Beautiful villa in quiet area with pool, large garden, and close to the beach

Casa del Sur is a completely and remodeled villa in a quiet residential area. The house has plenty of terraces on the ground floor and on the roof with a beautiful view of the sea. The inside has a very homey atmosphere. It is surrounded by a mature colorful flower garden with a large swimming pool. It is conveniently located at a 5-minute walk from the small beach of Cala Serena, at 800 m from shops and restaurants in Cala Ferrera and at a 20-minute stroll from the center of Cala d'Or.

Included in the rental price: is a maid service once a week if you stay more than one week . Bed sheets and towels are provided. If the stay is longer than a week, there is a change of linen every week.

Guest information: In the villa are 2 guest manuals. One gives house and personal safety information as well as emergency numbers. This manual should be read upon arrival. It also contains all kind of information about the surrounding area and Mallorca in general such as maps, places to visit, markets, shops, restaurants, etc. The other manual gives practical information about equipment and utensils in the house. Please take time to consult them; both can be useful to you.

Cala d'Or: Cala d'Or is very close to Cala Serena. It is a nice and appealing little town with streets busy with people strolling and shops selling everything you dream of, at any value, from very inexpensive to very expensive. There are plenty of restaurants with menus from different countries that can appeal to any taste. You can also find bars or nightclubs to finish the evening. There is also a very good grocery store, Eroski, located at the entrance of Cala d'Or.

Other parts of Cala d'Or are residential and very quiet with beautiful houses, ibicenco style, all painted in white. There are several beaches there to swim in the turquoise water of the sea. There are also possibilities to play tennis in Cala d'Or.

You will find more shops and restaurants along Cala Llonga, which is the marina of Cala d'Or where you can admire ships and yachts of any size.

At the entrance of Cala Serena is a snorkeling club.

Close to Cala Serena is a golf course, the Vall d'Or.

Great place to stay with family! Wonderful garden and pool with space to relax and enjoy. Five minute walk to beautiful Cala Serena. Communication and check-in went smooth. The house manager is very friendly and always responsive in case there are any problems.

Was a lovely villa however, was further than described from main attractions and also did not agree with earlyRelease from property on departure with minute of facilities. That said Antonia was amazingly helpful but it was limited and I think they need to make provision for late departures as that ruined the stay. The property is very overrun with ants and although not the fault of the owner was a problem despite daily clearing up and garbage disposal. Was nice to be told by the cleaners that we were the cleanest and tidiest people as the place was left spotless. It needs someupdating and a lot moreLighting around the garden as when you arrive late or come home in the evening there is very little lighting to avoid pool, steps and uneven pathways.

Beautiful villa. Very spacious. Well stocked kitchen. Very clean. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Quite a walk from the main area of Cala Ferrera, especially with a pushchair! But fine if you don’t mind a 20 minute walk into town.

Cannot fault the property, only a few minutes walk to Cala Serena beach, great house and gardens and lovely pool. Also the staff looking after the property were amazing 5* all round and would recommend to anyone

Lovely place to stay, right by a beautiful beach

Spacious villa with a lovely pool, which was perfect for our family holiday! Not too far from Cala D’Or about a 25 minute walk across two beaches or you can get a taxi for about 8 euros. Cala Ferrera has some lovely places to eat and that’s about 15minute walk. Recommend going to the new Mercadona supermarket in Cala D’Or for your big shops as it is a lot cheaper than others.

Thank you for a lovely holiday. We were 7 persons (2 adults + 5 teenagers). The House was large, with 4 bedrooms, and a beautifull outside terrasse with large umbrella. The garden was filled with many sunbeds, and the pool was large and perfect. The comunication before arrival was good. We had all informations. And a housekeeper came and met us on arrival. Perfect. And the Beach… Wau. Thank you (Only thing we missed was a gass grill. That would have been nice)

the villa, garden and pool were all perfect it was a beautiful place for our holiday- close to a lovely small beach. it is in a quiet residential area which suited us about 20 minutes walk to the small resort of cala ferrara- you can walk to the busier resort of cala d’or but it was a bit much for us due to the 30 degrees heat. we needed a car to get shopping from the supermarket about 5 mins away. the property has 1 bedroom upstairs and 2 on the ground floor- thus suited our group perfectly. This was a beautiful villa and we spent a lot of time in and around the pool.

Schöne Villa in einer gehobenen Wohngegend

Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Woche in der Ferienvilla mit tollen Garten und Pool, welche ideal für Familien mit Kindern ist. Die Sauberkeit ließ etwas zu wünschen übrig, insbesondere was die Küchenausstattung anging. Auch wäre es an der Zeit, Töpfe, Pfannen und Kaffeemaschine einmal auszutauschen. Wir waren daher lieber auswärts Essen. Empfehlenswert: Restaurant Cala Ferrera (Bar Maria) - fußläufig entfernt.

Everything was fine. The pool was perfect and clean. Everybody enjoyed the holiday. Kitchen well equipped. Even some swim gogles and toya for the kids. Wifi perfect. We will come back

A lovely holiday in a beautiful villa in a great location with a terrific garden and pool. The villa retains an old fashioned rustic charm but perhaps needs a bit of furniture upgrade (especially the beds and bedding and outside garden furniture). We found that there was a real issue with getting any taxis to take us into town from Cala Serena. There is a weird catchment area system that means relying on just a few drivers who concentrate on airport runs. It was very frustrating!

Wunderschöner Urlaub in bester Lage. Der Strand Cala Serena ist perfekt für Familien. Die Sauberkeit in Haus lies zu wünschen übrig. Offensichtlich ist das Putzteam nicht fertig geworden. Ebenso waren Geschirr und Geräte in der Küche nicht sauber. Trotzdem ein wunderschönes Haus. Toller Garten. Großer Pool. Perfekt für Familien mit Kindern. Kommunikation und Betreuung vor Ort sehr gut und unkompliziert.

An Enjoyable family holiday

We found the Villa Casa del Sur very spacious and comfortable for our family of 8 including children. The garden and pool were equally beautiful and definitely enhanced our stay at the property. The Villa is located in a lovely residential area a short walk away from the beach Cala Ferrer and for more ambitious walker Cala Dor was in striking distance - Taxis were scarce. All in all a wonderful holiday.

Annonce non conforme à la réalité

Annonce pas du tout conforme à la réalité sur place. Points positifs: 5mn à pied d'une belle petite calanque, gérante immobilière très disponible et sympathique.Propriétaire réactive et à l'écoute. C'est une grande propriété. Points négatifs:la villa est infestée de fourmies notamment dans les chambres et même sur le lit, les matelas sont peu confortables. Le sol n'était pas très propre à l'arrivée. Les salles de bains sont vétustes,BBQ rouillé et ventilateur rouillé,gazinière de dépannage sale et rouillée( mise à disposition lors d'une coupure d'électricité et d'eau) , la durée de la climatisation est non conforme à la note d'information mise à disposition des clients (la climatisation devait fonctionner jusqu'à 9h du matin mais elle ne fonctionnait que jusqu'à 7h du matin lors du séjour). La piscine n'est pas sécurisée pour les enfants car il n'y a pas de barrière de protection autour de la piscine. Aucun passage de la femme de ménage lors de notre séjour. L'eau de robinetterie légèrement huileuse, les eaux usées ressortent sur le trottoir de la villa causant des odeurs nauséabondes. Nous aurions aimé être avertis au préalable de la venue dans la villa du personnel (jardinier et gérante immobiliere) par message sur le portable avant toute pénétration dans la propriété durant la location dans un souci de respect de notre intimité. Vu le prix de la location, les prestations de la villa n'ont pas été à la hauteur.Experience très décevante.

Lovely family holiday

Very nice villa in a beautiful location. A great pool and garden. The manager was very friendly assisting us whenever we needed help. A small supermarket 10 min walk and a great resturant close to the supermarket. We would love to come back.

This house has been in my family since my parents built it in 1965. My family and I have been spending our summer vacations there since that time. When my husband and I both retired, we decided to spend part of the year on the island. We renovated the house so that it is comfortable both in the summer and in the winter. We enjoy going to Mallorca in the winter. We like spending time visiting different towns to get immersed in the Mallorquin culture and we go from one festival to the other. Palma de Mallorca, the capital of the island, is also a favorite spot with its museums, historic cathedral and shops. I also enjoy spending time on the terraces at the house, reading and looking at boats sailing in the sea.

We really enjoy the house and its location. It is very homey, easy to live in with all modern comfort. It is in a very quiet urbanization, away from crowds, but at a walking distance from restaurants and shops. It is second line to the sea, so we can visit the cliffs and rocks through public access points but do not have to worry about the salty water and winds, which allow us to have a very flowery garden. We have a panoramic view, looking at the mountains and the sea. We have a gorgeous and well groomed garden and we are very close to the Cala Serena beach.

There are many things to do, depending on your interests. If you want to relax, the house has a beautiful garden, private pool and terraces with great view of the sea and mountains. If you want to go to the beach, the Cala Serena beach is a few minutes walk away. Other beaches, such as Cala Ferrera, Cala Sanau and Cala d'Or, are close and accessible with a car or by foot. As distraction, you can walk to nearby restaurants and shops, as well as to a marine diving school. The house is also very close to a beautiful golf course with a popular restaurant. It is near to some typical Mallorquin towns, such as Santanyi, Felanitx, and S'Horta. In these towns, you can enjoy outdoor markets and historic churches and streets. Harbors, like Porto Petro and Porto Colom, are also a short drive away, where you can spend time walking and looking at boats.There are also archeological sites nearby.
