. We also took advantage of the Ho'ola Spa on site. All resort staff were very friendly and the bell desk held our grocery items for us when we arrived before check-in time.
