Welcome to 'Largo Lookout'! This fabulous 2nd floor, waterfront apartment an updated and pet friendly. Conveniently located at Mile Marker (MM) 99.5 in the Heart of Key Largo, Florida.

Largo Lookout is located on a navigable canal that leads to the Atlantic ocean. Enjoy the water views and aquatic life sightings from your 2nd floor balcony. In our canal and boat slip, our guests are delighted to see manatees, dolphin, nurse sharks, baby Barracuda, plus other tropical fish such as colorful Parrot Fish, Mangrove Snapper, Sargent Major's & even the occasional Angel fish!

Largo Lookout is a pet friendly vacation rental that offers guests the opportunity to travel with their well-behaved, house-trained, non-aggressive pets. We have a few pet stay requirements and charge a reasonable, non-refundable pet fee. Just ask!

Largo Lookout has been called a "Waterfront Gem" by several of our guests. The apartment is a 2nd floor flat with lovely views of a navigable waterway that leads quickly to the Atlantic ocean. Watch boats of all shapes and sizes cruise by from your 2nd floor balcony as they cruise through the Pilot House canal. Our guests often see and hear the African Queen tour boat as she passes by.

The apartment's waterfront balcony is quite roomy and overlooks our backyard as well as 2 navigable waterways! The main canal (waterway) leads to Pilot House marina, bar and restaurant when boats are north bound, and leads to the Atlantic ocean when boats are southbound!

You will love to sit and relax on the balcony, watching as boats head to and from the ocean. You will even see manatees swim by, as well as people in kayaks and on paddle boards and jet skis as they cruise through our canal and the adjacent waterway!

You may want to bring your bicycles! There are several restaurants within walking / biking distance of Largo Lookout including: Skippers, The Pilot House, High Tide Diner, Key Largo Fisheries & Backyard Café, just to name a few! And, there's a nearby community park with tennis courts and swimming center with several pools that you can drive or bike to. Fee applies. Also located at the park are tennis courts, walking path and green spaces. Pet owners often walk their pets along the park's walking paths.

A reasonable fee applies for short term pool membership at the nearby swimming center. You can get information here: Jacobs Aquatic Center

The kitchen is compact and efficient, featuring nice size refrigerator/freezer, stainless sink, brand new smooth-top electric stove/oven, microwave, coffee maker, blender, toaster oven, hand mixer, pots, pans, dishes, glasses and more! It's a well-stocked, but compact kitchen. There's even a butcher block island from Ikea.

~ Master bedroom: King size bed with brand new pillow-top mattress by Serta.

~ Living room: Queen-size Lazy Boy Sofa Sleeper. .

~ Travel Crib: Pack & Play portable crib.

Note: We live year-round in the home below the apartment. So, the backyard is reserved for our own use.

Guests staying at Largo Lookout have use of the 2nd floor balcony that runs the width of the home. The balcony and most rooms in the apartment offer terrific views of the waterways!

Our guests have off street parking for 1 car or truck. If you are traveling with a small trailer for bicycles, paddle boards and such, let us know. We may have room to park the trailer at our house.

While Sea & Sky Rentals provides you with an initial supply of toilet paper, paper towels, hand soap, and trash bags which are intended to get you through your first evening at the home, we recommend you bring the following: paper towels, toilet paper, trash bags, hair dryer, napkins, condiments, spices, dish washing liquid, laundry soap, coffee and coffee filters, beach towels, umbrella, beach toys, sunscreen, groceries, aluminum foil, and anything else you may need to make your vacation complete!
